Hello Sentients!
You should know that there are 2-3 reserved seats at this table. They've been reserved for cool people, some of whom are new to PBP. The rest of the seats will be filled with -- well, potentially, you. I reserve the right to pick characters any way I want to for this game. I might pick them to balance talents at the table, or just to get players that I think might be good with a group with a significant number of new players.

If I can get my partner to join, I'll be playing Ziamat (Dragonkin, which means he has a bond) and he has only played 1-1, so that would be his favorite adventure. Ziamat is a soldier

Who are you, and what do you have to offer the party? I have some options, depending on what the team wants/needs:
Smek (Op2 (Ghost)), brings stealth and tech skills. He’s a free-lance corporate acquisition/retrieval agent. Light-hearted and somewhat reckless.
Baròleg (Env2 (Steward Officer)), social skills and tactical support. He’s committed Steward partnering with the Starfinders through a training/exchange program while the Starfinders work to bolster their ranks. He’s serious and focused.
Akkedis (So2 (Shock & Awe; Forerunner)), brings combat and support skills. A Veskarium warrior with basic commando training. He’s proud of his people/history, loyal and somewhat gregarious.

Smek, meet him at a fancy dinner party where Smek and others were trying to impress the guests. Smek was able to make a great impression on Zo!, and found him overall distracted but highly amusing.
Baròleg and Akkedis, never met him. Baròleg would not care for his brand of reality entertainment, Akkedis would be indifferent.

What's been your favorite SFS Adventure with this character, and why? No particular favorites, each character is fun to play and I’ve had solid groups so far. The highlights above capture some of the more fun moments.

"Salutations, Designate Hmm and other Not-Yet-Verbally-Designated Starfinders. My designation is The Analog Affair. This is the twelfth iteration of this chassis. Please ignore the Besmaran holy symbol on my face. A previous iteration included a follower of Besmara, apparently. Data is unclear. I generate credits finding wayward criminals for the authorities. 'Dead or Alive'. I am augmented and equipped for the violent application of force. Thus I specialize in the former. I find it is easier to manage non-functioning chassis for bounty collection purposes."
The circuitry pathways along The Analog Affair's face glow and flow for a moment.
"I have met Zo!, although I found his designation needlessly semantically difficult. Why place an exclamatory mark after your own designation? I am uncomfortable shouting your name with enthusiasm every time I wish to reference you. My prior experience, discomfort with his designation aside, was acceptable. He was admirable in his ability to distract a crowd with his enthusiastic speech. He makes for a good public entertainer."

"I found Designate Radaszam more to my tastes. He appears to share my preference for analog answers to problems, rather than Zo's information modification and opinion alteration techniques."
"If at all possible, I would prefer to discourse more fully with Iteration-177. His experiences as a long-existing android chassis intrigued me. My fellow Starfinder Designate Xxivk and I interviewed him extensively for Xxivk's vid series 'Drifting Across the Universe.'"
"It is good that we disarmed the bombs during the First Mandate excursion. An explosion would have terminated Designate Xxivk's vidcast series permanently. 'Boom. Show Cancelled.' Ha."

Boy howdy, have not done much but its been a ride! I would haf' t'say it was finding an pre-gap dwarven forge. Though it was tainted with greys but got that all cleaned out. Also found out what happened to ol'Avaldur. Boy Hilda was so excited about that!

Deger Skyhammer. I started hearing the Liavaran Dreamers a few years ago and it's caused me to be a little more thoughtful than I used to be. That don't mean I won't smack someone upside the head what needs it though. Usually folks expect me to heal them up after they do something stupid."
Deger is level 1 and the one scenario he was in so far was played at 3-4 subtier. Suffice to say he had a rough go of it. He was in
and having almost been killed a couple of times once it was time to drop down into a certain tunnel he still volunteered to go first because he's that kind of guy. So of course he got hit with a trap that knocked him down a 60 foot shaft and nearly killed him. He still got up and fought with his friends because, again, he's that kind of guy.

