Upstairs with Anyka as they get ready for the day she says, "Thanks for going to check on the night tea for us. I....I don't want to become a mama too soon. Sooo....once we get done talking to everyone, we'll probably start moving our things over to thed other house, and help Vaeri move her things in here." Gashka pauses while putting on her boots to look up at her sister, "Are you really okay with this? I know we just got here not that long ago...." She pauses, not completely sure of what she was trying to convey. She just hoped that her sister would be honest with her about her feelings, the last thing she wanted to do, was make Anyka feel like she was being abandoned or anything like that.

As they head off to see Barclay, Derika notices the change in the weather. Giving Vishanti a light squeeze she comments, "Well, the weather seems to be much nicer today."

Derika and Vishanti encounter Barclay as he is heading to the Common House.

"Yes it definitely does. It almost seem a bit random recently." Vishanti says as she considers the recent weather.

"Here comes Barclay now love."

Looking up and seeing the Paladin she waves at him, "Good Morning Mr. Barclay, how are you today? I'm sorry to bother you so early in the morning, but I was wondering if we could just have a brief word with you?"

"Of course," Barclay says.

Giving him a smile she says, "Sooo...after talking to Jexxa and the others last night, we've decided to leave and take Jexxa back home tomorrow. Gashka and Chris are going to speak with Vaeri and see if she wants to come with us, as well as check with Kyoga and see if he wanted us to try and get him home as well. I...wouldn't have said anything without talking to the others and you first...but, Jexxa just seemed so sad and wanted to go home and we know what that feels like...so, I just wanted to let you know what we were planning on doing, make sure you were okay with it...even though I already kinda told her we would, and just let you know that we might be away for a while. I'm not sure which one of us is going to break it to our parents though..." She finishes before looking up at him, and hoping that he wasn't upset that they made a decision like this without notifying him first.

"Why wouldn't I be okay with that?" Barclay asks. "I don't have any authority over you. You helping out around Valwick is at your convenience, not mine. I'm sure Kyoga and Jexxa would appreciate getting back to their homes."

Derika shrugs, "I don't know, I guess I just didn't want to assume anything. We're still new here afterall. Anyways, that's all I think we needed to tell you. Do you know where we can find Kyoga? We can go ahead and speak to him, and we don't mind helping out at all. We'll be sure to stop in and see you whenever we get back. If we're going to be living here, we want to dgo whatever we can to help out."

Barclay gestures at the Common House. "He's still staying in there. I have to check on a few people in there myself."

She nods, "Okay, we'll just head over there with you then and talk to Kyoga about going home." Derika says with a smile. She felt like they could really do some good here.

Barclay walks up to the door and holds it open for Derika and Vishanti. After following them inside, he heads to Jericho's place.

Derika heads over tuo the desk, "Excuse me ma'am, could you tell us where we can find Kyoga?"

"That bird fellow? He's upstairs, third door on the right," the woman at the desk answers.

Don't forget about me Anyka. Just a reminder.

Knowing that her sister was dealing with a lot of stuff, and not really big on talking about feelings or whatever, Gashka goes to her once they are done dressing and gives her a hug, "I'll always be here for you, whenever you need me. You can talk to me anytime....whenever you want to talk about stuff, or if you just wanna hang out. Okay?"

Derika gives her a nod and grateful smile, "Thank you ma'am." She then goes with Vishanti upstairs and knocks on the third door on the right."[/b]

Kyoga opens the door. "Tik tik tik, good morning! What brings you by?"

Giving him a smile she says, "We were going to escort Ms. Jexxa home tomorrow and thought we would see if you would like to come with us and maybe we could get you home too. If you would like to that is."

The tengu's beady eyes light up. "Tik tik tik, that would be wonderful!"

Derika looks happily at Vishanti before looking back at the Tengu andc nodding, "Great, it's all set then. We'll come by tomorrow after breakfast to pick you up. Is there anything that you need before leaving tomorrow?"

Kyoga shakes his head. "I'll be ready when you arrive."

Nodding she gives him a smile, "Sure thing, we'll see you tomorrow then."

Kyoga nods and closes the door.

Taking Vishanti's hand, Derika turns and starts heading back downstairs with her. Letting out a little satisfied sigh at what they got accomplished she asks, "So...what should we do now?"

Chris goes upstairs and knocks on Gashka and Anyka's door. "Is everything okay?"

Not realizing that she had been taking so long, Gashka looks up at the door as she hears Chris's voice. Giving her another supportive squeeze, Gashka gets up from the bed. Anyka would talk when she felt like talking.

Crossing over to the door, she opens it a crack. Giving Chris a smile she says, "Yes, everything is fine. Sorry to keep you waiting, but we were just talking. I'll be out in just a minute. Stretching her face outside the door just enough, Gashka gives him a quick peck on the lips before hurrying back to her bed to put her boots on.

