Krakos moves in and around the corner pausing for a long moment, enjoying the ability to NOT see open sky for a bit and meditatively running the dust and stones through his hands in a relaxed, rather than his normal frantic manner.
Better he murmurs.

Ember carefully opens the door, once Storm has investigated it for traps. Within, they find racks of decorative weapons of all sorts. These are clearly meant as display pieces, but many of them would be quite serviceable as functional weapons as well. Perhaps the most interesting items are a pair of fine mithril bracers decorated with icons depicting air and images of djinni. A brilliant blue crystal floats in this room, just as you saw one in each of the other rooms.
You can find a serviceable example of any simple or martial weapon sized for small, medium, or large creatures.
These bracers are decorated with icons representing air, earth, fire, or water, and depictions of genies appropriate to that element. The item protects the wearer against hot and cold environments as if she were using endure elements The vambraces’ materials and other powers depend on their associated genie type.
Djinni: These mithral bracers allow the wearer to use gaseous form, invisibility, and wind wall each once per day.
Jamila the Janni |
"Fascinating--an armory of some sort," Jamila says. "This tower must have been an ancient fortification, but I can't fathom who built it or where they went. Well, spears and swords aren't going to help us put things right here. Let's move on to the next room."

Krakos follows the others. Upon seeing what appears to be an armory he mutters a few prayers to Ayrzul as he looks over the room with some interest and detects around the room for magical auras.
He stops and focuses on the bracers for a very long moment, then grunts.
Djinn. Of course.
Octaris, water mephit |
"Djinn? Djinn what? What do they do? Summon a genie?"
Octaris files around the armoury, looking over the weapons.
"Hmm. A wizard ought to have a staff... But no, I need to keep my hands free for my water magic! Besides, I work my spells with a wand."

You can gain the benefit of it each round. You can't, however, attack with it during the surprise round. My understanding of produce flame is that it's a standard to cast the spell, then another standard each time you make the ranged attack (you don't get a free attack as part of the casting).
Just waiting on a surprise round action from Krakos.

While others begin to cast spells, Krakos rushes in swinging his mace. With one powerful blow, the electricity seems to dissipate! The wind briefly intensifies, whipping through the center of the tower before it, too, disappears, leaving a palpitating 10-foot-diameter ring of hundreds of colors near where the tower’s roof once existed. He looks around for a moment as if just then remembering he is not alone.
One moment.
He steps outside onto the ledge and screams into the whirling wind in Terran, exulting the supremacy of Ayrzul. He pauses, then sets the holy symbol of Ayrzul on one side of the doorway and a small pile of stones on the other before returning to the others.

A large block of black granite hovers in the air, surrounded by floating chairs. It seems as if this stone was used as a meeting table at some point. All of the stone, in fact, looks like it would make a convenient anchor to align gravity to. Ember walks forward and sits on the chair.

The shelves of this library hover and hang from the walls at a variety of artistic angles. Each shelf contains a minor magical effect that directs gravity toward its back, both preventing the contents from tumbling out, as well as preventing the books from degrading over time. Most of the knowledge contained in the volumes here is esoteric and extraordinarily specific. Volumes with titles such as Breathing, Volume XI: Concerning the Respiration of Mephits and Fruit of the Forest of Oils: A Treatise on the Safe Harvesting of Unknown Alchemical Reagents Suspended in Water are common.

We should definitely visit! How often do you get a chance to do a thing like this, eh?"
Octaris excitedly flies towards the portal of many colours.
"Check the other doors first, won't you? But let's not dawdle!"

No time pressure. Taking 20 in each room doesn't reveal much. The only interesting discovery is in the room with the pipes sticking up from the floor. Removing each of the stuck caps releases scents stored below. These include a woody and fruity incense, the crisp smell of rain after a storm, the smell of a lightning strike, and a striking but not unpleasant smell that you have never experienced.

Casting from scroll of good hope. 7 minutes, 7 creatures. This spell instills powerful hope in the subjects. Each affected creature gains a +2 morale bonus on saving throws, attack rolls, ability checks, skill checks, and weapon damage rolls.
Additionally casting moment of greatness. All affected. 5 minutes or until discharged. Each creature affected by this spell is given the potential for greater success and glory. If the affected creature is benefiting from a morale bonus of any type, it can double that morale bonus on one roll or check, before making the roll. Once an affected creature uses this spell’s effect, the spell is discharged for that subject.