I have played 1-05 with a different character. The most memorable thing from that is actually from a different scenario. I'll explain. Spoilers below
I did that scenario with a fellow who decided to try disarming one of the bombs despite the fact he had a poor engineering bonus. It blew up in his face. In the next game I played he was also a player and we played the same characters. He mentioned attempting an engineering check and my character dove across the room to stop him.
This will be the first time I've played Degar in pbp so not yet. I will by game time.

Anxa, do you have a special boon that let's you take 20 on day jobs? Just asking, because I am genuinely curious. I'll admit that I haven't looked closely at all the faction boons out there.

I am hoping that once GenCon is over we can get all three of my reserved seats to check in, but they're likely to be swamped until that convention is over. Our three reserved seats for this one are Linda Zayas-Palmer, Isabelle Lee (aka Kalindara), and Joe Pasini. If one or more of those names is familiar to you, that's because all three have written adventures for Organized Play, and two of them are Paizo employees. Linda is the main PFS developer, and Joe has developed several awesome rulebooks and the SFS beginner box.
Linda has played in our PBP Gamedays in two separate conventions, but both Isabelle and Joe are brand new to the format. All are funny, wonderful people. So I hope that you'll all be welcoming to them and help get them oriented once August comes around!

"I am Rose-5. I am fascinated by electrical systems of all sorts. My assistance regarding such systems is superior to the average new Starfinder agent. I am also above average with laser-based weaponry, though I am below average in hand-to-hand combat. The one you see above me is Spinning Falcon. He is my best friend. He is a skilled marksman." "Modifying a racer to run more effectively was an interesting challenge. I was surprised that what we did was not considered to be 'cheating'"

"Zo is entertaining. When people talk about him, sometimes they say his smile is unnerving. I do not understand what they mean. He displays his teeth fully, which means he is happy."

"Radaszam told us that another Starfinder agent made incorrect assertions about her skill as a mechanic. We then helped her win, which was not cheating because Radaszam said it was not. Radaszam also said that she should go to the bottom of a trash compactor, which I did not understand. I thought it was to scavenge for better parts, but when I informed him that trash compactors are not a good place to find workable material he said 'never mind'. And then he said that she should stay in the Starfinder Society so I suppose I changed his mind."

I have some unfortunate news. I regret to inform you all that we will have to postpone Gameday VIII by 2 weeks.
This would place our new dates for Gameday at: 09 Sept 2019 - 17 Nov 2019
WHAT IS GOING ON? WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS?
As most of you are aware, the majority of the GM’s have not received their scenario support for the Convention to include a good portion of the Specials. With Tonya occupied by other duties this weekend, we realized as a team that we are very unlikely to see the remainder of scenario support drop by Monday the 26th. Multiple avenues were discussed and what seems to be the best solution is to push Gameday back by two weeks. This will allow enough time for the GM’s to receive their scenarios and prep them.
BUT WHAT IF WE ALREADY HAVE OUR SCENARIOS, CAN WE START THEM?
Please hold off until the new start date to be able to eligible for your boon rewards. I understand this is a large inconvenience, we are doing everything we can to make this work. Part of that is to have everyone one the same start / end times rather than scattered.
We apologize for the inconvenience that this may cause, but we want all our GMs to have a chance to shine.

I'm Tyus, a half-elf from Castrovel who is a HUGE fan of all Pact Worlds media. I've even spent time learning a lot of languages so I can watch broadcasts in their original tongue (subs > dubs!). I'll bring Zez'ka! My enthusiastic, chipper shirren, who always ends up in horror scenarios. She's hopeful this mission contains much less death and dismemberment than her previous missions! "Hopeful!"
Zez'ka is a shirrin with brown colouring and sparkly blue compound eyes. She wears well worn, practical clothes and armour, and carries a big knife, and a semi-automatic pistol holstered on her hip. A few healing serums poke out from her pockets, but the backpack over her shoulder looks practically empty. Curiously, she has long brown hair growing atop her head. Whether it is a genetic anomaly or a wig is unclear. Her antennae often twitch and quiver around in excitement or anticipation and she's prone to exclaiming her feelings aloud.

Hey all, we've had another death in the family. What a year this has been. :/
