Atium originally wanted only one medal. But instead grabs two of the medallions, as he notices that two of them have animal emblems.
The first he grabs is an eagles head in profile. If the medallion has color to it, the emblem is probably golden in content.

GM Eagle Medallion:
Easivra is a sun god who has been largely forgotten in Golarion. He was worshiped millennia ago in the Mwangi Expanse in a city known as Jaytirian, together with his rival, the demon lord Vyriavaxus. He represented the glory and power of the sun, the freedom of flight, and majesty of birds of prey.

The other medal that he grabs is one with a Jakal on it. The Jakal looks a bit odd as it has 3 eyes.

Jakal:
Lamashtu.

Atium holds up the two medallions for others to see
Anyone know anything about these God's? These both look really bad ass and that they have character.

We also need to go somewhere productive. Can we get up higher?

Atium looks for stairs or doors that lead to more stairs.

Vanyan is getting impatient. "I think our *friend* in the portrait owes us another hint, after all this nonsense... we helped clean up a bunch of his master's rooms after all. Maybe in turn he'll make himself a little more useful."

Vanyan ponders whether they should bring all the keys along, just in case. Best to know which one to use, rather than try and carry them all, he supposes.

He shoos Atium and Aishe into the direction of the stairs while adjusting his new underpants which are neither chaffing nor riding up, but in danger of both.

Returning to the portrait, the image appears once again and smiles. "Oh you found the gloves, how fortuitous!" Vinas lays the several different keys out before the frame.

"Hmm." It stares down. "That is quite the conundrum. The Master always did like his puzzles. While I am unable to say which key it is I can help you a bit it seems."[b] The portrait looks to the three keys engraved with a standing rectangle and the numbers 1 through 3. [b]"The rectangle represents the exterior doors of the Manor." He then shifts his gaze to the six keys engraved with a semicircle and the numbers 1 through 6. "The semi-circle represents the number of balconies on the Manor." lastly he looks to the nine engraved with a right triangle and the numbers 1 through 9. "And those with the triangle are the eaves on the Manor." He looks back at you hopefully.

"Last time we messed with a door, we all lost years of our lives. Let's be sure we know what we're doing before leaping into that particular fire." Aishe hopes, though he has no idea how to make that happen.

When the portrait explains at least some general outlines of what they're up against, Aishe wonders, "Most of those doors are already open. Can they be locked? Do we need to lock some doors and not others? That seems silly." he grows a little frustrated at the puzzles, and the helpful-but-not-quite-enough painting.

He asks again, "Did anyone see keyholes in the eaves?" He goes to the nearest to check, and while he's at it, checks the doors in the area for keyholes - do they all have them?

Aishe heads outside to see if he can spot any keyholes in the eaves. Circling the manor he spots something curious indeed. The manor has 3 doors which match the number of rectangular keys. The manor has six semi-circle balconies which match the number of balconies, though looking over the manor it looks to actually only have eight eaves, despite its name.

    Apologies. The DC was 16.

Vanyan finds that the Nine-Eaves Key gives off a faint transmutation aura now that it has come within vicinity of the door.

    DC 18 Spellcraft (Nine-Eaves Key):

Once per day as a standard action, the bearer can touch the Nine-Eaves key to a magic item. For the following 24 hours, all Use Magic Device skill checks to use or activate the touched magic item gain a +4 insight bonus.

Not only that but Vanyan knows a thing or two about Wihsaaks. Namely their bodies are quite resistant to weapons unless they are good aligned. They are also resistant to cold, electricity and sonic effects as well as most spells. SR.

    Wihsaak:

Wihsaaks prey on the fear of creeping, crawling, and buzzing insects. Instead of whispering from the shadows, wihsaaks blatantly present their unnerving insectile forms to frighten and demoralize humanoid mortals.

Wihsaaks use their suggestion spell-like ability to coerce victims into terrifying circumstances and make them believe that their horrific actions are their own ideas.

Wihsaaks savor their targets’ fear, drawing it out whenever possible. When facing a group of enemies, wihsaaks don’t immediately attack foes affected by their fear effects, and instead try to frighten all possible enemies before delivering the killing blows so as to properly season their prey in terror. When these sahkils do finally attack, their claws rip and tear flesh as easily as paper.

Wihsaaks stand 7 feet tall, have a 5-foot wingspan, and weigh around 170 pounds.

The key unlocks the sliding door into the ballroom. Wooden pillars carved to resemble thin trees support the ceiling of this enormous ballroom. Stairs lead up to a balcony at the south end of the room protected by a wrought-iron railing. A low stage under the balcony contains benches and music stands. The walls are painted with misty forest scenes, each image featuring a clearing with a grave or mausoleum.

A gaunt creature stands in this room, wings buzzing behind it. A grasshopper serves as its head. Its arms split at the elbow, and its four claws grip a staff with a hanging lantern. This must be the wihsaak!

    Round 1, Init 20

Vanyan cautiously follows the others into the ballroom, longspear at the ready, but not averting his eyes. Intellectually, he mostly understood what they were about to face. But now that they're in the same room, and even without looking at the creature directly, he can tell it is *nasty*. He shivers in disgust - and immediately has a keen sense that the creature delights in his revulsion.
