The gunslinger laughs loudly, boldly, at the arrows whizzing by his head as he remains untouched by the onslaught. Shaking off the momentary fear that the Soothsayer's interference brought, he clicks his heels (turning off the boots' powers & relying on Ka'atib's magic instead). His hands do their deadly trick, reloading faster than seems possible, keeping his gun hand true.

With the devourer no longer operating as a distraction, Riegel unloads on the baykoks. The baykok hasn't given up, and so it moves backward 5ft... which (botting for Zan'Kul) sees Zanny step up into the space. It takes a chance at putting an arrow into the warrior, which he takes advantage of...
