Hi, everyone. This is a fun scenario where you have to play one of the pregenerated characters from the adventure. As you check in, please discuss which character you would like to play. The options are:
Ember, the fire dragon (pyrausta) bard
Jamila, the janni aristocrat
Krakos, the oread inquisitor
Octaris, the water mephit hydrokineticist
Ryhol, the thoqqua barbarian
Zephyr, the sylph druid
I'm looking into a way to get you the PDF of the pregenerated characters.

I'm good for any of 'em, so I'm happy to fill in around people's preferences.

I'd quite like to try the water mephit. I haven't played a kineticist yet, though I've been at a few tables with them and I think I have a feel for the basics. Also I plan on taking a mephit familiar with one of my characters :)
I think Noral is after playing Ember, judging from the signup sheet.

Okay Tim, I'm leaving you Jamila or Krakos.
Player Name: Cwethan
Character Name: Constantin the Azlant
PFS#: 182453-4
Progression: Standard
Day Job: None? Constantin has one, but my understanding is that I'd have to use Rhyol's numbers for this scenario, right?
| Octaris, water mephit |
Player name: supervillan
Character name: Malachi Malarkey
PFS number: 75577-7
Faction: the Exchange
Progression: standard
Day Job?: profession (merchant): 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (13) + 11 = 24 minimum result 75gp from Exhange faction slush fund boon.
A quick read of the Season 10 Guide suggests that we still get downtime and dayjob checks, but I'm not completely certain. Roll/boon included above anyhow.

Okay Tim, I'm leaving you Jamila or Krakos.
Krakos works, especially as I'm applying the credit to another inquisitor.
Player Name: TimD
Character Name: "Ashfeather"
Character #: 62037-19
Progression Track: Standard
Dayjob: if Ashfeather's then Profession-Deathspeaker: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16, if not, it does not appear that Krakos has any skills appropriate to a dayjob check

Hey everyone,
We're waiting for our last player to check in, and I also need some of you to make an alias with a header as requested.
Some of you have already done so. Please make sure your header fits on one line; some of your headers are far too long. I know it's a very nitpicky thing, but an overly long header makes me cranky. I don't thing headers need to have all kids of daily uses and things, they should simply be character name, HP, AC, and saves. Everything else can be looked up in the profile. If you have one or two extra things in there, it's not a big deal.

Rage stats mean 1 line might be beyond me, but I'll trim the header as best I can.

OK, I need to get you each a handout before we start (you are supposed to get them before the briefing), and they really are best kept private. Can you please send me an email address I can you to send you your handout? For the sake of keeping such things from falling into the hands of spammers, I would suggest using a private message to get your email to me. I will use the email you send me to get you your handout, and also to send you your chronicle sheet at the end.

Ready.
Player Name: GlennH
Character Name: The Storm Zephyr
PFS#: 11016-7 (Fleur)
Progression: Standard
Day Job: None?
My apologies, for some reason I was thinking I had to apply using a CORE character.
So I need to change the character number to a Standard.PFS#: 11016-15 (TBD)
| GM Redelia |
I'm sorry about the delay, and the slowness before that. This is not the standard I normally hold myself to. I have been badly distracted by a minor but very stressful real life crises, when I'm already tired and stretched thin by being 4 months pregnant. I can't promise to be back to regular posting starting now, but things should be starting to improve, and back to regular posting in just a few more days.

Hi guys, I will be on vacation for the next 10 days so please bot me as needed.
Thanks

New set of rules I need everyone to read and be familiar with before we move on:
SUBJECTIVE DIRECTIONAL GRAVITY
In most parts of the Plane of Air, each individual chooses
the direction of gravity’s pull. When walking on solid
surfaces, choosing the direction of the surface to be
“down” is relatively intuitive and does not require a
skill check. In midair, creatures with natural flight can
fly normally. Those without the ability to fly, or those
who would prefer to move faster, can attempt to set the
direction of gravity.
Once per round as a free action, an individual can
attempt a DC 16 Wisdom check to pick a new direction
for gravity. If she succeeds, she begins falling in that
direction, moving 150 feet in a straight line on the first
round and 300 feet on each succeeding round. If she fails,
she can attempt the Wisdom check again the following
round. The DC decreases to 12 until she succeeds. Once
an individual starts falling in a direction, stopping
requires a successful DC 16 Wisdom check to set gravity
in the exact opposite direction. If she succeeds, she
continues falling 150 feet in her original direction for 1
round, then stops.
Because an individual in free fall cannot stop quickly,
performing actions during the fall is difficult. However,
the PCs may ready actions and perform them during the
free fall, such as readying an action to grab an object or
to attack a creature while soaring past it. Moving past an
opponent in this manner provokes at attack of opportunity.
A PC under the effects of a feather fall spell falls at only
60 feet per round and gains a +2 circumstance bonus on
the Wisdom checks to change direction.
