Zso slashes out at the jinsul close by, further injuring him with one of the blows.

M'shak continues to confound the jinsul in orange weakening it further with the sonic pistol.

Bluu's singing disk also works its discordant tune against the jinsul in dark blue armor. While you might not like them, you have to give jinsul credit for being tough.

Sho then grants Bluu and Zso the speed of the grave to help them send their foes on their way to his mistress.

Goose pulls a nice trick on the orange jinsul but his pistol's bullet is deflected by the jinsul's armor. He too has an Abdarcorp provided haste rune. Quickly touching it the pistol spits death, and drops the jinsul in orange.

Bugface moves to let the alien spacefarers through, sending off another shot of Bugface's own, which misses badly.

Toward the front of the ship, the jinsul in light blue armor explodes in a ball of superheated steam. This catches his ally, Bluuu and Zso. His ally attacks Bluu with its leg blades but again has no luck better past Bluu's defences.

Supernova! 21 fire damage to Zso and Bluu, ref DC15 for half

Meanwhile at the other side of the ship, one of the jinsul fires at M'Shak, and the other at Goose. M'Shak can't avoid the blast and feels the cold intently.

Grunting in pain as the fire scorches their flesh, Zso glares at the Jinsul Solarion and clenches their fists. ”Want to play scum? Then let us play!” he spits at it in Jinsul as Bluu advises on a retreat. Feeling the energy build up, Zso finally lets it free, sending a wave of fire out.

As the energy flows out across the deck, Zso ceases to glow and they spin on their heel, using the magic enhancement to allow them to zip after Bluu.

The Jinsul avoids Bluu's attacks, although the same cannot be said for the barathu, who takes a light wound as he withdraws.

Zso does his own explosion, catching the jinsul in light blue armour full in the chest. The Jinsul's burning strike at his behind as he pulls back burns the Solarian badly.

Bugface's exocortex plots an expected path for the jinsul in red... which it dutifully follows. Talk about a work of art.
Lining up his shot the mechanic dutifuly pulls the trigger at the appointed time.... causing the jinsul in red to sprout even more red as it collapses.

That is, assuming jinsul have red blood, oh well.

Sho meanwhile sees to some of the worst of Zso's injures.

The creature in pink waves its arms again, either in anger or some other sign of contempt.

The jinsul in light blue rushes forward toward Sho, obviously unhappy about his good work being undone. Sho now understands first hand some of the pain that Zso experienced.

The other one also closes in, also waving its arms in the air.

Meanwhile the crew hover near the edge of the wing, seeing the Honorbound getting closer and closer... A ladder extends, conveniently near two large scale weapons.

Sho steps back to heal Zso

M'Shak messes with the mighty jinsul's armour, which seizes up at just the wrong moment. Pressing the activate stub on her sonic pistol sends the body hurtling back into space, driven off the starship by the force of the sonic assault.
Though how sonic weapons work in a vacuum is beyond me.

Sighing in relief as Kesk’s healing hands soothe their charred skkin, Zso analyses the position they are in. Turning to the refugees of the Kreiholm, Zso indicates the Large ship that has pulled up close and the boarding ramp stretching out. ”That is our Vessel, please make your way across so we can get you to safety!” he pulses telepathically in order to prevent the Jinsuls from overhearing.

Hoping they follow orders, Zso begins to glow once more, though this time with the dark purplish energies of Gravitonic force. Seeing the Jinsul in pink is able to freely target their allies, Zso moves in front of Goose to defend the Ysoki, drawing their Chalram as they do so. Then with focus, they hurl the spinning disk at the Jinsul in Pink.

Chakram vs KAc, Pink: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (6) + 15 = 21 for Magic, Slashing Damage: 1d4 + 14 ⇒ (1) + 14 = 15

Then, holding out their hand, the Chakram vanishes from it’s landing place and re-appears in Zso’s open hand. Called Fusion

The jinsul close to Bluu fires quickly. He misses, but the other fires back at Buface, freezing the shirren for a moment.

