The hall before look like a strange chaos demons idea of what a divine feast hall should be, Large tables With chairs either awkwardly tall or short were scattered around tables equally haphazardly placed in the half moon shaped pavillion. Elegantly long and pale marble feasting tables draped with alabaster colored silk next to long wooden tables piled with meats and ale.
Here is where you discuss things amongst each other. . .

I'm trying to figure out how long Eir has been dead. Valkyries are immortal when it comes to time thus so long as she is never defeated in battle and killed, then she'd live forever. But if we're starting with coming back from the dead then she couldn't have been dead that long.
What I do know is that before she was Eir she was a simply fighter who used a weighted spear. She held the pass while those of her home fled to safety. Towards the end of the line of people her spear was broken and the spear end was ran through her heart till it came out the other end. Her bravery and valor in the face of overwhelming odds for those who couldn't stand themselves, won her the respect of the Valkyries. They gave her life again but she was forever bonded to the very item that brought about her death. While she remembers how she died, and gets flashbacks of who she might have been, she has no real memory of the person she was before the Valkyries brought her into their ranks. Which isn't unusual for Valkyries.
If we're allowed to pick when in the time line I'd totally go for the opening of the World Wound! Making a last stand against demons to let innocent escape seems like a good last deed. Thoughts?

You all get a treat! I wrote this in first person which is a rarity for me!
I don’t remember where I lived, and only that the place now it tainted by evil. Even if you give me a map I wouldn’t be able to point to place the place I lived was. But I can point to one thing, the place where I died. It begins the same way every time I think about it. I feel the earth shake and the sky darkens. Looking to the horizon it becomes flooded with creatures that can only be described as monstrous floods that land and sky, grabbing people we run. It was our only hope. It fades out from there only to pick up at the side of a lake.
People around me are running and screaming, scrabbling to get onto the boats, ships, and even rafts that can take them away from this place. I lead my people to the lake’s side to get onto a ship when a roar rings out over the crowd. There was a nine foot tall monstrous creature consisting of a six-armed woman with the lower half of a snake. Now I know this creature was a Merilith, a demon that is known to be a general of demonic hordes and if it was here it meant a horde was not far behind. But then all I knew was that if this thing got close, none would survive. Weighted spear in hand, and without a second thought, I made my way to the demon. Four died before I reached it, but my opening swing took an arm off. This act gave me a boost of courage, which would be my downfall. During the battle disarming one of the swords it carried was easy, the second not so much. In order to get it away I made the sacrifice that would claim my life. I allowed it to cut my spear in two. With the weighted side in hand I swung at it’s head only to be stopped in my tracks. The Merilith had caught the spear in one of her many hands and driven it right through my heart. My own weapon was my defeat. The demon hissed out a laugh and threw me back into the lake.
As the cold water pulled me down into the depths, the screams and cries from above grew muted and distant. I had no idea if my people made it to safety, if my death meant anything, or gave them the time they needed. I didn’t even have time to drown, my spear took my final breath long before then. The last thing I remember from that life was cold and darkness.
The first memory I have as the one I am now was waking upon the shore of the lake. I knew not my name and looking up before me stood a tall woman dressed for battle astride a mighty winged steed. ”Who are you” She said, a command not a question. Before I knew it I was answering ”Eir.” Though I knew not if that was my name before. ”A good name, welcome Eir, the mercy extended to friends and the mercy denied to foes.” She said. I looked down expecting to see a spear still through my chest, yet it was gone. ”It is a part of you now. You are like us. One who claims those of the dead who are worthy, you Eir are a Valkyrie. Call it to you. The weapon that killed you.” She instructed. I held out my hand like was going to grab something and before I knew it a weighted spear filled the space. The spear head and the bit of shaft that had been pushed through my body was completely black and where my blood had touched the wood further down as it flowed made strikes of black on the wood. The other side though looked normal, metal and wood in color. ”An ebony spear… has been a long time since I saw such a thing. Name it.” She commanded. ”It is as much a part of you as your own being is.” It only took a moment before I told her it was ”Ibenholt” A smile broke her lips only slightly before she nodded and extended a hand. ”I am Sigrun, your mentor Eir. Come, we leave this mortal plane. You and I must return home.” I took her hand and she pulled me onto the steed as I asked ”Home?” ”Valhalla Eir, we ride to Valhalla!”

