Very weird. Okay, duly noted.

I’m on my way to do some camping for a few days. I might be able to post like I am now but using the map through the app or website rarely works on my iPad. I decided to have Varis try to scout the hallway to the south. How often do you want to roll stealth checks?

Elise Wardyn |

Just a heads up, I'll be out camping for a few days myself and unable to post until Saturday.

I'm on holiday for the next week but it shouldn't greatly affect my ability to post - we're expecting rather a lot of lounging around in the sun with lots of free time. Figured I'd give a heads up, just in case.

Yes, thank you. Back to the top. Sorry about that. Also, going away to Disneyworld until the 5th. If I am in your game, feel free to bot me. If you are in my game, we will pick up at that time.

I'm really having a hard time staying focused on this game. I'm going to give it another couple of weeks to get everybody back from the holidays, but am leaning towards dropping this game. Others thoughts???

Varis Matrel |

Haven’t seen posts in any four of my games for a while. I’d assume it’s the holidays and give it a bit too.

Although the ball is more in our court than the DM. Who votes for back tracking south and who votes for going east and I guess North is the only other way. My vote is for south.

Kertak |

I’d go for south too.
In terms of the bigger question, I’m also struggling with the slower pace (but would like to persevere since it was part of the attraction of this game). I will admit I find roll20 difficult to use well I think. I keep losing the map in a big haze of black...

Roll20 is useful, but I often find it a pain to go logon... mainly cause I'm really lazy XD
Edit: I'm also good with south.

RE: Pacing
I'd like to say that it will improve, but the truth of the matter is it won't. I don't remember if I mentioned it, but my wife is legally blind and I serve as her eyes. In addition, we both work for a local convention that takes up some of our time throughout the year (particularly in February/March). Top that off with trying to run a face-to-face game every weekend, and you get not a lot of time. If it is too slow for you, I fully understand and you will be missed.
RE: Roll20
Undermountain is a BIG place, with lots of empty corridors and more than a few empty rooms. One thing I can do, if you folks would prefer, is switch to using smaller tactical maps. That is to say, instead of using the big map (which will remain available, and I will continue to move you on it), I would use Google slides of individual encounter areas. This would alleviate some of the problems with Roll20. It's a little more work on my end, but I don't mind if it helps.

Hi Guys. Sorry, but I think I'm going to drop this game. I knew it was going to be slow going in, but once a month is just not enough to keep me interested. Thanks for the opportunity, and hopefully we'll meet up again on the boards.

I think that I'm going to call time of death on this one. People seem to have lost motivation. Sorry, folks. If I'm wrong and everyone wants to continue, speak up!

Elise Wardyn |

No, I think it's the right call at this point.

Kertak |

Im sorry for my part in not pushing things along.
I’m afraid this coincided with me moving cities. I’m in one other game and have been a bit lax there too, but the slower pace of this one made it easy to think “I’ll post tomorrow”...then find a week had gone by.
