3 hours to prepare.
Ok, heres the rules.
1)What your pc has on the equipment list is what you have inside the building.
2)what is listed below in the spoiler is within the building
3)rather than figuring out a complex way to convert rt to game time for prep work, just create a list of things you would like to accomplish, and i will figure out how long each item will take and will let you know what is accomplished and what isnt.
4)working together works well
5)If it is not posted, it doesnt happen.
6)If you make a lot of noise, you may get an unwanted guest, or three...
The building that you find yourself in is a warehouse. 60 feet wide by 100 feet long. The long walls are made of long lengths of wood, but due to the climate are not insulated. This means that anybody or anything can see through some of the boards and into the warehouse itself.
The front that you all came in through is actually 2 large sliding doors, with a smaller door to allow a person to enter.
the back has one sliding door. the other side is solid.
The ceiling is 20 feet tall, crisscrossed with runners that support the roof. Suspended 5 feet down from these runners are a pair of long wheeled tracks, from which a large pulley and chain hang. These shows signs of rust, both on the track and the sliders and pulley.
Scattered about the floor are boxes and crates. Each box and crate is nailed shut, so it is unknown at this time what is within each container.
Stored in the middle of this floor are two large wagons, complete with harness for horses. There is no dust on these wagons, showing signs of recent use.
Off to your left, from the door you walked in on, is another door set within one of the long walls.
This door leads to a small office area, with a large window to the south. a large desk with papers and a lantern sit inside, with a chair in the corner.
your preperation is part of the game play, so be sure to post in the gameplay section.

Sorry for my tardiness.. Its been a long day..
Ok so at this point do we know there are 100's of zombies everywhere? Do we know each other? Do we know what the color purple tastes like?
Ah.. It might help to read the gameplay before posting here..

I don't have the feat (and can't for 2 more levels) to make a magical trap, so it'll have to be mechanical. Trap door, spike, acid... whatever would work (don't know how well a pit trap or giant swinging blades would work, but they could, if you say so) with the materials at hand.
Some CR 0.5-2 Trap ideas:

These are just ideas I pulled from the pfsrd site. I don't really care which he's able to make, I just want to be able to make some. (Bear trap, and punji-stake-trap seem the easiest to make and put just about anywhere, with the javelin, rock deadfall and arrow traps being second and dependent on available materials)

Hello all. I know this game just started, but I've had some old games that had been on hold start up and I just don't have the time for another game (cool as I'm sure it will be). My apologies, but I have to bow out. (RIZZENMAGNUS, if you want to let someone else in to cover my spot, I don't think it's too awfully late for that... up to you.)

I've read most of the forum posts regarding the matter and they all seem to agree that its exactly like that.. 7=70 ie a very challenged person.. Able to talk and do things but not much more.. 18=180 or super genius able to move stuff with is mind.. Same goes for all the other stats.. That said I'm sorry I brought it up.. Playing with a 7 Int is fine as long as you RP it.. Same as playing with a 7 Cha, or a 7 Wis.. It hampers you ability to introduce ideas to the party, or even talk normal imo.. Same aa cha would hamper you ability to get along with others and wisdom to make sound decisions.. It matters not that you the player can come up with good ideas.. If your character is dumb than you can't just have him introduce good idea anyways.. Again sorry to bring it up, but it's a pet peve of mine when people with a low charisma act nice all the time, when people with a low wisdom consistantly make the right choice, and low int guys coming up with grand ideas.. Rant over.. I premptively apoligize if i offended anyone..

the reason there are ability scores, not only to apply modifiers to skills and tasks, but to also provide the player with a measure of what the character can or cannot due. The difficulty lies when roleplaying a character with low or even high intelligence, wisdom or charisma scores. With a low score, you are brash, unlearned, or lack common sense. With a high score, you are incredibly knowledgeable, well endowed with common sense, and/or have incredible manners or etiquette.
So where am i going with this? Roleplay the stats you allotted to your attributes. Not only does this pertain to the mental/social stats, but also to your physical stats as well. example: Let's say that Grith has a strength of 10 and con of 10. When looking across the 20 foot gap with a 20 foot drop, not to mention the zombies looking for food up above, grith could roleplay I dont think i can make that. im not strong enough to do that. We all know that he can take 10 and use a climb check to slide along a rope bridge, but his character doesnt. Some trepidation should be evident in his mannerisms and speech.
Another example, lets say that Skizzor has an intelligence of 20, and is faced with a logic puzzle. he would speak like Phaw, a measly 20 step logic puzzle with rotating hex for minor difficulty.

and as for assigning a DC 20 to the difficulty, youre working with wood that is cut to 4 foot lengths. sure, you can nail the boards together as described in the idea, but will it hold? That is what the check is for.
Its no different than building a house but having the 2x4s only cut in 4 foot lengths. Will the walls be as strong using 3 2x4s nailed together to get the 8foot length, or is that one single 2x4 at 8foot stronger? Any construction worker will tell you that the single piece is stronger.

Aww comon man your not drooling on yourself lol.. You dont have to be helped around, your just slow at learning and prob dont speak to well.. Your Lennie from Of Mice and Men.. Huge, super stout dude, limited mental abilities..