Just to give you an idea of why I asked about the named item.
Ibenholt
This weighted spear was created Haelphatross, a creature created by the gods to outfit their armies for the last battle.
Its made from a strange black metal material, called starstone by some. It maintains the properties of standard steel except that it counts as good aligned and cold iron against creatures with those weaknesses.
It counts as a +3 spear /+2 mace in battle.
Shattered in its founding, the spear can now at its wielders choice become 2 weapons. It is a move equivalent action to split the weapon into two parts and it is a move equivalent action to rejoin them.
The weapons spear head functions as a keen, frost weapon
The weapons Mace head functions as a legbreaking weapon.
Due to the nature of the weapon if its ever lost or disarmed from its wielder it can recalled to their hand as a standard action.
Perfectly crafted Ibenholt may be wielded with one hand (spear end only) if the wielder is using a shield.

Eir - Gameplay is open for you at the moment. I know I know charectors not done being built yet but . . . take a gander.
Eliah you will be introduced soon enough, take a gander at the gameplay if you would like... Uh just do me a favor and when a certain Valkyrie offers to make you Einherjar say yes :P

So I do have a question about how those chosen by them are taken care of.
Do they turn the soul into a new form like how a Valkyrie is made, or do they repair the body and put the soul back to be awoken? Either way Eir took the body so that the person can at least have all of their stuff back! XD
I will answer that when i post later tonight works being difficult

The Master Wand -
Whether through a divine spark, intent, or just plain luck The master bonded wand can sometimes siphon spells from other wands created without stealing the spell itself.
This extra magically energy can manifest itself in a few ways. Its gathers 1d4 charges a day and can hold up to 15 charges.
It can fire a beam of pure magical energy from it as a ranged touch attack range 60 feet 1d10+int bonus damage for 1 point of charge.
It can fire a lance of pure magical energy from it as a ranged touch attck that hits all enemies in a line for 1d10+int bonus for 3 charges.
It can be used to fuel a spell with greater power by spending 2 charges per point of higher casting level for up to three levels. (so 1 level of higher casting level is 2 charges, 2 levels if 4 charges, 3 levels is 6 charges)
Finally it can used to store as many spells within it as there are charges, however a stored spell takes away from it maximum ability to hold and it can hold up to a level 6 spell.
SO for instance if you had a level 6 spell stored into it, and a level 4 spell stored into it if could only hold 5 points of charge for its other abilities.
These are the special abilities added to what the bonded wand could already do Eliah

The Right Arm of Torag -
The Magical arm radiates powerful magical energies. Due to the nature of its construction it provides the 'wearer' an AC bonus of +2 like a shield. (This actually stacks with a shield as well.)
It can be configured in a two ways (to start with)
The Fist
It can be used to make an Unarmed strike (user is considered proficient) and counts as a +4 magical lawful silver/cold iron weapon.
It can store two kinds of spells in it.
Any spell that is offensive in nature up to level 3 can be released upon a successful hit. The spell is not lost, it just takes 2d4 rounds to recharge.
(The arm only holds the last spell cast upon it)
Any spell that is defensive in nature up to level 3 can be released as a swift action. It lasts for 10 rounds after which it takes 1d4 hours to recharge.
(The arm only holds the last spell cast upon it)
The Hammer.
With a few hours of work, the fist of the arm can be removed and replaced with a solid adamantine head. The wielder can use it as a weapon. It counts as a Igniting +4 Heavy mace but it deals 2d6 points of damage on a successful strike and has a critical modifier of x3.
When configured as the hammer the wielder is considered as proficient in the feat Improved Sunder, and the feat Sunder Blessing.

