In regards to crits. Yeah, I can never get good rolls when I want them. But, sure, as GM I can roll 3 crits before we get to the third page. Makes sense.

I have been trying to update the gameplay since yesterday morning. My work computer crapped out. Then I couldn't get the page to load on mobile. Then I got pulled into a meeting. This morning I kept getting errors on mobile. Finally, I am back to work and my new computer has permitted me to post.

Going forward, whenever we are in an encounter, I think it might make things easier if everyone puts the round # and their initiative count at the top of each post in OOC.
So it would be something like:
Merius recognizes that he's quite weak. He feels a growing frustration knowing he's not terribly helpful with striking foes. He knows he has a connection to Erastil, but also has neither prepared spells, nor has a holy symbol. Seeing his new allies at stake and the very dead man on the table, Merius runs to the grappled foe and adds his weight to the grapple.

Going forward, unless otherwise noted, all of the rooms have stone walls covered in cracked and chipping white paint. Ceilings are approximately 10 feet high. The light level is dim.
I considered cutting the map into quadrants and dispersing it among 4 different slides. In the end, I decided that I'm going to trust that everyone is able to keep ooc knowledge separate.
Since it is such a large map, I've increased the size quite a bit. You all should be pretty easy to locate.

Hi everyone, I wanted to apologize for my absence Friday and over the weekend. I had to rush out of the office Friday because my wife was extremely ill and couldn’t care for our 3 month old by herself (she’s freelancing from home at the moment). I ended up spending all weekend taking care of both of them. I have updates coming.

At this point, I think it's safe to assume that Maria has dropped out. 20 days is far more than enough time to post or send a PM and more than I had ever intended to allow someone to go silent. Honestly, had I not been slammed all weekend I would've put this up earlier.
I hope everything is okay with FranticGM irl but, I can't keep stalling the game in hopes that an absent player will pop up again.

Hey, just dropping by to say that I haven't had any updates from him since my last message. I do believe (and hope, since he's a PC in one of my games and the GM in one that I'm playing) he'll be back, but can't really say when.
I can stand by for a good while
I just wanted to elaborate on what exactly happened to me in Sept/Oct.
I was in a fairly bad car wreck which left me with 2 cracked ribs, and a bunch of bruises. I reached out to GM Omelas and asked that GM let my games know that I would be back in a bit. But, as it turns out, the doctor at the ER missed the fact that I had a broken tibia as well. Other than some bruising, you couldn’t tell by looking at my leg that anything had happened. So, after a little over week of telling my wife that my left leg was not feeling any better and was starting to feel worse we finally got a doctor to x-ray my leg. Well, they had to rebreak my leg since it had already started to heal some.
Fast forward to the end of December and I’m feeling better. But then, my 6 & ½ month old son starts breathing erratically and his O2 levels are way low at night when he sleeps. (We have him wear a pulse oximeter.) Turns out, he had such a strong cold that his congestion was keeping him from breathing properly and he had to hospitalized for a few days.
Needless to say, I was straight up not having a good time. Other than sit around and watch TV, I really had no desire to do much of anything.
Now, however, bruises are healed, ribs are healed, and my leg is still broken. But pretty close to being healed ( I hope.)
Hopefully you all will see this. If not, I can always message you all individually. No biggies. Both tables of players are great and I'd love to see these games through.

I'm sorry that sounds like a really tough few months! I know the stress that poor health can cause, and I can only imagine having an ill young one at the same time.
I'm happy to resume. I was very sad when the campaign seemed to fizzle out, but hopefully we can get enough people back :)

I haven't been checking Paizo forums religiously, so it took me a few days to see this. I've stalled on basically all my other PBP interactions, but I am happy to keep checking again if this game is active again.
I did really like Merius's design and would be happy to get back to him if we want to continue the game.
I'm really sorry to hear about your difficulties and I know how scary it is when your little one isn't well, but thankfully have never had that along side my own personal health crisis. I'm glad to hear you're feeling back on the upswing.
