Take 10 on Kn(Religion): 10 + 10 = 20
These look like poltergeists, unquiet dead likely created by the construction of this city atop their graves.
GM Ietsuna
Ok, so are you pushing forward, are you stopping to check more closely one or both of these rooms?
Eskanii
If the poltergeist have not seen us, Eskanii will sneak to the south room with the open pods first to make a search there...
GM Ietsuna
Eskanii sneaks to the southern room and begins to look around.
Two of the pods are broken open, and the remains within are now only crumbling bones, but in the other two pods, the bodies stand in strange clothing with bubble shaped helmets on their heads. From the shapes of the suits you can tell that one is male, the other female— both appear to be human, yet of an unknown ethnicity with dusky skin, reddish hair, and delicate features.
Eskanii
Eskanii notes the strange creatures in the pods and backtracks slowly to the hallway to explore the last room to the east, keeping to the shadows and remaining quiet.
GM Ietsuna
The eastern half of this room is a tangle of gray metal, strange engine parts, and rubble, all of which was subjected to great heat long ago, judging by the metal’s melted and scorched surfaces. Here and there, softly glowing residues are caked onto bits and pieces of the metal.
Eskanii
Eskanii does not touch this weird stuff and backs away, returning to the party to report her findings. "Ok, I think we should scrap the undead in the north room. I found nothing in the other rooms except two well-preserved corpses in metal and glass coffins to the south. How about you three put out your attacks first, then I'll step in between to lay into them and give you all time to reload?"
GM Ietsuna
I'll just wait to see who goes first to attack or if you elect to just leave them be.
Eskanii
To the west, the wall is partially crushed and melted, leaving a five-foot-wide, two-foot-tall gap that opens into another chamber beyond.
Sorry Ietsuna: I missed the info above when I first read it... can Eskanii go explore there instead of attacking undead? thanks!
GM Ietsuna
Eskanii moves through the collapsed section. Here she finds a shut door Unlike the rest of the wreck where the doors are all open this one stands shut. She reaches out a hand to try the door but it is locked.
Eskanii
"Barlespin! your particular set of skills is required here please!"

~~BOTTING BARLESPIN~~
The frogman gets up there and tries to open the door:
Disable Device: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (2) + 10 = 12
After 2d4 ⇒ (4, 3) = 7 rounds he takes a quick drink break and tries again:
Disable Device: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (4) + 10 = 14
After 2d4 ⇒ (2, 4) = 6 rounds Eskanii fully hydrates the grippli with copious water, and he tries again:
Disable Device: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (12) + 10 = 22
And again:
Disable Device: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (2) + 10 = 12
And again:
Disable Device: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (6) + 10 = 16
And again:
Disable Device: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (1) + 10 = 11
And again:
Disable Device: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (16) + 10 = 26
GM Ietsuna
Going to have Barlespin take 20 on the DD check
After a significant amount of time Barlespin hears a click as the lock gives way before his skilled hands and lockpicks.
Esk, I am going to leave it to you to determine your actions here. Opening the door or whatever.
Ezir Ligaku
Ezir puts a hand on Eskanii's shoulder, whispering in his ear. Don't you want to at least peak in before you charge heedlessly and possibly die?
Eskanii
"Doubt is what kills most people... of regret and old age!"
Eskanii charges in.
GM Ietsuna
Eskanii pushes the door open. For a moment she sees a dried, desicated corpse sitting in a chair until the air from outside hits it and the corpse just crumbles into dust. As the dust is falling something rises. A dark shape with two flickering eyes.
[spoiler=Initiative] Barlespin: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
Morgan: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (12) + 9 = 21
Ezir: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8
Eskanii: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6
Enemy: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (16) + 9 = 25
The shape floats toward Eskanii and swipes at her.
Melee Attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13 Damage 1: 1d8 ⇒ 7 Damage 2: 1d8 ⇒ 3

RAGE!
+1 silversheen falchion, power attack, two-handed, furious focus: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (12) + 11 = 23
magical slashing silver damage: 2d4 + 14 ⇒ (4, 4) + 14 = 22
=============
AoO as it was rising from prone, if allowed: 1d20 + 11 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 11 + 4 = 18
magical slashing silver damage: 2d4 + 14 ⇒ (2, 4) + 14 = 20
Ezir Ligaku
Ezir moves in and peeks through the door at what Eskanii is slashing at.
Kn(Religion): 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (13) + 10 = 23
It's a wraith. It's incorporeal and undead, need magic to hurt it.
Ezir pops her Magic Missile Wand from her wrist sheath and fires one off at the wraith for 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4 force damgage.
GM Ietsuna
Eskanii swings at the wraith. Her sword connects but slides through doing some damage, but nowhere near what she feels it should.
Ezir fires a magic missile and it hits to undead further damaging it
Wraith has taken 15 damage
Barlespin
Barlespin, outside the door because he picked the lock, his eyes shimmer with violet energy and a shimmering force field of purple light begins to glow around him, as he moves into the room with his spiked gauntlet.
Cast mage armor to get AC 19, then moving into the room - triggering attack of opportunity, I assume. Don't know if you get flanking on a wraith, but if so, you've got it now.
