Igar The Terrible |

Drazmorg has been the cause of all of the problems in this adventure path. When he entered the lower level it was occupied by kobolds. They were driven out and up and this lead to Crown of the Kobold King. Drazmorg raised the dead king which led to Revenge of the Kobold King. The breaking of the seal released powerful negative energy that affected living and dead for miles. That is what started this module.
You know nothing of this book.

Ranok |

Reflex: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20

Niu |

Niu heals himself once more, drops the wand and pulls out his wand of Molten Orb.
Without even a hint of a giggle, he proclaims, "One way or another, this needs to end."
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
----
Ziera takes a step away from the storm and fires twice more. "Come down here and fight honorably!"
Bow,Bless: 1d20 + 8 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 8 + 1 = 21
Damage?: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
Bow,Bless: 1d20 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 3 + 1 = 5
Ziera drops the useless stick she has been plucking at the strings of and hurries toward the hallway.

Ranok |

Ranok picks the disrupting dagger back up off of the floor and moves back to the entrance with dagger in his left hand and greatsword in his right. He intends to drop the dagger, as a free action, so that he can use both hands in any AoO that comes his way as a result of Drazmorg moving through his area. Not sure if the rules address a situation like this or not, but that's what he wants to do.
"This will be your tomb necromancer."

Niu |

Ziera rushes to pick up the wand as Niu launches himself into the air again, chasing after Drazmorg and activating his wand.
Ranged Touch,Fatigued: 1d20 + 6 - 1 ⇒ (7) + 6 - 1 = 12
Miss?: 1d100 ⇒ 53
Damage?: 2d6 ⇒ (2, 3) = 5 and continuing fire damage for 1d3 ⇒ 1 rounds

Ranok |

ref: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23
Ranok will laugh heartily as the necromancer catches on fire. Pointing The borrowed dagger at the fiery ended, he will fire off another disruption, while hanging onto the sword just in case.
disrupt: 1d20 + 5 - 2 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 5 - 2 + 1 = 81d6 ⇒ 6
Looking at the dagger, then Drazmorg, Ranok thinks about his grappling hook and rope that is in his pack.

Ranok |

Ref: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10
Not realizing that he was still standing in the middle of the thundercloud, Ranok begins to feel the electricity course through his body. Before it is able to fully enter his body, a white light washes over the electricity, allowing him a split second to contort his body out of the current.
Lessons of Chaldira (religion) Trait: 1/day reroll a failed save.
Ref: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 17
"Ha! That was a close one!"
Ranok pops off another disrupt before retreating into the hallway in order to exit the thundercloud.
disrupt: 1d20 + 5 - 2 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 5 - 2 + 1 = 91d4 ⇒ 1
In all the excitement, he forgot to try his grappling hook idea. Maybe next time.

Niu |

Niu circles back around to the hallway, then pauses, examining the entryway.
Quietly, he muses to himself, "The seer mentioned that we should seal him in..."
He studies the corridor and the entryway, hoping to find a weak spot, but without any knowledge of engineering, he isn't very confident in his abilities.
Perception: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (16) + 9 = 25

Niu |

"I doubt time will do anything to him. Eventually, Tar-Baphon will likely take over his mind and maybe make him even stronger.
Collapsing the tunnels and locking doors will slow him down, though, and give us time to recruit more help. We can also warn people about the broken seal."

Ranok |

Ref: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18
Ranok looks at the silver melting off of the morning star at his waist.
"Yup. Time to go. We can come back latter after I Learn how to fly!"
I don't have any scrolls or potions left to burn or burst. My clothes might look a little more primitive.
Ranok will withdraw.

Niu |

After Rhen leads the party to the nearest weak spot, Niu again studies the section and confers with Rhen.
"Do you think we should just start hammering here? I don't have any explosives."

Rhen Vemsa-b |

Rhen has taken you to the top of the stairway that leads to the lowest level. Hand on chin, looking up and down. "This here pillar is holdin dat keystone deyer. Dat keystone hold the wall and the ceilin in there. We take dis out, she give way. Some o dat wall above it liken to come down too. Be dangerous work. Won't be no returnin fer him neither."

