Name: Zach D
Character Name:Eramos
PFS # 133462-21
Initiative: +3
Perception: +14
Normal or Slow: Normal

Class and Levels Unchained Barbarian 9

Biography:

Enslaved at an early age, Eramos' life was not easy. He started as a stable boy taking care of horses and other farm animal. The manual labor made him strong. The beatings and the harsh treatment from the stable master made him resilient.

Once he turned 15, his owner found more use for him, and this once could make a profit. The fighting pits on the outskirts of the city. Even though it was posed as a temple to Gorum, it was really just an arena where fights to death were held, and coin could be made. Here is where he learned the ways of Gorum's fighting techniques and where he learned to harness all the pain and torture he had endured and unleash it on his opponents. He liked it. The more he won, the less he was beaten.

Three years down the road, he had won multiple fights and elevated the status of his owner. He had grown tired of his life. He would fight, train and sleep. Eramos wanted his freedom.

One night, he had brought this idea up to his owner. This was a mistake. The owner had the stable master and a couple of his guards take him to tree near the forest. With his hands lashed around the tree, the stable master proceeded to whip him until he could barely stand. Once finished, he was left there. Most likely to die.

When he awoke the next morning, he was still bound to the tree. No matter, this would give him plenty of time to be alone with his thoughts and begin to formulate a plan.

Around mid-day, the stable master and a single guard came back. Foolish. The stable master went around the tree and cut his hands free. He collapsed onto the ground in a heap. The guard laughed and rough grabbed him by the arm to hoist him up and placed Eramos' arm around his neck to begin to carry him. Mistake. Eramos grabbed the sword from his back and ripped it out of its sheath. In a quick motion, he ran the guard through all the way to the cross guard. The stable master hollered and ran around the tree. unfurling his whip as he came. Eramos pulled the sword free with a jerk and raised it. The whip snapped through the air and connected with Eramos' sword arm. Even being tired and bloodied, Eramos was still stronger than the older stable master. He grabbed the whip with his free hand and pulled it free of Stable Master's hand. He quickly closed the distance and landed a cross body slash. His long time tormentor dropped.

Once all was quiet, he took what he could from the guard and stable master and fled East, towards Andoran, a free country.

Over a course of month, he learned how to survive on his own. Traveling through Whisperwood and crossing River Iseld. Once through the the wood, he came to the Sirium Plains where he joined up with a traveling merchants group headed toward Andoran. The Merchants did not mind, after all he was strong and willing to offer them protection.

Once this job was complete, he started looking for more work, and this is what got him in league with the Pathfinder's Society and Liberty's Edge.

That was actually pretty fun, never did a bio like that for a character.

Scarab Sages

Good background, I like it.

Sovereign Court

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Name: Matt Morris
Character Name: Morrighan Jennings
PFS Number and Character Number: 48019-
Initiative Bonus: +1
Perception Bonus: -2
Normal or Slow Track: Normal

Classes and Levels: Skald (Battle Scion) 7

Biography of your character:
Known in Taldor for her reputation as a "fixer," Morrighan was personally recruited by Gloriana Morilla to join the Sovereign Court. She's taken on a series of hand-picked projects over her time in the Society; she specializes in encouraging cooperation in the teams she's a part of.

Morrighan doesn't talk about her past much. She's never felt really at home in one place; she spent her youth moving from town to town in southern Taldor. The itinerant life of a Pathfinder is perfect for her, and she lives to bring just the right skill or spell to bear on a tricky situation.

I have other characters in tier (including for high tier), but Morrighan is the only one in Sovereign Court. I'm willing to change if people want to play high tier.

Silver Crusade

Name Garmon
Character Name Eorsten
PFS Number and Character Number 195819-3
Initiative Bonus +3
Perception Bonus +8
Normal or Slow Track normal

Classes and Levels Paladin 8

Biography of your character:
Eorsten was born in a wealthy family of Korvosa in the Varisia Region from a young age his father instilled a ferrea discipline and a code of honor that pursued honor and justice and that should be implemented to eliminate the suffering that plagued to the world.

