Right after the dog slams into the door Mei climbs the wall with the rope over a shoulder gritting her teeth and dashing up the wall in a mad run for the top of the wall shields held to cover her as she climbs.

Fiain charged through the old door, pushing aside the crate they had used to hold it closed. The lock was rusted over and so the door could not be locked. In front of him was a spiral staircase leading 20ft. up to the level of the walls.

Anyone else want to move in round 2?

You can always take 10 on climb checks if you have a climb speed.

Mei and Eat-in-Shadow make it to the top of the wall while the others dash across to the open door, arrows fly as they run across, hitting the door and the dirt, but also two of the monsters. Richter(take 5 damage) and Reginald(take 7 damage). The staircase leading up to the wall is clear for now.

The soldiers in front of Mei pull our their swords and move forward together. "Reinforcements are coming. You are far outnumbered!" From across the complex on another part of the wall a deathly scream rings out. The men look over, doubt creeping in, they thought you few were perhaps the only ones.

Eat-in-Shadow calls forth total, eye-blinding darkness again coalescing around him, a cloak of shadows dampening the light.

Standard action to dampen light to total darkness in a 10' radius around me. All non-magical lights are suppressed. Move action to get 10' to the side, hoping to give Mei a flank in the next action.

Reginald stays at the bottom for a bit nursing his wound.

Would anyone happens to have a bit of healing magic? It seems these shields are as useful to me as they were to the guards. Rationally, I probably should have hypothesized that. Unfortunate.

Everyone makes it to the tower and starts heading up the stairs to be greeted by two of the archers coming inside the south entrance to the tower. They have dropped their bows and wield longswords and shields now. Two archers still remain outside on the wall with their bows. Fiain attacks the swordsmen but snaps at the air. Kahmunash tries to daze a swordsman but his mind is strong and it fails. They attack Fiain and miss.

Mei and Eat-in-Shadow stop the other guards from entering the tower, they flank one and Mei cuts and bites him. The guard draws his sword and the other 3 fire arrows but the dim light hinders them, only one hitting its mark on Eat-in-Shadow(3 damage).

The stairs creak at the sudden increase of weight. Aggghhh finds the path blocked by the others and climbs over the north rail and goes around the long way to attack the guards. He is not used to the extra size and his swing goes wide.

1 of Fiain's claws rips into the guard, who also happens to see Kahmunash out of the corner of his eye and freeze up, unable to move(dazed). Igor flanks with Fiain and slashes the guard with his own claw. Richter joins the battle flanking with Aggghhh and cuts a guard with his longsword.

The archers outside the door come to their friend's aid and shoot through the door at Igor and their arrows fly across the room to clatter against the opposite wall.

Mei and Eat-in-Shadow wound the guard they are flanking who then decides to retreat along the wall. Retreat action, but Eat-in-Shadow still gets an AoO.

The archers reload and fire again but their aim is horrible.

Igoroskandrallanotly glances at the archers outside that fired at him, then mutters to himself, "That was foolish, getting in the path of those archers. Well, let's fix that." He swipes at the guard with both claws.

Those inside the tower slice and maul the guardsmen, killing them both and claiming the tower as yours. The archers outside fire more arrows through the door but both fly harmlessly across the room.

Eat-in-Shadow finally secures a rope though it may not be necessary anymore. Mei charges into the 3 remaining guards on the other side of the tower and cuts 1. They drop their bows and draw longswords to fight back. They work together and start flanking her, 2 of them wounding her(4+4 damage) sides.
