posting this in all 28 of my games (although some of them are dead, i am pretty sure... and others are quite slow so my absence will not be missed overmuch):
There are two hurricanes heading for Hawaii, where I live. One is supposed to land on Friday after being downgraded to a tropical depression, the other is supposed to land Sunday with experts unsure as to how much it'll be downgraded after colliding with the mountains.
I'm sure everything will be fine, so no need to worry. People are freaking out for some reason, but I remain in a state of relative readiness.
I anticipate a loss of internet, at a minimum (they can barely keep it together under optimal conditions). Likely loss of power as well. A time without electricity could last anywhere from four days to four months (with some time around one to two weeks being more realistic).
I'll be on between now and then, but if i just disappear, check the news, hahaha.

there she is, hope I set the google doc right. Xen'drik will be the easiest place to put this campaign geographically speaking (Stormreach for instance replaces port peril). As for when this campaign would be set I was thinking when Yorrick was a young dwarf (just at the beginning of the Last War).

GM Xen'Dragon |

Starting level would be 1 as standard with adventure paths, although considering how much of the first part is "social" (fair warning, your mutiny has to be sprung at the right time) your character isn't likely to killed. Your first (true) combat encounter will be had at level 2.
As for 3pp I allow anything Dreamscarred press (I got to test out the warlord, that is one fun class) including the Incarnum playtest (I am very curious about it). The Invoker class from Little Red Goblin Games is also up for grabs, certain classes from the World of Aden (mainly the Steamright and other "steampunk" classes, but I am willing to hear a case for any of them) will be considered if I get to see the classes myself to judge.
Note on firearms, this is a piratical campaign but it is set in Eberron so firearms are up in the air. If the players want them they have to be either be from Cyre or House Cannith (not necessarily blood relations, plenty of test sub- err "volunteers" get to test out Cannith's latest and greatest).
As for build, I offer two options. Focus and Foible, or you can keep your focus and foible scores from here and import them to the new campaign. Note on focus and foible, you may move your rolled scores around as you see fit. Races core, featured, Eberron (warforged would likely be from the Xen'drik interior).
Alignment, only CE and LG are banned. Your pirates which means that so long as you work together you can be almost anything.
Note that on the scale of Tolkien to Game of Thrones that this campaign leans heavily towards the latter. Not just in bloodshed either, politicking is a major part of this campaign. You will become Pirate Lords, which means you gotta be cunning, brave and lucky.
You get two traits or three traits with a drawback, you must take a campaign trait from here: http://www.d20pfsrd.com/traits/campaign-traits/skull-shackles. Or take this trait.
Deserter:
You wanted no part in the war that has for a decade engulfed Khoirvaire, whatever your nationality you forsook it and fled to Stormreach to escape... You find yourself in the Leaky Dingy, drowning your sorrows, what do they put in this ru-"zzz", "zzz"
Benefit: You gain a 1+ bonus to either survival or perception, whichever one you pick becomes a class skill for you.
Note that all references to Port Peril are to be replaced with Stormreach and that the tavern you all wind up in the leaky dingy. As for equipment assume class average and spend every single coin you have... You will understand once in game.

yeah the Aden classes were the ones that interested me in particular.
starting at level 1 is a bit of a bummer, particularly having worked Unmarked to level 3, but i guess such is to be expected.
judging by the silence of others, you may need to flesh out the group over on recruitment boards.
a Cyran (and potentially Cannith) background works well with a golemoid character. i might go that route, firearms included. Steamwright also interests me, since my Thunderscape game is basically dead and i was playing a steamwright in that.

GM Xen'Dragon |

Xen'drik just seems best at this point, also a note for any god worshiping concepts you might have. In this game Besmara (golorian god of pirates) is treated as an aspect of the Fury (domains Water, War, Trickery, Weather, Chaos).
Note for any master summoners or Path of War characters, keep a statblock of your beasties and maneuvers (respectively) in your profile. Found that in particular with the latter one that it kept my GM from getting confused concerning what a warlord could and couldn't do.
Tenro could you say copy and paste the class information for your interested class(s) in say a PM?

Tenro |

actually, here is a character i made that is a gestalt steamwright and steamshadow (a golemoid with the steamshadow combat option, they have options like a ranger's combat specialization in that way).
i'd likely be playing one or the other of these two classes, but if i went golemoid i would choose the ranged options instead of steamshadow (sneaky options).

GM Xen'Dragon |

Just send the text Tenro, don't have to do it in one big PM however. I'm perfectly fine with you sending it in smaller "chunks". Also a note on ships, while airships will not be an option (sorry) elemental galleons will be an option. Once you get your own ship (and a hefty sum of gold to spend on it) you can upgrade it into an elemental galleon/sloop/whatever. It won't be cheap however.

note on races, since Sahuagin are such a big part of both the adventure path (at least for the first two books) and because Xen'driks coastal waters are infested with them I will consider a Malenti (Sahuagin mutant). This will likely be a lesser version of the real thing however (blindsense would definitely get kicked).