These deep-rooted ideals made him approach the temple of Iomede and ask permission from his father to start. His perseverance and physical qualities made him not only a simple acolyte but was instructed to be one of the Paladins of his faith. From his initiation, I look for meaning in his life until Janira Gavix crossed his path and recruited him as an agent of the Pathfinder Society, which he has represented as best he has known in the different scenarios he has known.

All these hard battles have earned him the nickname of the mark due to the various scars that cover his body and proudly leads his sacrifice towards the cause of good.

Sovereign Court

Got a game in on Morrighan in real life, so she is level 8 now. I'll have her character sheet up to date soon.

Grand Lodge

So few 7-11 games this Gameday... so, though this one looks like its trending lower tier, I'll put my name in regardless. =)

Name Aaron
Character Name Milo Flamecursed
PFS Number and Character Number 84637-3
Initiative Bonus +4
Perception Bonus +15
Normal or Slow Track normal

Classes and Levels Gnome Sorceror 1 / Wizard 9 (Level 10)

Biography of your character See 'Background's Background' and 'Background' in profile.

Milo talks almost entirely in slang... so he's hard to understand sometimes. It's intentional.

Grand Lodge

Still only 4 folks expressing interest?

With so few 7-11's this Gameday, figured there'd be more.

Scarab Sages

It is because they scurry to the specials :(

Sovereign Court

Well, there are also people like me, who don't push to play PFS much. This character is 1 module from "retirement." But I kinda want to make it in tier, ya know?

Too many people too eager to jump into these games means the in tier stuff filled up before I ever looked.

<shrug>

Grand Lodge

Hey now, if you joined, we'd suddenly be in tier =)

Currently, its 8/8/9/10
An 11 puts us at APL 9 ... which jumps us into the upper tier (with the four player adjustment)!

Problem solved! =)

Scarab Sages

Milo has a point. :P

Sovereign Court

Well, if you haven't REALLY looked at the character, Giovanni doesn't do much damage. But he doesn't let the bad guys do much, either. He is full-on battlefield control. He decides who can stand, where they will wait until it is their turn, and who is allowed to have weapons.

Critters with lots of legs, lots of size, and natural weapons really frustrate Giovanni.

Not what most people expect from a grunt in PFS.

Name: Jhaeman
Character Name: Gurkagh
PFS Number and Character Number: 238544-2
Initiative Bonus: +2
Perception Bonus: +7
Normal or Slow Track: Normal
Classes and Levels: Shaman 8* [He's Level 7 right now, but I'll be playing him in a live game on Sunday that will take him up to 8]

Biography of your character

Gurkagh is a good-natured, rather dim shaman from the Realm of the Mammoth Lords. He's easily influenced, and goes where either the spirits or someone who seems like a leader tells him to. But his innate kindness wins over a lot of people who just can't help but like him. Gurkagh never carries weapons, instead fighting with whatever happens to be around--a rock, a cooking pot, or a tree branch.

[Gurkagh has a Chronicle from a previous scenario that makes him a Baronet in Taldor and gives him bonuses when interacting with nobles and commoners! It was a pretty funny boon considering the character.]

Grand Lodge

And still high tier, with 4-player adjustment... assuming Giovanni joins in.

Scarab Sages

Mathematically correct.

Classes and Levels Fighter 11

Biography of your character As a young man, Giovanni fell in with a bad Varisian element, where he fell into the role of enforcer. He spent a few years in the role, learning ways to convince people to pay that didn't require harming their ability to continue making money for his superiors.

He was eventually instructed to join the Pathfinders, and continue engaging in the Scarzani's "good works" within that organization. He was happy to do so, but he discovered that his skills had a slightly different use within the Society.

The Pathfinders wanted him to keep the mission specialists alive so that they could do their jobs. When the Pathfinders "cleaned house" and pushed the Scarzani out, Giovanni stayed, absolutely enjoying his life of saving other people from harm.

These days, he figures that if he can keep things attacking him, then they aren't attacking the mission specialists. If he can distract the opposition, keep them engaged long enough, the others can accomplish whatever the Society is asking of them at the moment. He has spent a lot of time on the ground, but so far the others have picked him back up, and he hasn't lost a single agent on any mission he's taken.

His missions have varied wildly, with him continuously seeing only part of many larger quests.

Scarab Sages

Alright, with that we are now marked as full. I will get some of the preliminary introductions done in Gameplay in a few days here.
