Before you do Flint: While the door seems safe enough to open, Bel's sharp ears pick up on a heavily muffled noise from the other side of the door. There's a chorus of snarls followed by a muffled command of some kind. As she listens, she gets a sense there's multiple beasts and a single individual directing them.

Having made your preparations, you touch the door and open the way. The massive chamber beyond is brightly lit by a ceiling that glows with images of red-orange flames. The center of the room is dominated by a large sunken area a few steps down, which contains a padded space and several training dummies. In the north east and north west corners, force fields hold back a group of four tashtari each. You notice that next to each force field enclosure, a wall panel is set up to allow raising and dropping the enclosure's field (marked in green). The central training area currently has a trio of four legged beasts with lizard-like haunches but tiger-like torsos and heads. Their manes glow with flame. A single ifrit in light armor and with a whip in hand stands at the southern end of the room overlooking the training of the beasts. (Handouts updates with a few pics)

The ifrit looks up immediately as the doors open and gives a cheery smile "Oh, it's the guests. Here for the show I assume?"

School Spirit is a 30ft radius spread, so it can't cover this whole room due to its enormous size. Where do you want to center it? Note that its a close range spell, so you may have to move in somewhat to place it.

Flint evokes his Plasma Sheath and erupts into cold/holy fire! His eyes flare with photonic power as he speeds into the room in a Stellar Rush. Accelerated quickly by the haste spell, Flint reaches the nearest Vahdu (red) and slashes with his scimitar.

I think one of those two spots by those steps would probably be best to catch the critters as they advance towards the door, which looks to be about 20 feet away, just at the edge of close range.

Ordyt's rush down the stairs ends with a momentous pair of stabs that skewer the first of the vahdu through the neck. It falls the moment Ordyt pulls out his blade. While Sammad offers encouragement, Mari fires at the next vahdu in line and lands her own blast.

The ifrit clicks her tongue and the remaining two vahdu pounce in unison. While they slash and bite at Flint, the ifrit asks "You're very far from home. Are you sure you're supposed to be here?" Two of the fiery beasts' claws get past Flint's guard (Dealing 22 and 17 damage after DR).
The ifrit follows by dashing to the side and toward one of the tashtari cages. She flicks her pistol out as she goes, flashing a cheeky grin as she fires at Mari. The sudden arc of electricity catches Mari off guard (dealing 16 dmg after resist and leaving her off-target).

Bel closes with the ifrit trainer, who ducks under the first swing before being struck by the second. While the trainer spins back to get some distance (avoiding AoOs unfortunately) the two vahdu continue to follow their last command, putting everything into tearing into Flint with their claws. He dodges and deflects each attack and emerges unscathed.

Meanwhile the trainer sends a sudden jolting shock into Bel's leg, catching her off guard in the process (41 dmg, plus flat-footed). She eyes Bel and the others before theatrically tearing up "Why are you doing this to these poor kitties? You're all too horrible."

We will be missing Ordyt for the next two weeks-ish. I think we can at least finish this combat before taking a short break for him to return. One of you remaining folks please bot his character.

Bel gets in past the trainer's guard and imparts a dangerous jolt of electricity. The injury does not dissuade the trainer though, who rolls past Bel and up to the force-field access panel. She presses her thumb up against it and lowers the field on the east side of the room, freeing one pack of tashtari in the process. She whistles an insistent piercing command to the pack.

In the center of the room the remaining vahdu claws at Flint, getting a single shallow slash in (13 dmg after DR). The tashtari alpha and its pack rush Ordyt and Flint on the stairs. While the lesser laser wolves are more an obstacle than a real threat, the tashtari alpha releases a blinding muzzle flash.

She mutters another spell and slides her hand down the length of her junksword, causing its shards to begin vibrating against each other, then she swings it at the trainer again!

If I hit, she can't take reactions for one round.

Flint fells the remaining vahdu with a cleanly aimed icy strike, but Bel has more trouble with the trainer, who ducks under the vibrating junksword with relative ease.

Is Ordyt capable of curing his Blindness through spell or medicinal he picked up? I could see him taking a guarded step away from the foes and getting rid of the blindness.

On a quick scan through his sheet, I don't see anything to treat blindness. Interestingly remove condition handles a lot, but not blindness.


Blinded, Ordyt stabs twice in the direction of the creature who just blinded him (purple outline), then he steps away using the benefit of haste, trying to shake the spots in front of his eyes.

(Two attacks vs purple with total concealment, then guarded step to the south)

Full attack with get ‘Em and estoc: 1d20 + 15 - 4 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 15 - 4 + 2 = 27
50% Miss chance 01 to 50: 1d100 ⇒ 81

Mari continues her assault, now switching to the leader of the tashtari pack.

Despite being blinded, Ordyt proves uncannily accurate, landing two fine strikes upon the leader of the pack. Mari follows with her own shot from the other side, almost taking down the alien hound. The pack in response surges around the two in the south, most of its minor members serving as a distraction as the alpha darts in and out, biting at Flint. Its jaws snap around his legs twice (11 and 12 dmg after DR) before he can defend against it.

While the tashtari distract some of party's members, the trainer withdraws northward, tapping the door open with a touch. Mari and Sammad hear her muttering "Bloodthirsty pigs. All these good beasts going to waste."
