I believe we need either a full arcane caster or a skillman (rogue or bard or similar). Maybe Mirianna can fill the skillman's role, but it might be too much to put on her.

I haven't had any luck getting hits here. I posted something on Facebook.


Yeah, the Dancer class is kind of "bard" like, bit of an awkward spell list, but she will end up with a lot of skill points and being a kind of face/skill monkey type.

If you are still looking here is the crunch for a Human Conjurer Specialist.

I saw that specific books were allowed for races, spells and feats. It didn’t say anything about classes unless I missed it. This is the Specialist Wizard variant from Unearthed Arcana. If it is not allowed, I would do something very similar using the CORE Wizard class.

If picked I would need to flesh it out and pick out spells.

Human Conjurer Specialist Wizard Level 1

Str 10, Dex 14, Con 12, Int 18, Wiz 10, Cha 10

Rapid Summoning (Ex):

Any time a conjurer using this variant casts a summon monster spell, its casting time is 1 standard action rather than 1 full round. (Creatures so summoned can only take a standard action in the round they are summoned.) Conjurers using this variant gain the normal benefits from enhancing a summon monster spell with the Quicken Spell feat.
A conjurer using this variant permanently gives up the ability to obtain a familiar.

Enhanced Summoning (Ex):

At 1st level, a conjurer using this variant gains the Augmented Summoning feat for free instead of the Scribe Scroll feat.
At 5th level, the conjurer's summoned creatures become particularly tough to dispel. Add 2 to the DC of any caster level check made to dispel the conjurer's summoned creatures. At 15th level, this addition to the DC increases to 4.
At 10th level, the conjurer's summoned creatures gain an additional +2 bonus to Strength and Constitution. At 20th level, these bonuses increase to +4. These bonuses stack with those granted by the Augmented Summoning feat.
A conjurer using this variant does not gain bonus feats for advancing as a wizard.

Spellcraft 8= 4 Ranks +4 Int

0 Level 3/Day

1 Level 2/Day

1 Level - 7 (3 +4 Int)

Nice!! Question, I completely forgot about the 3.5 XP cost to crafting things. Are we playing by that ruling? I know its a minimal amount but I might switch out scribe scroll... not 100% sure.

I'll just use Pathfinder half cost of item in gp. But you'll need the quiet well lit lab etc


I will be changing his scribe scroll feat. I just need to figure out what I want it to be. Let me know how this looks.

That looks great. Just add in your languages. There's standard 3.5e languages and human languages Common is Merchant's Tongue.


I do believe I am ready to go when you want to add me in. I am not sure where a good place to plug me in would be since they are out investigating. I could be just arriving to town and see the group in the cemetery.


Hello everyone. I'm Michael, here to adventure in Kalamar once again. I used to play in the Living Kalamar campaign, running a Basiran dancer/fighter. I am interested in playing a skill character, probably a halfling rogue. Though I am open to other classes.

For RP purposes, is it ok if Alurad is an older gentleman? I am not wanting to do it for the bonuses and negatives, but just for character purposes.

Need to look at what's needed in terms of skills and such. She'd be a former seamstress on the side that actually worked on book spines too. She was originally built with 28 point buy in mind, just tossed a few more points on things but might re-work if it seems a conjurer without evocation school is a bit too crippled
