"Good morning love, are you hungry?"
Anyka is silent for a moment, the stinging poignance of Gashka's words catching her completely offguard. "....it's...it's okay....I know what you meant." she manages after a moment.
She feels her heart sink to the floor. How could she be so stupid?
Getting up out of her bed, she goes over to Anyka. Sitting on the edge of her sister's bed, she wraps her arms around her. "I'm so so sorry. I'm here though okay? I'm here."
Chris wakes up and, seeing no one else around, goes to the kitchen and starts cooking breakfast for everyone.
While holding onto Anyka, Gashka starts sniffing the air, a slow smile spreading across her face. Giving her sister's back a gentle rub she asks, "Do you smell that?"
Keeping an arm around Anyka she looks down at her sister, "Hey...are you okay? I'm sorry....I didn't mean to make light of things. I just...I don't always know what to say. The last thing I would ever want to do is hurt you though." Gashka says, hoping that she didn't make things worse.
"Yeah...I'm...I'm okay, it just caught me offguard" Anyka says, leaning against Gashka. She smiles a bit through glistening eyes. "Yeah, that smells really good."
Gashka sighs while keeping her arm around Anyka, "You know, no matter what happens, I will always be here for you. Even if I'm living with someone else." Gashka rubs her sister's back in a comforting way, "Should we go down and see what's for breakfast?"
"Sure." She replies
Giving her sister a supportive hug, she gets up and waits for Anyka before going downstairs to see what he's cooking up for them.
Not having bothered to change, Gashka walks in still wearing her sleepwear. Giving Chris a smile she says, "Mmmm...that sure smells good. Whatcha making?"
Derika's stomach growls as she starts smelling breakfast, "Mmmmm....smells like Chris is up. Are you ready to go eat love?"
"Fruit crepes, eggs and some sausage," Chris answers, smiling at Gashka and Anyka.
Gashka walks up to him with a smile and kisses his cheek, "Mmmm....it sounds delicious. Need me to set the table or do something else?"
"Yes, please set the table and get the drinks," Chris replies, a slight blush coming to his cheeks.
Gashka smiles as she begins setting the table, "Should we wait for Vishanti and Derika before I pour the drinks? I'm not sure what they would like to drink, but I could pour ours." After setting the table she pours drinks for herself, Anyka, and Chris. Looking around she says, "I guess I could make some coffee."
"I'm sure they'll be down soon," Chris says.
Gashka nods and pours a couple more glasses of juice before starting the coffee.
Renard comes into the kitchen, running around Anyka's feet.
Gashka looks down at the little fox as he runs around her sister's feet and smiles, "Do we have anything to feed Renard this morning Chris? I mean...he wouldn't eat fruit crepes would he?"
"I've got a little leftover fruit there," Chris says, pointing to a bowl on the counter.
She nods, "Okay, but he needs a little protein too. Here..let me see." Going into the fridge, she pulls out some leftover meat and tears off some small pieces to add to the fruit in the bowl. She then takes some cheese and cutting up some small pieces places it in the bowl with the fruit and meat. Setting it down on the floor she calls Renard over, "Here you go boy, that should keep your tummy happy for a while."
Renard runs around Anyka one more time before going to the bowl of food. He barks happily at Gashka then starts eating.
Gashka smiles at Renard before going back and taking down cups in case anyone wanted coffee. She was pretty sure that Anyka would since she wasn't really a morning person, and she was feeling the need for a little extra boost herself. As the coffee finishes, Gashka pours herself a cup and sweetens it, going back to the table to add milk to it before sitting down.
Derika's stomach growls as she starts smelling breakfast, "Mmmmm....smells like Chris is up. Are you ready to go eat love?"
"Mmm yes my love." Vishanti says with a smile, tunning her fingers through Derika's hair. [b]"It smells good too!"[b]
Playfully scratching behind Renard's ears as he runs around her legs, Anyka shakes off any lingering melancholy, the little fox making her laugh.
Derika nods as her stomach growls again, "It sure does....hey, where are my clothes?" She asks, while looking around. Derika couldn't really remember exactly what happened after they went upstairs the other night, she was just so tired.
"I dropped them at the edge of the bed after I undressed you love, you were exhausted last night." Vishanti says giving the back of Derika's neck a kiss as she bends forward to find her clothes.

Derika sighs softly as Vishanti kissed her while picking up her clothes, "Here they are, I found them. Sorry I just kind of passed out on you love. Hopefully, once we get everyone back home and get back, things will settle down a little bit." Derika bounces off of the bed after grabbing her clothes and gets them on before other ideas have time to formulate fully in her mind. Maybe tonight they could take some time to be together before embarking on another adventure together. Who knew how long it would take them to get Jexxa back home, or the other one if he wished to get back home as well. She guessed they would have to wait and see. There were plenty of things that needed to be done today though.
