Riegel's keen eyes find all the best places to grab hold of and, after conferring with Lazlo, it becomes clear that there's a pattern to Round Mountain's movements. It's not clear why the mountain moves, but it's enough to move forward through the tunnel. When the ratfolk hesitate, Ka'atib's magnetic personality and glib tongue give them the courage they need. As a group you move forward.
The ratfolk lead you deeper into Round Mountain, into a cavern with a chasm and bridge at the center. "It’s not far to go," one of the ratfolk says. "But be careful. The mountain’s erratic movements have probably shaken loose dangerous creatures. Keep a lookout."
Map updated. Roll20
In an orderly fashion you all move forward, heading towards the bridge. Fortunately, the bridge itself is illuminated by torches. Unfortunately, the mountain is still moving occasionally and the drop is easily 100ft. As you reach the bridge one of the stalagmites on the other side... starts to move!
A huge eye opens in this conical creature’s front, just above a toothy mouth. Long strands of fibrous material whip from its sides. Knowledge Dungeoneering to ID. DC starts at 22. Come ready with your questions.

Ulysses recognizes this creature as a Roper. Ambush hunters capable of altering the coloration and shape of its body, a roper in hiding looks remarkably like a stalagmite of stone or ice (or in low-ceilinged chambers, a stony or icy pillar). He knows that they respond normally to weapons, and are not particularly agile.

Gathering moisture from deep within her loins, Katya draws forth a terrifying display of blood-tinged water that swirls around her in a powerful vortex. She lets loose a torrent of water at the roper.

With the roper defeated, you proceed to the Pagoda of the Rat.
This seven-story structure is the ratfolk's stronghold and seat of power at the center of Round Mountain. You're quickly taken to speak with Krella, a druid and the leader of the ratfolk.
"Thank you, Pathfinders, for your help in bringing the scouting team back and clearing the way," Krella speaks in a whisper. "While we wait for the repair team, I must caution you. We ratfolk have many eyes and ears in the tapestry. Your old enemies, the Aspis Consortium, have poisoned many of the tapestry’s people against you, but I sense that something far more sinister lurks just out of reach. Someone—or something—is at work in the tapestry, and has taken great effort to remain hidden. I fear that this is just the beginning of our trouble."
Reward: The PCs unlock a special boost option for the Share Knowledge Aid Token.

With your work at Round Mountain completed, you head towards the Muckmouth...
The Muckmouth is the cavernous home of the Muckmouth lizardfolk. The caves and their inhabitants were accidentally transported into the tapestry when Hao Jin extracted her intended target—a network of serpentfolk ruins. As you arrive at the caves, you are greeted several guards. Recognizing Pathfinders, they usher you in.
The Muckmouth tribe's caves are dry but littered with the bones of cave-dwelling fish. In the central cavern, a small band of bedraggled lizardfolk watch as their ancient leader limps forward. Long strings of tiny bones dangle from her armbands, clacking on the stone floor. "Welcome, Pathfinder friends. I am Oosthic, and I remember my tribe's debt to you for rescuing our eggs and our home. We must call on your strength once more. Our water has vanished. Without water, the Muckmouth grow weak. Many have perished seeking water in the ancient ruins beneath our home. The ruins are crumbling, and the living dead slither from the walls. I fear the serpent empire seeks vengeance against the Muckmouth for disturbing its ruins, but we had no choice. Destroy the undead and secure the lost magic of the serpentfolk for our tribe. The Muckmouth must survive!"
Any preparations you want to do before going? If not, I'll keep us moving.

As a group you move forward, picking your way through the foliage that has overgrown an old path. You're expecting to find trouble. And trouble eagerly awaited you.
Though covered somewhat by crumbling walls, you catch glimpses of three dead abominations. Two of them appear as thick tangles of discolored entrails clinging to a lurching skeleton’s torso, and the third is a desiccated figure wearing linen wrappings and tarnished jewelry. Its humanoid body is topped with a withered crocodile head.
