[SFS] GM Berggen's SFS-01-01: The Commencement

Game Master Berggen

A Starfinder Society Scenario for level 1-2 characters, played with SFS rules.

Please post interest to join here.

We'll get started 3 days after we hit 4 signups, capping signups at 6 or after player introductions, whichever comes first.

Exo-Guardians

Interest! Thinking this level 1 or 2 Kish soldier, just need to add his stats to Paizo to make him PbP official.

I would be interested. I've never played an organized play/SFS game before, but I am fairly familiar with Starfinder itself. I'm thinking either an an exocortex mechanic or a technomancer for my first character.

Starfinder Superscriber

Both of these sound fun.

GameMasterZX, happy to help with getting you set up on organized play if you need it. Feel free to check out the Starfinder Society Roleplaying Guild Guide: https://paizo.com/products/btpy9vlp .

Still working on mustering. If a fixed start date works better I'm happy to go with that too.

Adding a signup sheet here.

Dataphiles

I will have this character join the game.

Dataphiles

Submitting this witchwyrd of questionable motives.

1) Player name: Lysle
2) Character name: Morvruul the Merchant
3) SFS#-Character#: 90900-713
4) Faction: Datapiles
5) Day Job: Profession (merchant), of course!: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (3) + 10 = 13
EDIT - Hmmm, I may end up using a GM reroll on that Day Job check at the end of the scenario. Don't want folks thinking that Morvruul is not good at his stated job.

Full Disclosure: I have run/played this multiple times via PbP (and a few in person).

I'm up for filling in holes the table doesn't fill.

Starfinder Superscriber

Looks like table is go, start date will be Friday, March 1st. Feel free to header over to the game play thread to dot and delete anytime.

Sounds good looking forward to playing. Like I posted on the sign in new to PBP so please feel free to correct me if I break any protocols.

Starfinder Superscriber

Looking forward to it as well Nikus :).

Quick FYI: Dot and delete means use the alias for the character you'll be playing with to make a post (usually containing just a period) in the game play thread and then delete it. That will make that alias show up in the characters tab of the thread.

The CastamirsFlaxseedStation campaign page has some good information on formatting conventions and some other useful advice.

Thank you, one more question what do I do to get my character uploaded?

OK I messed that up and entered my profile name not my alias. And now it will not allow me to enter the correct alias. Sorry not a good start to my PBP career.

Exo-Guardians

That's alright, that's pretty fixable.

If you go to My Account in the top right, then select Organized Play from the drop-down and sign in, you'll get taken to your Organized Play tab, where you can edit the character/forum alias in question. I'm about to do that with Gardam myself, need to get him an avatar.

Exo-Guardians

Alright, dotted!

Exo-Guardians

Thank you I think I got it figured out.
