Eskanii - Not sure what you mean. I assume you don't want to create an android ... the only other option would be to give it to someone or trade for it. There is a Boon Trading thread in the forums.

The PFS credit for this game is going to my Android PC. I was asking for suggestions on her build, but I finalized last night (Lawful Good swashbuckler android with Skill Focus Engineering: i.e. data)

Hi All. I want to apologize for my absence. I went away with my family for the holidays and the expected wifi was not present. Additionally I have had a couple of events happen in my life that, happily, are now resolved for the best. I have custody of my kids which is great and they are enrolled in school (the school year here runs January - December).
Then the outage with Paizo and here we are.

@GM Ietsuna re: Create Pit - Eskanii was concerned about the usage - my general philosophy for spells like this is they are useful for battlefield control - i.e. splitting up the enemies into smaller, easier to handle groups. I don't use them in very small, confined spaces as they tend to grind things to a halt. I also find them annoying and generally unneeded against single opponents unless their melee attacks are overwhelmingly strong.

@GM - I've an unassigned language from a point in Linguistics at level-up. Is it possible I would be able to find someone to teach me Androffen?

Scrapwall is very, very basic. There are no shops since the inhabitants either steal or scavenge what they need. I will allow you to scavange some bolts.

In terms of Androffen, no-one in Scrapwall can teach you, but someone in a larger city could. Can you hold off until you are in a big town next?

Feat: Combat Reflexes, to enhance that nice Enlarge Person spell Ezir has been casting on me! :)

Disruptor: At 5th level, for any foes in a Numerian liberator’s threatened area, the DC to cast spells defensively increases by 1. The DC increases by 1 again for every 5 levels thereafter (to a maximum increase of 4 at 20th level). If the barbarian gains the disruptive rage power, the two abilities stack. This ability replaces improved uncanny dodge.

PS: I don't need the +1 studded leather as my character actually had switched to breastplate a while ago before we started book 2. Let me know if I can get my sword enchanted.

I'll put the rank in Lingustics now and just learn the language when someone is available to teach it.

Main things I added on level up are spell focus(conjuration) as it's a prereq for the full summoning chain of feats and a new exploit: Quick Study.

Ezir, I will look through town and see if anyone friendly has a spellbook you could peruse.

Take it from me: I've suffered from severe GM burnout before. NO NEED TO APOLOGIZE WHATSOEVER!

The remedy: don't force yourself to follow the script to the letter. The players will be FINE with whatever you feel like offering.

If you want to skip to the boss, do so. If you want to skip an entire Part of an AP book or even an entire AP book, do so. This is 'campaign mode' and a lot of people forget this is not 'PFS Module mode'. Campaign mode allows a GM to run the game any way they see fit with any home rule or style they want to.

A GM is sometimes his own worst critic. Most players are happy to just roll dice and don't expect an adventure to be followed like it's some kind of holy text.

I'm with Eskanii on this - do what you can and please don't ever feel guilty for not making it for however long you need. I'm happy to play whenever you are up to it and available.

Agreed. This is a hobby and is supposed to be fun, not a burden. With Outpost games, I have no shortage of other games at the moment. I'm happy to resume this when you have the bandwidth.

I asked GM Ietsuna if he's interested to do a GM swap for the rest of this book (he'd play my PC, and I'd run the rest of Book 2).

However I want to know if you guys would be ok with this first. Keep in mind that this adventure is heavy on dungeons, which means slow grind in PbP, so if I run this I would be subject to skipping or fast forwarding several parts, based on my determination of whether you'd be able to cakewalk through some of these encounters.

Let me know if you would be ok with this.

Hey everyone. I haven't heard from Ietsuna and to be honest I'd rather not assume the GMing of his game unless he'd stay with us as a PC. So until I hear back from him, let's put this game in the freeze bin. Take care out there and be safe.

Can we get chronicles for this?

We need to finish the book or at least the sanctioned bit to get chronicles. I'm not sure that we've done that yet.

All, I am sorry that I disappeared. I have had some mental health issues. I have double checked and am willing to fast forward us to the sanctioned part of book 2. It is toward the back right of Scrapwall.

Give me a couple of days to get a post together to get us there and we can move forward if you are all on board still.

@Ietsuna, please take the time to make sure you are ok. I understand and sympathize that there is no simple fix for things like this having gone through similar things myself.

That said, if you are ready, I'm excited to get back in.

I'm in no rush for chronicles and would prefer to play through the AP book without skipping forward. Will also be happy to play along with the group consensus if it differs from my view.

Ready for those sanctioned parts Ietsuna! I don't mind doing the boss battle for each book even... campaign mode is a wonderful thing like this: you can run any part of the game any way you want... you can even skip the sanctioned parts if you so chose. (Sanctioned parts only matter if you're running the module with actual PFS PCs in module mode)

2 weeks ago I decided I wasn’t going to play this game anymore (Pathfinder). So I'm for the Chronicles.
