Sorry Ive not been able to contribute much! Ragnar has me well outflanked on int skills and this has been mainly investigatory.

GM Uktar |

Indeed, as she just readily admitted, it's 322.
Obviously, please refrain from metagaming in character...and enjoy.

GM Uktar |

Ugh! I don't like the situation this scenario is putting us in. It feels like every choice is wrong, both in character and out.
You have no idea. There were 2 more reasonable solutions: 1 involved having played a previous scenario, the other involved making a diplo check earlier in this scenario. Failing that, we're stuck with this horrible mess. And it is literally spelled out explicitly, tying the GM's hands.

![]() |

Oh huh, you did say Gwynnis had played it and you are the one to ask how 322 was doing. That actually would change a lot. I think Uktar just missed it.

GM Uktar |

Gwynnis, what boons, if any, do you have from your chronicle for 7-23: Abducted in Aether?
I checked his PbP character sheet, which lists his boons, and it didn't have the relevant one listed. Given that the boon doesn't have an explicit beneficial effect, I could see why he might not have put it on his character sheet, so it's worth double-checking...

"Acquainted with 322" is crossed off :-( Got the rest, though.

GM Uktar |

And that's the one that would've changed things. (It's crossed off on my PC's chronicle as well...never gm'ed it, so no clue what you needed to do to get it.) So no need to adjust what's transpired...

Nice rolling everyone. Two 20s and a 19. I sure hope those judges are really impressed.

![]() |

ALL PARTY MEMBERS have extended Heroism: +2 morale bonus to attacks, skills, saves.
Except Gwynnis, I think. Not enough castings.
Also, Tchekua has a slight bias toward those who speak in ornate ways, and he’s readily wooed by those who demonstrate sincere passion.
Did you mean bias against those who speak in ornate ways?

GM Uktar wrote:ALL PARTY MEMBERS have extended Heroism: +2 morale bonus to attacks, skills, saves.Except Gwynnis, I think. Not enough castings.
I have 6 3rd level spell slots outside of my specialist slot so I can over us all. It does mea I have no hastes if a fight breaks out but given the judges here I think that is the last of our worries.

![]() |

So are mine but higher is always better. I have plenty of other spells.

Nope. Bias toward.
It's a direct cut-and-paste, but the intent is that he likes ornate and passionate speeches. And I guess one of the castings would not be extended, but it'll last long enough (you confer and decide one of the first witnesses will be the one that's not extended...that's fine.)

Godfrey might be best not to heroism, he doesn’t really have any skills to use on these checks and will likes just be standing around looking splendid. Best seen and not heard.

![]() |

Anyone got any know(religion).

![]() |

Only to identify undead. Ragnar is in the same boat as Sir Godfrey skillwise.

![]() |

Time to start looking through sheets for interesting boons...
I have a couple of reroll ones I could use if necessary, but I think we would be better off with someone else leading. For religion I suspect even with a penalty for talking twice, Alfonso may be our best bet.

Time to start looking through sheets for interesting boons...
Chronicler Thrice per adventure before attempting an Acrobatics, Climb, Survival, or Swim check, Gwynnis gains a circumstance bonus equal to 1 plus half of the number of goals she has completed (9) when attempting the check. She also halves her armor check penalty for the purpose of this skill check. In addition, she can modify a Linguistics, Knowledge or Use Magic Device check, and attempt the check as if trained.
Curious Pipefox Before attempting a Knowledge (history or religion) check, Gwynnis may treat her result as if it were 25, even if she is not trained in the skill. Alternatively, she may gain a +5 bonus on the check.
Scholar of the Gates Ajar Gwynnis gains a +2 competence bonus on Knowledge (planes or religion) checks regarding daemons, demons and devils.

![]() |

Alonso has plenty but I wasnt sure when we child have a second go.

![]() |

That automatic 25 might be good on religion check. Especially if you do some nice RP to go with it.

GM Uktar |

Eleven-Sun-Truth intimated that the judges would strongly prefer that each advocate only testify once. Although he did not say it was strictly forbidden...
There are bonuses for strong roleplaying to help those more challenged in skills.
And there are hints for which judge might be the best choice for a target of an argument (or a bad choice, e.g. pretty obvious by what you picked up that Polanco would probably want to avoid directly addressing Tenth-by-Third, and that a apkallus are very lawfully aligned, i.e. Tchekua might not care for Polanco either)
And there are hints based upon how the issue is raised could lead to choosing a skill that's particularly strong (i.e. will give you another bonus) e.g. using Kn-Arcana or Spellcraft on that first check, etc. (And indeed Kn-Religion would seem a strong choice on the current check talking about the River of Souls.)
And then there's always giving it a go, and using re-roll, if you still have one left...

I'm going to suggest someone tries a sense motive for this one. That seems to be about psychology which kind of covers some learning type stuff.
I'm assuming it is okay to make suggestions like this, as the 'defense team' does a huddle before presenting to the court.

GM Uktar |

Absolutely. nobody objects to you quietly conferring amongst yourselves before someone steps up to be the main witness.

GM Uktar |

We are about to wrapup. I should be posting Chronicles by Saturday.
Before we do, everyone should roll a d20 and a d4 for possible Boon.
BOOON?: 1d20 ⇒ 13
which?: 1d4 ⇒ 2
Alas, not meant to be. gl to the rest of y'all

![]() |

boon?: 1d20 ⇒ 20
Oh cool!
which boon?: 1d4 ⇒ 2
A reminder for anyone who didn't take it into account yet that both Auriferous and Ragnar are adding +3 circumstance bonuses to your Day Job rolls for a combined +6.

Boon: 1d20 ⇒ 1
Which?: 1d4 ⇒ 3

Ragnar "Handy" Sorvino wrote:A reminder for anyone who didn't take it into account yet that both Auriferous and Ragnar are adding +3 circumstance bonuses to your Day Job rolls for a combined +6.That brings my day job roll to an even 30.
Mine too.

Just as a reminder to everyone, if you want a continual flame, heightened to caster level 11, spell level 6, you can have it for 50gp.

![]() |

boon?: 1d20 ⇒ 12
I'll get my continual flame updated, it is a puny CL10 and spell level 5 at the moment!

![]() |

I think I want a second Continual Flame as backup in case the first one is dispelled.

![]() |

I think I want a second Continual Flame as backup in case the first one is dispelled.
Sadly you can only carry over one continual flame between scenarios.

![]() |

Godfrey will go ahead and pick up a continual flame as well!
Boon: 1d20 ⇒ 17
Which: 1d4 ⇒ 2
And thank you for running, Uktar. There's no rush on the boons, we aren't going anywhere!

GM Uktar |

And here is the link to your chronicles; please let me know if there are any errors.
Your Chronicles for PFS#10-15: Tapestry's Trial

GM Uktar |

My apologies. I had to re-do them, and just re-posted the files.
You should be able to download them now.
Let me know.

GM Uktar |

Let's try
This link.
Not sure why last one didn't work, but this one worked for me (from a different browser/computer without login).

![]() |

This one works.
Many thanks for running and to the other players for making this a success.

![]() |

MAny thanks.
No chance of you saving them as a PDF is there? The PNG image is huge.
Also, Auri is slow advancement. Sorry if I didn't mention that earlier.

![]() |

Thanks again for running, Uktar. I have my chronicle and everything looks good!
