Aberrant Dragonmark is fine (I have one too :) ).
Not sure about path of the prophecy as a deity, but I don't think it should be an issue--you don't normally need a deity at all in Eberron.

Can you follow and Abstract Idea for a cleric, say Nature, or Life.
The site posted dos list goods and faiths.

As hes a Half-Giant a Aberrant Dragonmark just seems to fit so well :)
I want to get him just right so he feels part of the world,
Would be nice to know some more of the games starting point,
year, place etc would be good, to lock him into his place in the world.

"you don't normally need a deity at all in Eberron."
Ok I get what you mean now with this, so just a idea will do.

Shadow Lodge

Eberron Kingmaker! Can I play a seeker (BoV worshiper, they have a legitimate church in Stormreach)?

Stats:
18
1d10 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11
1d10 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17
1d10 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15
1d10 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8
8

Ok he follows The lady, this could be Luck or a real goddess, there is one that is that in all but name.

I hope you like Him, I do, he will be great fun to play I hope and if hes picked. hes got a back story and a past I hope fits.

Have a look see hes Alts the one Im posing with

Cap

Background is finished. Let me know if there are any problems or concerns.

Focus: Wisdom 18
Foible: Charisma 8
Warforged: Agile (+2 Dex, +2 Wis; -2 Cha)
Monk: Monk of the 4 Winds Archetype if possible, otherwise Vanilla Monk.
So, to make sure I have this before I roll them, they go onto stats in the order that they're rolled?

the 4 stats you roll for are in order

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Any chance I could use this as a ranged weapon?

Halfling Slingshot
Cost: 15gp
Damage: 1d4 Small, 1d6 Medium. Add Strength modifier.
Crit Range: 19-20/x2
Range: 75ft
Weight: 1lb Medium, 1/2lb Small
Damage Type: Bludgeoning

fbdaury yep and that archtype is acceptable
Menovial a naturalist ranger is going to be very useful in Xen'drik.
Dylos since I myself play a Blood Cleric have at it.
Noss I am not sure on the abberant dragonmark since they are for the core races. However eberron is a strange place and strange things can happen, so you can't have been born with a mark however you could have gotten it another way (were you a science experiment for whats left of the Closed Circle? That kind of weird).

Also as a Shifter, can I take Aspect of the Beast via the special prerequisites?

1d10 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15
1d10 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9
1d10 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13
1d10 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9

So I guess then it shakes out as follows: (Racial Adjustments factored in)
Str 15
Dex 11
Con 13
Int 9
Wis 20
Cha 6

2nd lvl Monk of the Four Winds
Warforged (Agile Model)
Region: Mournland (Formerly Cyre)
Hit Points: 18
Hero Points: 1
BAB: +1
CMB: +3
CMD: 18

AC: 17 (+2 Natural Armor/+5 Monk)
tch: 17
ff: 15

Fort +4
Reflex +3
Will +8

Flurry of Blows:+2/+2
Unarmed Strike: 1d6+2
Elemental Fist: 2/Day +1d6 Energy damage from Acid, Cold, Electricty, or Fire (choose when activating) on Unarmed strike.
Evasion (No damage on successful Reflex saves)
Improved Grapple (Grapple provokes no AoO, bonus of +2 to CMB/CMD to grapple/resist grapple)
Scorpion Style (Unarmed strike does normal damage plus Fort save vs. DC 16 or drops target's speed to 5ft. for 5 rounds)
Weapon Proficiencies: club, crossbow (light or heavy), dagger, handaxe, javelin, shortspear, short sword, sling, spear, and Monk weapons- no armor or shield proficiency.

Racial:
■Humanoid (Living Construct Subtype)
■Medium Size
■Base Speed: 30ft.
■Warforged have a single slam attack: 1d4+2
■Immune to paralysis and sleep effects.
■+2 racial bonus vs. disease, death effects, energy drain, exhaustion, fatigue, mind-affecting, nausea, poison, stunning and sicken effects.
■+2 racial bonus to checks to remove negative levels and stabilization checks.
■Do not need to eat, breathe or sleep, but do need to rest for 8 hours to regain spells or similar abilities.
■Do not heal hit points or attribute damage naturally, but can be repaired with use of the Craft skill or with effects that repair constructs. Repairs made with the Craft skill take 8 hours and a warforged repair kit. The amount of hit point damage repaired per check is the result of the Craft check -15. Repairing a point of attribute damage requires 8 hours and a Craft check, DC 25. Repairing both hit point damage and one point of ability damage can done during the same 8 hour period, but still requires two different checks. Appropriate Craft skills include armorsmithing, blacksmithing, gemcutting and sculpting. A conscious warforged can repair itself.
■Spells from the conjuration (healing) subschool or supernatural abilities that duplicate them are only half as effective, rounded down.
■Can be targeted by spells and effects that affect objects objects made from metal, stone and wood.

