GM Kevin O'Rourke wrote: As for the gold, there isn't but think of it as partly gold, supplies, materials and partly credit for things to order from the ship. Okay, that makes sense. It sounds like we have a week of downtime, and Heiek could trade those notes for Goods and Influence, and Knowledge (History) seems appropriate.
Day 1 - Goods: 1d20 + 7 + 1d6 ⇒ (11) + 7 + (3) = 21
Day 2 - Goods: 1d20 + 7 + 1d6 ⇒ (15) + 7 + (4) = 26
Day 3 - Goods: 1d20 + 7 + 1d6 ⇒ (16) + 7 + (5) = 28
Day 4 - Influence: 1d20 + 7 + 1d6 ⇒ (5) + 7 + (5) = 17
Day 5 - Influence: 1d20 + 7 + 1d6 ⇒ (15) + 7 + (2) = 24
Day 6 - Influence: 1d20 + 7 + 1d6 ⇒ (9) + 7 + (5) = 21
Day 7 - Influence: 1d20 + 7 + 1d6 ⇒ (2) + 7 + (4) = 13
So that's 6 goods and 6 Influence.
Also, I couldn't find where any of us ordered anything from the ship. I will spend some of that 2,200 "gold," though.
2 flasks of alchemist's fire (40 total)
The inks to add two extracts to his formula book (with Valto's assistance since he already learned them):
- Heightened Awareness (1st) - 10 gold
- Invisibility (2nd) - 40 gold
@Valto: you had mentioned making +1 initiative ioun stones, which sounds appealing. I'll put in an order for one! Let me know how much it will cost me.

Going to stick with a cost of 55% for crafting, if that's okay with everyone? Obviously exceptions will be made for critical stuff (like if you need to get something for breathing underwater.)
So costs should be:
Dusty Rose Ioun Stone(cracked, +1 init): 275gp
Belt of strength +2: 1,100gp
I can craft either in a day taking 10, just let me know if you are taking one so I can update my sheet.

55% is quite fair and I too would love one of each. :D
Right I'm currently in the process of moving so understand if things are spotty for a while. Compounding that paizo wont let me log in on my phone so I can't even do quick posts when out and about currently.
Adding in Belt and Ioun Stone now. Initiative is now +6.
Also I have a wayfinder, using method 2:
Does it do anything? 75% chance: 1d100 ⇒ 33 Yes, High or Low it works
Wayfinder: 1d100 ⇒ 78 Mage hand at will
Aquatic elf Arcanist(BF Trans) 4 HP (26/26) Saves (2/4/4) CMD (12) AC (18/13/15) Init (4) / Arcane Reservoir (3/7)
Everyones stuff should be ready before this adventure, had time over our last 6 weeks to have it all crafted.
Going to make a belt of Dex +2 and a handy haversack for myself as well so total of 10 days crafting.

Yep, looks like everyone went for ioun stone and a +2 item.
Actually, I forgot to account for an Ioun stone for myself, would be silly not to get one too so 11 days crafting.
Going to start sticking this all in a google sheet as well as downtime stuff so I can keep track of it, but between resourceful and my familiar I'm churning out 3000gp of work a day so I hope to keep up with any demand.

Ummm WHAT is that 50 ft fish the water????
Maybe this?
“A dunkleosteus is a massive fish with a bony head, armor plating, and a beak-like maw capable of creating a vortex that siphons in its prey. Despite growing to over 30 feet in length and weighing 8,000 pounds, dunkleosteuses are agile swimmers. These voracious predators think nothing of swimming into estuaries where the brine of the sea extends, lying in wait under piers or in the shallows along shorelines, patiently watching for a chance to lunge up and snap their jaws around unsuspecting prey that has come to the water’s edge to fish or swim.”

My wife is in public health, so she's working pretty much 24/7 due to COVID 19 stuff and a city-wide water supply issue here in Houston, so I'm pretty much single dad for a few weeks. I'll probably need to drop off for a day or two (like I did this weekend), here and there. I intend to catch up, but feel free to bot me if needed. Update: They closed the schools today through March 30th due to the community spread of the coronavirus. Next week is our Spring Break, so I've already taken the week off to watch the kids, but the week after that is still up in the air. Wife is still working crazy hours, children are still small and needy, but I should have some help from my retired mom occasionally. My youngest has really started acting out at school (we're assuming because of the drop in personal attention and an overall community anxiety that seems to be everywhere), so some time away from school may help her by giving her less she needs to rebel against and give her teacher a break. Anyway, I'll still be inconsistent from time to time.

- east coast of Ancorato
Waterfall cave (archaeological excavation) - (Carver)
- northeastern side of Ancorato in the foothills
Sunken Laboratory - (Carver)
- southern side of the island.
Crystal Monument - (Carver)
- island off Ancorato’s northwest coast
Ancient Observatory - (Carver)
- somewhere in the mountains of Ancorato (central part of island)
City on Ancorato/kill sea hag named Helekhterie - (Locathah)
- "several days" southeast from Locathah camp
Additional goals from Ramona: quarries, precious metals, lumber, friendly native inhabitants
We're at Joskadalr. We can:
1. head north to the Waterfall Cave, which could put us in position to do the Crystal Monument after that, or
2. head south to the city run by the sea hag, which could put is in position to tackle the Sunken Laboratory afterwards.
I don't remember, but I feel like some of us wanted option 2. I'm fine with either, but I prefer 1.

Grumbaki, Valera seems... less of an overachiever than your other PCs that I've seen. Which is totally fine, but I'm surprised. Is there a level that she's going to come into her own that you're working towards? Just curious.

It's how kineticist works... they keep ramping up. Every odd level that blast gets more dice, elemental overflow keeps increasing flat damage and eventually "size bonuses" to stats. Composite blasts, metakinesis, infusion specializations and infusions... they get very scary at higher levels. Very much single target damage a lot of the time but it's large bursts of damage, energy resistance even at higher numbers only helps so much.

Heh, glad to see that I’ve earned a reputation.
And yeah, kineticists really do ramp up. Lvl7 is when their damage kicks off, and lvl9 is when they come into their own. But the journey is what makes that power spike so rewarding.
In my game group I was the first one to bite the bullet and give them a go... in a gestalt game. Fighter/Hyrdokineticist... full BAB and extra feats for combat really help out.
GM Kevin O'Rourke wrote: In my game group I was the first one to bite the bullet and give them a go... in a gestalt game. Fighter/Hyrdokineticist... full BAB and extra feats for combat really help out. What archetype did you use? Gestalt Kineticist does sound like a lot of fun. :)
——
I had a character I a campaign that died which I really wanted to play. Deurgar Tyrant Elemental Annihilator Kineticist. Race gives Kineticist powers, class gives full BaB and blast.
Kineticist was just out so I didn't want to complicate things with an archetype to be honest.
So attacking? Saying anything else? This isn't exactly the most honest person you've spoken to.

Valera be reasonable... all locathah party!
Or better yet... all MONKEY GOBLIN!?!
Anyone ever be in a campaign like that?
Ruins of Azlanti as local Sahugain
Ironfang Invasion as a group of hobgoblins, securing the fangwood for the legion
Stuff like that. Replacing hobgoblin for humans in the descriptions...it seems to me like it might work, but haven’t heard of anyone trying it