Niu |

"Returning for him simply requires a teleport. There are other spells that would work even easier.
That is one of the things that worries me. If he has the means to communicate with the Whispering Tyrant, he could very easily be taught these spells.
Perhaps we should simply lock the doors and block them. It is amazing how easily a copper piece hammered into the hinge area of a door can keep it from opening.
We can rest in the safe room and quickly return to town. I can summon mounts for us. With proper equipment, we can deal with Drazmorg easily and end this now, without sacrificing any of our lives."

Ranok |

Frustrated at having to leave the undead creature in the crypt, Ranok looks at the choke point. "So we lock, block, and baracade the doors here and come back when we learn to fly?"

Niu |

"I was thinking of better spell preparation and the purchase of ranged weapons, perhaps some magical ammunition.
Or... one of you can start banging on columns and hope we can dig you out of the rubble. Those are your options.
I prefer the first, but I'll let you decide, Ranok. It won't be my life regardless."
---
Ziera steps forward and lays a hand on the first column Rhen pointed out. Holding back tears, she stammers. "Give me a big hammer and I will do what needs to be done. Maybe this will make up in some small way for the slaying of innocents."

Ranok |

Ranok shakes his head at the thought of ranged weapons and magical ammunition. "I can't hit the broad side of a barn. A potion of flying, or air walk, or something like that would work better for me. Don't know that I can fly any better than I can shoot either though. Ziera, we don't need to go sacrificing anyone just yet. Let's try plan B first."

Niu |

OK, so we:
1. Go by the safe room and make sure we take out everything that might lead Drazmorg to the next seal.
2. We make sure the safe room is locked up again and remove the candle we used to open the statue.
3. We trigger the switches that close and lock the doors
4. Rhen uses Disable Device?? to brace the door so that it won't open even if unlocked.
5. Climb ropes or whatever to get back above ground.
6. Did we have horses? I forget. I have a couple of scrolls of Mount, if we need them. We race back to town as quickly as possible.
7. Roleplay with the important people in town and head to purchase supplies

Niu |

Fair enough. Can we fast forward to the point where you tell us if we make it through the night alive?
We'll set a watch schedule, naturally. Niu only requires two hours of sleep.

Igar The Terrible |

Falcon's hollow is 30 miles through forest and another 24 miles of road lead up to it. Be sure to consider this when planning your trip.
Sunrise, Neth, Starday. Three days after the New Moon
Sunrise: 6:31am, Moonrise: 9:26am, Sunset: 4:40pm, Moonset: 7:34pm
High 42, low 35. Partly Cloudy.
Rhen is diseased
Rhen 61/65, Ziera 59/72, Ranok 85/85, Niu 24/42
The daggers will do.

Rhen Vemsa-b |

Niu |

I really don't remember if we had horses or not. If not, I'll memorize Mount a couple of times.
Before deciding what spells to memorize for the day, Niu sits down with the staff and attempts to determine its properties again.
Spellcraft: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (1) + 15 = 16
When he is still unable to figure it out, he chooses Identify as one of his spells for the day.
Identify: 1d20 + 15 + 10 ⇒ (13) + 15 + 10 = 38
Was there anything else we failed to identify?

Niu |

That is pretty awesome!
"Rhen, you're looking a little green. Let's see if this staff can get rid of whatever it is that ails you."
Remove Disease: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14

Ranok |

"Up the well and back to town then? We came down on ropes, didn't we?"

Niu |

"Let's go then. I can't make it so you can walk on water again, so I guess you'll need to swim."
Niu start flying and flies up to the top of the cliff over the lake.
-----
Ziera steps into the water and attempts to swim over to the rope.
Three rounds of swimming to get to the rope?
Swim: 1d20 + 2 - 3 ⇒ (15) + 2 - 3 = 14
Swim: 1d20 + 2 - 3 ⇒ (20) + 2 - 3 = 19
Swim: 1d20 + 2 - 3 ⇒ (18) + 2 - 3 = 17
With little issue, she reaches the rope and begins climbing. (Mwk Agile Breastplate, so no climb penalty. Oh, it is Mithril as well, so the penalty would be 2 better on those Swim checks)
4 move actions to get to the top, I think that is 4 climb checks
Climb: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19
Climb: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21
Climb: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12
Climb: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3 -- No progress
Climb: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6

Ranok |

"huh. Too tired to swim. I'll follow Rhen."
climb: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21
climb: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7 "Whoa!"
climb: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10
climb: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11
climb: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23
