Made a few small tweaks after seeing the rest of the party. Putting in some more knowledge skills and some stealth / disable device to boost rogue lite capability.

Merius is here! As a Cleric, Merius is rather deficient in skill points, but at level 3, he'll be picking up a Sage familiar, so don't worry too much about stacking into Knowledge skills you didn't want to pick up.
About Merius, I wanted to play into the Samsaran's theme of past lives. His knowledge of his current life will be rather dismal. He remembers his name, the city he grew up in, but little else. He knows he's a Cleric, but cannot remember any of his training, or who he worshiped. Instead, his loss of memory has strengthened a connection with a notable past life of his where he served Erastil, and now his been blessed with another chance to serve and redeem whatever ills he may have been a part of.
I'm going to ask for some GM leeway here, where he wouldn't have owned an Erastilian holy symbol or Longbow, but we'll have to find these things somewhere along the way.
Build and further details in the profile. Merius is built around getting to go early (especially as time goes on) and set the terms of combat.

Sadly the art from Faiths of Golarion doesn't appear to have made it into the avatar selection yet, so this one will have to do.
As a paladin she doesn't have many skills, but I went with Knowledge religion as she's a follower of Tsukiyo and I wanted to reflect that, and because I'd like her to get the deific obedience eventually. Diplomacy is her other adventuring skill because she is charismatic and likeable. For the background skills I put a point in linguistics but I'd love it if she's forgotten what language it is that she knows (I believe she gets both common and Tien for free), and the GM can tell me at some point when we encounter some. How weird would it be to realise you can read some strange text and not remember learning it?
My thinking is that she wakes up remembering her childhood and adolescence, doesn't know how she went from the kind and empathic teenager she remembers to a heavily armed and armoured (I'm assuming!) warrior.
I imagine that she found a group suffering from mental illness that she tried to help, and discovered it was caused by some outside influence and tried to fight that. Perhaps later she dedicated herself to battling the influences of dark forces that corrupt and twist minds, but shes forgotten all that since and has this disconnect between tranquil young woman and the warrior who fights with furious focus. She might even have lost someone dear and fueled her strikes with that pain, but have nothing to draw on now.
Hopefully the story will eventually show her that she's not as different now from who she was as she thinks, but perhaps it will show her that level 1 characters are squishy instead :)

The character's big personal mystery (that I'm leaving in the GM's hands) will be what happened to his arm. Was it sacrificed in the construction of some blasphemous engine? Where did the replacement come from, did he build it himself?

I'm ready, I just made a couple of changes to starting gear (added a potion of cure light wounds, some meditation tea and a masterwork backpack to carry everything round in).
I hope our reaction to a "waking up" with a goblin isn't too harsh!

It was a great way to start, really evocative, and quite chilling. It must have taken a while, especially with two tables!
It's why I pushed the start time back. Not to reveal anything behind the curtain but this: "All around is a wall of sickly yellow fog, tumbling through the alley’s canyon...hungry wave" is how the AP opens and I just felt that it was too abrupt.

I can't seem to send you a PM(perhaps because your account is new), so I have to ask like this.
I think there is potential for some good RP between our characters, If you're up for it. Now, dwarves are traditionally racist against goblins (its in their statblock, after all), so I think it would be entertaining if my character started off dismissive of yours, only to grow more accepting, even friendly over time. Kinda like how Legolas and Gimli barely tolerated each other at first, but became bestest bros by the end.
We don't have to do this at all, of course. Just thought I'd get your consent before I start throwing epithets, lol.
I'm sorry that it started to drag there at the end of the opening sequence. I really wanted to drive home the horror and helplessness your characters would feel.

How does this work with Alchemist abilities? Do I have extracts prepared (because they are like spells), or do I not have any (because logically they probably require reagents to prepare). Same with bombs, do I have the stuff to make bombs because its a class ability or is that all gone because it was taken with my equipment?