The crew cross over to the Honorbound, as more Jinsul pour onto the surface of the ship.

That's a good idea. Keskodai isn't likely to hit with them anyway. Should be someone with a decent attack modifier using them.

Bugface kicks off towards the ladder, hoping that Bugface can catch the rungs. Bugface enjoys travelling the stars but only inside the safety of a ship. Bugface isn't so sure about floating freely into the vacuum.

M'shak wings the jinsul in dark blue armor, who now looks in a bad way. Goose takes the opportunity to make him look even worse. Dead worse.

Sho retreats a bit, while Bugface does likewise.

The jinsul open fire on Goose trying to remove the troublesome operative. They wing one of his images, which blinks out, an annoyed expression on its face.

With supernatural haste, the starfinders pull back to the Honorbound as dozens more jinsul swarm out of the hull of Kreholm's hope.

Meanwhile the Honorbound pushes gently away, careful not to knock you off your precarious hold on the hull. Magnetic boots are useful, and there is no atmousphere for drag, but the amount of debris in this area of space is significant. Two of the crew take micrometeor hits before you manage to get inside.

Once you are safely inside you quickly head up to the bridge, where you hear Yuluzka cheering as the gunners take out a final jinsul pursuit ship. All around the tide of battle seems to be turning, with the majority of jinsul ships blown to smithereens by the battle-scarred Freehold Armada. Captain Yuluzak safely directs the Honorbound out of the fighting zone.

Speaks Forgotten Words indicates telepathically that it eagerly wishes to converse with you all.

I would have you meet with the Kreiholm Freehold’s governing council. It would seem our policy of isolation is not longer viable...

To cut a long story short... you drop off Speaks Forgotten Words. He gives you an 'invitation' - a small egg shaped chunk of polished sapphire.

You have some time in the Drift on the way back to Absalom station to think through your ventures. Once back however you are quickly ushered into the office of Luwazi "What did you learn? Did you meet their leaders?" she asks. "Iteration-177" she adds "Cannot be with us at this time."

Goose enters Luwazi's chambers for the meeting. He's happy to see everyone fully restored and somewhat rested. Those jinsul are a nasty bunch. He looks forward to confronting them and hitting them where it hurts.

As Luwazi opens the meeting and asks the questions, Goose offers this:

"We met a wonderful leader of the Kreiholm Freehold named 'Speaks Forgotten Words'. He invited us to meet with the Kreiholm Freehold’s governing council. He went so far as to say that the Freehold would likely abandon their policy of isolation in light of the terrible jinsul onslaught." offes Goose. He continues by describing who and what they saw during their adventure, both on the planet and on the ship they boarded.

"Oh, Speaks Forgotten Words actually gave us this." says the tiny ysoki as he shows Luwazi the small, egg shaped chunk of polished sapphire. "Apparently this is the invitation!"

The barathu shakes himself and turns towards Luwazi. We met with one of their leaders at least. He calls himself 'Speaks Forgotten Words'. A gaseous creature, but there are multiple other species in the system.

A system that is under attack. Bluuuuu taps his comm unit to bring up and display the details of their encounters. As we arrived the jinsul we already striking at the Freehold. We were able to evacuate some of them, with Yuluzak's support, but the system may have been further attacked in the days it took for us to return.

Having returned to Absalom Station, Zso attends the meeting in fine business attire in the latest Castrovellien fashion, having sent their custom armour for repairs after the scorching suffered by Jinsul blades. The Lashunta listens to their comrades reports and nods to support their words. Once Bluu has finished, he turns to Luwazi, taking a sip of a bright red liquid from a long necked glass.

”All true, all I would add is that the Honour-bound were the perfect allies and it would do the society wonders to keep up an alliance with them.” he states, taking another sip. ”This Freehold looks promising too, I look forward to discovering more about them.”
