Rushing inside, Nibbles stops short as he takes in the view. A smile slowly creeps across his mouth...stretching until it reaches from ear to ear. "Now this is a lab! I could easily spend a week in a place like this...You guys don't think there's any other pressing matters for us to attend to do you?"

His eyes falling on the bodies, the rodent's smile vanishes in an instance. "Well now...that's a bit unfortunate."

Cautiously making his way towards the mess, he inspects the pile. "They are most certainly dead."

Stepping back away from the foes, the doctor quickly downs one of his medicinal concoctions. "Watch out! Them bugs can be dangerous. Engelbert, wanna handle the goblins again?"

Suddenly, the ratfolk's stomach begins to glow red as puffs of smoke spiral out of his mouth.

John's eyes grow wide at the insects and he frantically rifles through his pack, pulling out a small glass flask full of a clear liquid he glances at the label that reads, "in case of slimes or insects, throw and run away!"

He looks at his allies next to him and Nibbles out in the open, "um... I probably won't run away, but I can throw it!"

Draw Alkali flask and throw it at the red swarm picking the swarm part in square (yellow x) to target.

Alkali Flask vs. Touch: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6 for Acid Damage + 50% more vs. swarms: 1d6 + 1d3 ⇒ (3) + (3) = 6

Miss roll 1 straight back at John: 1d8 ⇒ 7 So the flask actually hits at the Purple X, splashing nibbles and red swarm for 1 acid damage... sorry!

Dawa's movements slow as the beetles' venom begins to weaken him, but he manages to escape the swarm and move into the center of the chamber. He takes hold of the iron holy symbol at his neck and prays, "Yamatsumi! Release your destruction upon our foes!"

Idril grabs his the hold of Ankat with both hands as the goblins spring their ambush. Seeing the swarms closing around him, as well as his fellow agents, he realizes he is trapped. Trusting his companions' ability to neutralize the swarming insects, he unleashes a frosty beam at the one of the attacking goblins.

Just to move things along, I will assume Engelbert is okay with the PVP damage. If he is not, then we will retcon.

Okay, so this is hilarious. The goblins have 6 hp and all failed. The swarms have 9 hp, but they take an extra 50% damage from AOE effects, and they also both failed. Dawa just ended the entire combat.

When you're ready to move on, you have two doors to the north to choose from.

Turning quickly towards the nearest swarm, Nibbles prepares to expel a mouthful of flame. Opening his mouth, smoke curls out but...the beetles lay motionless on the ground. Closing it quickly, he turns to the other and....

"Well...that was quite handy. Well done Dawa! Shall we hustle onward then? I feel a bit warm..."

So I have 5 Fire Resistance for 5 minutes still. :-P

You open the door to the Slabs! This huge chamber is entirely tiled with plain gray flagstones. It’s uncannily cold, and only a trickle of light slips through a trio of tiny windows, one set into each adjoining wall, just below the eaves. The room is lined and partitioned with rows of massive stone cubicles. The cubicles stand twice the height of a grown human. Each cubical has an iron door with a brass plate on it. The plates are labeled and numbered with a black wax pencil.

As you enter, a ghostly figure appears! You can make out the shape of the cabinets behind its shadowy form.

The wraith avoids some of the damage from Nibbles and Dawa, but can't quite hit John on the AoO. Valtyra hits with a pair of magic missiles but Idril can't quite connect with the disruption.

The creature is incorporeal!

Incorporeal:
An incorporeal creature has no physical body. It can be harmed only by other incorporeal creatures, magic weapons or creatures that strike as magic weapons, and spells, spell-like abilities, or supernatural abilities. It is immune to all nonmagical attack forms. Even when hit by spells or magic weapons, it takes only half damage from a corporeal source (except for channel energy). Although it is not a magical attack, holy water can affect incorporeal undead. Corporeal spells and effects that do not cause damage only have a 50% chance of affecting an incorporeal creature. Force spells and effects, such as from a magic missile, affect an incorporeal creature normally.

It is also undead!

Undead:
Immunity to all mind-affecting effects (charms, compulsions, morale effects, patterns, and phantasms). Immunity to bleed, death effects, disease, paralysis, poison, sleep effects, and stunning. Not subject to nonlethal damage, ability drain, or energy drain. Immune to damage to its physical ability scores (Constitution, Dexterity, and Strength), as well as to exhaustion and fatigue effects. Cannot heal damage on its own if it has no Intelligence score, although it can be healed. Negative energy (such as an inflict spell) can heal undead creatures. The fast healing special quality works regardless of the creature’s Intelligence score. Immunity to any effect that requires a Fortitude save (unless the effect also works on objects or is harmless).

In addition to those general characteristics, it also has channel resistance. No DR, SR, or specific immunities.

Reflex save vs Nibbles: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20

Will save vs Nibbles: 1d20 + 6 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 6 + 2 = 28

It takes one point of damage from Nibbles and 2 from Dawa.

Idril feels the power of Dawa's prayer course through him. A wicked grin crosses his face and he nods to his blade. The half elf turns to the ghost, he takes a cautious step forward then calls on his arcane power, channelling magical energy into Anker, causing the black blade to glow and crackle with light.

Idril take a 5 foot step toward the ghost, a swift action to power his blade again with arcane pool (3/5 remains) and a full round action to engage in spell combat using spell strike to cast shocking grasp as part of the attack. Idril casts the spell defensively.

Concentration v. DC 17: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (16) + 8 = 24
Spellstrike +1 Arcane Pool -2 spell combat: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7

Idrial likely misses with spellstrike attack. I believe he can hold the charge from the shocking grasp spell. Not sure if he could release the spell with the second strike. I will roll that damage just in case he is allowed to do that.

Plunging his arm up to the elbow into his mouth, Dr Nibbles feels around within his cheeks. A few moments later, a soggy vial comes forth grasp in his hands. "Thought I had some. You said holy water, right?"

Stepping around the beast with careful precision, he pops open the vial. "Hmm...normally I'd throw this but..."

Reaching up, the rodent begins to pour the fluid over their opponent.
