Summoning Wall of Text, will send it your way soon.
Edit: That was not as bad as I thought it would be :-)

Updates tomorrow during the day. The rest of the weekend I will be spending time with my wife for our anniversary. I will be back online Sunday or Monday night.
the Great Old One |
I'll try to get to this if I get a second away on Saturday night, sorry for the delay folks!
the Great Old One |
Sorry, I have to bow out, as I find myself very short on game time at the moment.
Have fun!
I understand sorry to hear it. I'll place Meleey on the ship in case free time becomes available again.
For now folks I'll not re-recruit.

Yes I have made several roles now, time to praise cthulu lol
That climb roll was awesome.
I think Phoebe rolled a 1 on a check earlier this week as well.
Looks like the bad luck dice are turning for you guys a little bit.

As a general heads-up, next week I'm going to be embarking on an extended family/Christmas vacation time. The prep for that is making my spare time a bit spotty in the run-up to it, so please consider this a general warning that I'm going to be a bit spotty until the first week of January. I'm still going to try to check in when I can, but it won't be as consistent as I'd prefer to be. I hope it won't actually come to it, but if I start to hold anything up, feel free to bot me.

OK thanks for letting us know. Enjoy :-)

Good job everyone. Remember to list those rolls you made successfully as you will get a chance at the end of the Chapter to re-roll and increase that particular skill!
the Great Old One |
After some significant turnover we are nearly at 1,000 posts!
Long way to go but we are getting there, the end of this scene will end this "chapter".
the Great Old One |
Arnault that does seem to be a reoccurring theme. It is part of the mystery/investigation part I think. Also if we discover things to fast then the plot might be spoiled. For now we will keep chasing that damn carrot :D
indeed!
the Great Old One |
OK Folks time for skill checks!
Did anyone lose any Sanity yet?
I believe we will have a new player replacing Seamus as a full time character soon.
the Great Old One |
I though you had given up on new characters? Also if I remember how that works I think I only failed the library use one, right?
Actually you ONLY MADE the Library Use roll. Need to Fail the skill check to increase it. :-(
Your Library Use increases by 2d5 ⇒ (1, 2) = 3
Well, I figured since the person was willing to bring back a former PC it would be helpful.

[Dice=Credit Rating 25 ]1d100+
[Dice= Spot Hidden 50 ]1d100+
[Dice= Swim 25 ]1d100+
[Dice= handgun 55 ]1d100+You had one job d100! XD
Do we roll 2d5? I thought it was 1d10?
2d5
Credit rating increases to 28
2d5
Handgun increases to 62
I changed it to 2d5 as I would be annoyed if I rolled a 1 on a 1d10...

Alphonso.
Climb 2d5 ⇒ (4, 2) = 6
Spot Hidden 2d5 ⇒ (1, 3) = 4
Credit Rating 2d5 ⇒ (5, 4) = 9

Sorry! I cannot think of anything I would like to do other than get ready to get on the boat other than a few questions.
To clarify before I ask them. Professor Dyer and Mr. Danforth were at one point going to send that book to Moore and Starkweather? And I do not think I have heard those names before. Right?
the Great Old One |
I believe that Dyer and Danforth were each mentioned at least once. I believe the most relevant mention of them you can find in the Campaign Information Tab. "Reports by Survivors with Dr. Abbot Notes".
There may also be other mentions of them as well. :-)

Hey everyone! The trip turned out to be a lot more hectic than I expected, but I'm back now and ready to get back into things. Thanks for your patience, and hope everyone had a great holiday! I'm going to roll the skill checks then catch up on the gameplay thread.
Library Use 75: 1d100 ⇒ 53
Credit Rating 45: 1d100 ⇒ 52
Climb 40: 1d100 ⇒ 51
Fast Talk 5: 1d100 ⇒ 79
Spot Hidden 25: 1d100 ⇒ 86
No change to library use, but the others all were helpful!
Credit Rating: 2d5 ⇒ (1, 5) = 6
Climb: 2d5 ⇒ (1, 1) = 2
Fast Talk: 2d5 ⇒ (1, 4) = 5
Spot Hidden: 2d5 ⇒ (4, 4) = 8

Short version as the long version just got eaten...
Nicholas Roerich was working for Dyer who wanted the book to get in front of Moore and Starkweather. He could not get in front of them and instead brought it to Lexington but was kidnapped by Sothcott. Sothcott's men have the book now.
Unlikely that Moore and Starkweather ever saw it.
Clear?