Feats:
Dragon Style (+2 vs. stunning effects, can ignore difficult terrain when charging, running, and withdrawing. Can charge through squares containing allies. Can add 1 1/2 times Str bonus to first unarmed strike of round.

Skills:
Acrobatics +2(+3) [+5]
Perception +1(+3)(+5) [+9]
Sense Motive +1(+3)(+5) [+9]
Stealth +2(+3) [+5]

O now you have me thinking, cool,o something like that would help explain a lot about him I will revamp,

Also any large Dino mounts a half giant could use?

Here's my submission, all stated out. Will work on a backstory shortly.

No giant dino mounts initially I think however as you travel into the interior (almost the middle of Xen'drik) you will encounter giant creatures of all descriptions taming them could be challenging however...

also an alert to all half giant and drow players, this campaign will explore ruins of the giant empire and flesh out drow tribal culture as you will have role playing oppertuneties based around those if you choose to go after them. Although half giants and drow be warned, both of you aren't exactly friendly to another (its kill on sight the drow hate giants with good reason).

Cestus your stats look good and Monkeygod aspect of the beast is ok.

so who all is complete? Please post info as follows

Tenro Unmarked N Dread 2

[ooc ]Playername[ /ooc] Character name [b ]Alignment[ /b] [i ]Class/level[ /i]

Is that sling I posted above alright to use for my ranged weapon?

Capt Wombat Stg Noss Linker CN Fighter L1/Cleric L1

so long as said sling has no metal parts its acceptable

I have the item spend right now, so Noss is broke, 7 SP left and looking for any kind of paid work, seems about right for him as a working mercenary soldier, moving from job to job.

How could I get Adamantine Fists for Cestus? Is that something that could be included as a Trait? Or is there some other way to get it?

Browman Artor LN Inquisitor 2

Monkeygod Ormak Kron NG Druid(Wild)2

fbdaury Cestus LG Monk (4 Winds)2

Sorry- jumped the gun, not quite complete yet...

Costs 3000gp for an adamantine weapon, which he could wear, so going that route is out o debt the question at this level.

Maybe the gm will modify a feat

Well I guess I can drop Dragon Style for now but yeah- for 1 feat he could be Adamantine plated but as a monk thar would only hurt him so I don't want the full approach, just his striking weapons- fists.

for admantine fists as a feat no, but you may have the oppertunetey to acquire them later on as a sort of upgrade...

tomtesserae Menviol Rofouth ir’Tajar CG Ranger (Guide)/2 Except for gear, my character sheet is finished.

Final selections begin tomorrow if you want to submit a character now is the time to do it.

I updated his gear list. I guessed the price of a machete was the same as a short sword, the same damage (1d6) but just a 20/x2 critical. I mostly envision him trying to use his net in combat. I haven't tried combat like that before.

cool

Ok, I'm interested.... :)

Thinking a Half-elf Rogue with Wild Talent. Left behind as a child in Xendrik when his parents' expedition was destroyed to the last individual. Found and taken in by a Drow, he grew up fighting for his life while helping his 'stepmother' explore. it went on this way until he discovered his parent's journal in his savior's belongings. Fleeing in the dark of the night, he managed to make it to port where he got working passage back to Sharn.

Once back there, an uncle informed him that his sister had also been on the expedition and had not been found in the remains of the expedition. Feeling that she was still lost in Xendrik, he found an expedition returning.

Strength: 1d10 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10
Dexterity: 18
Constitution: 1d10 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13
Intelligence: 1d10 + 7 ⇒ (8) + 7 = 15
Wisdom: 1d10 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17
Charisma: 8

ooh nice! a last minute application! interesting story too.

Here's what the concept turned into... still have to get gear anc such though....

recruitment is now closed, the players and the gm shall gather in a great dragonic council to decide who the "lucky" are.

the "lucky" have been announced! Congratulations to the Shifter druid and the drow raised Half-Elf rogue! You will get to see all the beauty (and horrors) of the Xen'drik interior! I will be devising your custom traits which are intended to be a bit more powerful then the average trait...speak in the discussion thread with your selectors if you so desire while I finalize them.

Alright, having a bit of a dumb moment, but I can't find the game/discussion thread.

discussion is up sorry my friendly shifter, the Xen'Dragon is still waking up atop his pile of giant skulls and gems...

Congratulations to the lucky two! Enjoy the wild continent of Xen'drik.

have fun guys,
not to upset about not being picked as GMing now and thats taking up a lot of time.
