Besides All Might if he still exists (I imagine that the world's resident Superman would have several fans), Setsuna's favorite hero is known as The Count. The Count is part-time detective, part-time lawyer, full-time hero whose Quirk makes him good with math and numbers to its logical extreme and then some. He can calculate odds and outcomes so well that it comes across as outright precognition. To a lesser degree, he is also very good with rules and law systems because math itself is also fairly rule and law heavy.

When Setsuna was murdered, The Count was the one who made sure that Setsuna saw justice. After she reanimated, there was talk of dropping the charges down to attempted murder. However, The Count helped build an ironclad case that was so good that Setsuna's killer was given life without parole for first degree murder regardless. The Count accomplished this outcome by showing that Setsuna was so definitively dead that it would be a mockery of law and justice if the charges were anything less than first degree murder; she was 100% dead for a period of time, and while it happened, the odds of her returning were practically zero.

While The Count plays to a more general aristocrat theme than a vampire, there are certainly hints of influence from the Hollywood version of Dracula in his costume. In combat, he is difficult to fight since he can quickly predict the best ways to avoid enemy attacks while calculating the best ways to incapacitate criminals in ways they would statistically almost never expect.

Uryu's inspiration was Cotton Metal, a hero with the Quirk to magnetize organic materials. Uryu was fascinated by the hero's use of simple materials to amplify his powers, and appreciated his more hard-headed sense of justice, capturing criminals both big and small. Uryu even enjoyed the man's extra happy catch phrase - "See Good. Do Good. Be Good."

I just google image searched "anime character base". Female is a little more common than male, but there's lots out there.

Toshi's all flash and glitz. Let me look over your character and see if there's something you can change up a bit.

You have a decent amount spent into your powers, you just have some drawback issues with using your alternate form which would have made you be able to lightning blast the baseball into the sky.

Besides, your characters personal interactions with his quirk are very amusing to read and you can eventually have it do stuff like have CICADA possess YOU if you get knocked unconscious or something. Who knows, it gives you some extra thematic/story leeway to play with.

yeah, I'm aware of the lightning blast to the sky (and even considered it, but I liked using the other part of my power, talking to objects), but I have a specific event planned for showing off Level Two (if we're going through the same fitness test as the main characters.

Roll a D20, roll high :-) to hit.

When you're hit, roll a D20, roll high to be unaffected or affected less.

Your attack + damage must be 16 or less (even after powers)
Your defence + toughness must be 16 or less (even after powers).

Its mostly similar to 3.5/Pathfinder.

Before I vote, does anyone particularly want the job? Like Deku (kind of), Setsuna certainly is not opposed to accepting the position, but if someone actively wants it, then she would lean toward allowing them to have the chance.

Unless I'm missing something, don't Afflictions like Shu's Machine Control take like three failed saves to totally neutralize something? Since he has Entranced as his first condition, I can see how CICADA managed to shut down two of the mechas, but it looks like he would need three failed saves to totally control them.

Actually, the way afflictions works is the following way. A failed save of 1 to 4 within the DC is the first condition (and Entranced works like a stun in my case, since I didn't take the Concentration/Sustained add-ons), in Shu's case, that means rolling a total of 11-14, 5 to 9 within, instead forces the second condition (Compelled in Shu's case, lets me force them to take a single action of my choice) so for Shu that'd be a 6-10, finally there would be failing by 10+, which instead inflicts the third and most extreme condition. any roll totally less than 5 means I get complete control over their actions for the duration of the turn.

in addition, mine does work similar to how you said though, as I can stack afflictions, since mine is Cumulative, meaning three failed saves within 1-4 inflicts the third affliction. However, most afflictions will only go to their second or third condition if the failed save allows it.

But we ended up having a problem anyways, but I had already let the GM know about it. Shu's affliction is supposed to be single target. These mechas are more stunned for the turn.