Once she's ready, Gashka pauses at the door to look back at her sister, [b]"I mean it Anyka, whenever you want or need me, I'll be there for you....always." Giving Anyka a final smile, Gashka heads out of the room. Finding Chris waiting for her in the hall, she takes his hand, "I'm sorry I took so long. So, where should we go first?"

"I guess we should go talk to Vaeri first," Chris replies.

"Okay, so we'll head to the Temple first. Was there anything that we needed to get for the house? I was having a hard time remembering." She says as she forgoes the cloak this morning and heads out with Chris towards the Temple.

"I think your father is handling the furniture for us," Chris says. "But we may want some household items like plates, towels and stuff like that."

Gashka nods, "Oh yeah, so then after we talk to Vaeri, I guess we can go to that really big shop that we went in before? They seemed to carry all sorts of things and I'm sure we'll be able to find what we need there. Then we should also probably hit up a market place and pick up....well, if we're leaving tomorrow, I guess we're not going to need that many groceries. Probably more like traveling supplies." She says with a sigh.

"For the last time," Chris says. "When we're done, we don't have to leave again. We can settle down and enjoy the peace we deserve."

He stops and looks into Gashka's eyes. "We don't have to keep fighting or running off to deal with anything, if we don't want to. That burden was lifted from us when we came here. The Piper's gone."

She nods and puts her arms around him, "Okay Chris, and who knows what might happen when we get back. Do....do you think you'd want to make us....more permanent? I mean...." She blushes while trying to find the words, "Do you think we might want to make the same kind of plans my sister and Vishanti are making? We're already moving in together, and I....I really don't see myself wanting to bed with anyone else. I'm sorry if I still feel a little haunted by the past, I'm sure I'll be able to put it completely behind me someday."

A smile slowly spreads on Chris' face. "Are...are you asking if I want to be your husband?"

Gashka's blush deepens as she looks into his face, "Only if you wouldn't mind having me for a wife."

Chris pulls Gashka in for a tender yet passionate kiss. "I definitely don't mind."

Gashka seems to melt against Chris as he kisses her. As he pulls back slightly, Chris can see her eyes becoming a little misty as she gives him a trembling smile, "Really?"

"Really."

Her smile getting much wider, Gashka throws her arms around him again, "Oh Chris, I know things have been a little strange...but I really think we can have a good life here. When do you think we should let thed others in on it? You know I'm not very good at hiding things....especially from Anyka or my parents. Derika doesn't know me as well as they do....but if you want to wait until we get back to tell them, I can try to keep it to myself." Gashka says, her eyes sparkling with happiness.

Chris smiles again. "We can tell them. I don't really like keeping secrets."

Gashka nods, "Okay, let's go see Vaeri first. I can't wait to tell everyone." Taking his hand, she continues on to the temple to see Vaeri.

Chris and Gashka find Vaeri sitting in one of the pews of the temple when they arrive. She appears to have most of her belongings gathered.

Gashka walks up to Vaeri with a smile on her face that she simply can't hide, "Good Morning Vaeri, looks like you're pretty much ready to go huh?"

Vaeri nods. "Yes, I'd like to...get started with my new life."

She nods, "I sure understand about that. So, I thought I'd let you know that as it turns out, we're all going to be escorting Jexxa and Kyoga home, and will be leaving tomorrow morning after breakfast. We were just kind of wondering if maybe you'd like to come with us? If you don't want to though, you're perfectly welcome to stay at the house....but we weren't sure if you would want to stay there alone, you know...after everything. We totally support whatever decision you make though." Gashka says with a supportive smile.

Vaeri stands up for a moment and thinks. "I...I'm not really an adventurer, so I'm probably going to stay behind."

Gashka nods as she helps Vaeri gather up her things, "Okay, that's fine. We'll make sure you have plenty of groceries and whatever you need to be comfortable before we leave. I'm sorry we have to leave the day after you move in and all."

"Sometimes, life is just that way," Vaeri says, following after Gashka and Chris.

"Well, at least you'll get some peace and quiet for a little while. If you ever get lonely though, our folks are right across the street. I could introduce you to them if you like, we sort of have to talk to them about something anyways. Things are going to be pretty busy after we get back." Looking up at Chris, her cheeks darken as the smile gets a little bigger.

Taking Vishanti's hand, Derika turns and starts heading back downstairs with her. Letting out a little satisfied sigh at what they got accomplished she asks, "So...what should we do now?"

"It would seem that we have the day to ourselves my love, any ideas on how you'd like to spend it?" Vishanti replies thinking for a bit.