Dont worry about purchasing anything at all you will see :)
Gul gra-Dushnikh - Would you consider your orc to be violent? barbaric? What sort of Alignment are you going for? I have something i think pretty cool planned for your death if you dont have a major idea, but the kicker is you definitely die unarmed without your axe for reasons that will make sense when you are called.
(you know being the wielder of a soul sucking axe that takes your soul if you are weilding it when you die would stink.)
TheNine |
Soulbinder -
This oversized axe is Gul’s most prized possession. Passed down from mother to daughter, this axe has taken the lives of countless victims since its creation. Family legend says that it attaches to the soul of the wielder, and that when given it shares the strength of the previous owners. The axe was given to Gul when she proved that she was strong enough to wield it in battle.
Soulbinder is made of a very rare metal called Noqual. Noqual looks like a pale green crystal to the untrained eye, but can be worked as iron despite its appearance. Noqual is light—half as heavy as iron, yet just as strong. More importantly, noqual is strangely resistant to magic. An object made of noqual gains a +4 bonus on any saving throw made against a magical source.
Weapons made of noqual weigh half as much as normal, and gain a +1 enhancement bonus on damage rolls against constructs and undead created by feats or spells.
The souls of the dead matrons reside within the wicked looking axe searching for conflict eternal. Since its awakening the Axe functions as a +3 Cruel and vicious Butchering axe.
AS a full round action the weilder of the weapon can call upon one of the souls trapped in the axe for aid. Depending on what ancestor answers the call depends on the aid that is recieived... and whether or not the soul is able to break free of the axes pull.

Oh my on the arm.
Glad to see that you're back though.
Edit* I don't need Armor when your arm gives a +9 Shield Bonus to AC.
Slight edit on your arm. in fist mode you can wield a weapon in it just fine (or punch away my friend) but in order for the shield bonuses to stack the shield would have to be wielded on your meat arm side.
Gul gra-Dushnikh |
Gul is violent, in that she is a devout worshiper of Gorum. It is her belief that death is inevitable, and as such is not to be mourned. All that one can do is go out in a way which pleases a god enough to earn a place by their side as an immortal servant. She seeks...or sought...out battle without fear of death and never had any tears for the fallen. To do so would be to show weakness, and there was nothing worse than that. She saw her Bloodrager powers as being a gift from Gorum and proof of his favor.

So I suppose...cold, amoral, violent, and devout.

If you would like help formatting your character sheet, let me know Eir and I'll be happy to lend a hand.
By the way, what is an Azlanti Trueblood? Never heard of that race before.

Looking over my axe...yay! Better saves and it is brutal. Some questions.
The souls of the dead matrons reside within the wicked looking axe searching for conflict eternal. Since its awakening the Axe functions as a +3 Cruel and vicious Butchering axe.
Viscious does 1d6 force damage to Gul. Gul has DR 6/- when raging. So am I correct in that if she uses the axe without raging, she takes 1d6 force damage. But if she is raging she takes none? Because if so I’m quite happy, and it will be a good use of 3 Feats. Especially as it seems fitting to me that being in a battle rage would insulate her mind from the damaging mental effects of wielding the axe.
—-
I’ve also taken cornugn smash, to make use of the cruel enchantment. Free action to demoralize whenever she hits someone, with +28 Intimidate when raging. So she should be able to make use of the enchantment fairly often.

...working on leveling up ZigZag. Sad that Dragon Style combat feats only work for unarmed attacks, not natural attacks. Since he starts out with multiple natural attacks and natural armor, I am assuming Improved Natural Armor and Multiattack feats are fair game, though.

Feral combat training
Requires Weapon Focus as a prerequisite. But if you have claw/claw/bite, then you’d need to burn 4 Feats. And assuming dragon fury, that’s another 2 Feats.
Lvl 1: Weapon Focus Claws
Lvl 3: Weapon Focus Bite
Lvl 5: Feral Combat Training Claws
Lvl 7: Feral Combat Training Bite
Lvl 9: Dragon Style
Lvl 11: Dragon Fury
Lvl 13: Improved Natural Attack
Lvl 15: Improved Natural Armor
A 1 lvl dip in Scaled Fist Monk would get you dragon style, Cha to AC, and you’d also get flurry of blows, which would work with your natural attacks. Thus giving you Bite/Bite/Claw/Claw. It doesn’t stack with Haste, though.
Jasper the Red |
@Gul gra-Dushnikh:
Thanks for the advice. That would be a sweet build, but he is really planning to focus around his tail spike attachment, so the idea will be to do full iterative attacks with the spike (counts as a light martial weapon, haste would go towards that attack) and the bite/claw/claw (or bite/claw/claw/wing/wing in dragon form) will all be secondary natural attacks.
Gul gra-Dushnikh |
Sounds like a fun build!
GM, any chance you’d allow him to take https://www.d20pfsrd.com/feats/racial-feats/martial-versatility-combat-huma n/ ?
Natural weapons are really feat intensive, and this would open up a lot of opportunities

You would be correct in that while raging she would be protected from the axes self harming tendencies. :)