Vishanti smiles as she sees the fleeting though pass across her loves face. Getting up, she dresses, enjoying the feel of Derika's gaze on her body. Sitting back down to pull on her boots she smiles up at her love. "Ready?"
Getting her thoughts under control, she nods, "Yeah, let's go eat."
Once they're both ready, Derika takes Vishanti's hand and heads downstairs. Smiling at the others she holds a chair out for her love, "Good morning everyone, looks like we're right on time. It looks and smells delicious Chris. I guess one of us will have to learn to cook after we get back. You two hoing to start moving things over to your new place after breakfast?"
Gashka looks up from her cup of coffee with a slight blush on her cheeks, "Uh....yeah, you know after we go talk with Vaeri and that other fellow about our plans to take Jexxa home. If we're all going, she might want to go along, and we might be able to get him back home too....if he wants to go. So, did you rest well? You seem awfully chipper this morning."

Derika simply shrugs while getting a cup of the freshly made coffee, "A good night's sleep in the arms of someone who loves you helps with that.....a lot." She replies with a loving smile as she takes her place at the table next to her beloved.
Gashka's blush deepens, "Uhhh...yeah, I can see how it would. I guess when we get back, you two will be ready to start planning your wedding huh?" She says as they start passing food around.
Derika just smiles, "Yup." She replies as she helps herself to a good sized portion of the delicious food Chris had prepared.
Chris simply smiles and sits down next to Gashka to eat.
Vishanti's smile is radiant as she begins to eat.
Derika smiles at her love as she uses her free hand to reach over and gently squeeze Vishanti's free hand before digging into her meal. After a few bites she looks up at Chris and smiles, "Mmmm...this is so delicious, excellent meal Chris." Derika continues to enjoy the delicious food and coffee until she feels almost ready to bust.
Anyka tucks into her breakfast, thoroughly enjoying the food.
"Thank you," Chris says to Derika.
After everyone has had their fill, Chris starts washing the dishes.
As they finish their breakfast, Derika gives the top of Vishanti's head a kiss before taking their dishes over to Chris, "You're welcome, we'll miss your cooking." She says with a smile. Looking over at her love, Derika's smile gets a little bigger, "It's okay though, we can still get together and stuff, and maybe I'll start learning how to cook too. I guess Vishanti and I will head over to see Mr. Barclay and tell him what we're planning on doing. We'll meet you guys back here after a bit, and then we can start helping you move stuff. Is that okay?"
Going over to the sink to help with the dishes she gives her sister and Vishanti a smile and waves them off, "Sure, the air actually feels pretty nice outside for a change, so don't feel in any hurry to get back okay? I really appreciate you offering to help and everything, it's probably gonna take us a bit before we can make it back anyways though. We need to track down Kyoga first before we go to the temple to talk to Vaeri, so it might take us a little while. We'll see you guys after a bit though so, be safe and have fun." Putting the rest of the dishes in the sink, she goes to Derika and gives her a brief but warm hug before going back to help Chris with the dishes.
Derika just sort of stands there for a moment after Gashka goes back to the sink, too shocked by the hug to do too much more.
After a few minutes she shakes her head to clear it, whatever happened to make her older sister lighten up, she wasn't going to complain about it....it just sort of....caught her off guard.
Finally gathering her wits she wanders back over to Vishanti and holds out a hand to help her up, "You ready to go love? I really think I am gonna need a bit of a walk to work off that delicious breakfast." The smile on her face goes from her lips to her eyes as she thinks that in only a few short months, she would be married to the love of her life.
Gashka just smiles to herself as she helps Chris with the dishes. After drying a few of the dishes she turns back to Anyka, "Hey...I almost forgot that we needed to talk to that Ryota guy about that tea that we drink at night sometimes....do you think you could talk to him about it Anyka and see if he carries it?" She asks, hoping that a chance to get out of the house would help lift her sister's spirits. She hated that she had made her feel bad, even if it was on accident.
After Chris finishes the dishes, he turns to Gashka. "I'll go get dressed so we're ready to go."
Looking down she chuckles, "I better go put some clothes on as well. I'll meet you back down here in a little bit." She gives his cheek a soft kiss before heading upstairs to get changed.
Upstairs she gets her clothes and boots on before heading back downstairs.
Smiling, Vishanti takes the offered hand, kissing it lightly before standing up beside her love. "I'm ready. The walk does sound good right about now."
"Sure I'll check with him to see if he does." Anyka says with a hint of amusement considering its purpose.
She heads upstairs as well, getting dressed to go outside.
Chris gets dressed and waits for Gashka on the couch, Renard by his side.
Smiling, Vishanti takes the offered hand, kissing it lightly before standing up beside her love. "I'm ready. The walk does sound good right about now."
Smiling at her love, Derika pauses at the door as they head out, "See you guys later." Closing the door behind them, Derika wraps an arm around her love as they head off to see the Paladin in charge.
