Omrijka and Daeron both see in the reflection the image of the ruby sage. You both feel that the crystal recognizes the sages power that flows through you right now. The image also heads in the same direction of Amenopheus and two more slivers pop off the crystal for Omrijka and Daeron.
Amenopheus looks back, Ah the crystal knows the power of Ruby Sage. It is truely a well crafted gate keeper. He speaks again this time more to the crystal then the PC's. This group is with me as guest, you may let them pass.
As Nefti and Kafar approach the stone, they look at each other and stop. Nefti calls out, I think we will wait here.. Kafar nods in agreement.

Before following Amenopheus Daeron turns to Kafar and Nefti See you later, guys. I hope you will still be there when we come back, but if we don't come back within one day, please give this to the Venture Captain Balentiir, it will be your way in to the Society.
Daeron gives his wayfinder with a note to their ancient ennemies.
Then, he moves inside the complex.
GM Z..D..
Two curved ramps ascend gently from one end of this semicircular room toward its northwest entrance. More than a dozen statues line the intricately painted walls, and all face toward an immense crystal that projects from the southeast wall. The statues are carved in the Osiran fashion, some bearing the heads of animals, and many holding objects like staves, ankhs, oil lamps, and scepters in their supple marble hands. Four engravings in the likeness of gemstones are set into shallow circular recesses in the floor arrayed before the huge jewel.
The wall paintings portray many scenes of Garundi scholars carrying Osirian treasures, using architectural tools, surveying a mountain range, cutting gems, and receiving gifts from three supernatural figures.

Ok, just having some trouble picturing this exactly. So we are in a room, there are statues all along the walls. There are statues that looks like Nethys and Ptah and Thoth. There are also pictures on the walls depicting scenes and Amenopheus and the Ruby Sage are in them?
There are also recesses in the floor that are different shapes? Am I missing anything?

How old are you Master Amenopheus ? It seems you live from centuries!
GM Z..D..
Kyra, yes. There are murals too that can not be seen on the map. Two of the statues look like the sages. Have been updated on the map. The jewel shaped recesses are the small circles in the map. So I think you got it all.
Omrijka, yes craft jewelry sounds appropriate.
Daeron Woodblood
|
Daeron asks Amenopheus Master, you are one of the Jewel sage yes? Which one are you ? Because, to me it seems like there is a clue here.
I recognize that each statue represent a Jewel Sage and each jewel is associated with a color in ancient history.
May be by associating a color and a sage we could find a way deeper in the complex ?
GM Z..D..
The Sapphire Sage looks back at Daeron. No need for that friend, we have keys. Amenopheus holds up the sliver of crystal from the gate keeper and places the sliver through the door, opening a channel big enough for a medium person to fit. I shall hold the door open for all of us to enter.
The sage spoke to soon, when the group heads toward the PC's, a ancient voice echoes through the room.
sages stand.”
The crystal entry way closes fast, and then encases the Sapphire Sage in a diamond prison.
Four sets of light beam from the statue, one red, one yellow, one blue and one green. They all point toward the jeweled shaped recesses.
You can choose to move the light from the statue to another statue. Picking up and placing the statues end of the light is a move move action. Depending on which statue you place it in will determine if the recessed end of the light moves.
Moments after the lights begin to cut through the room. The statues shaped like Nethys and Ptah move from there positions and take a defensive posture at the diamond doorway.

The voice says "As the light aligns, so too do the sages stand." May be we must realign the color ?
I suggest to try to associate the color to the jewel sage.
Daeron look around trying to find the right statue for the right color. Knowing the Ruby's sage features he associate the red color with it.
use my moves actions to do it
GM Z..D..
Sorry, after rereading my bad explanation. Let me try again. To move the sections of light. You must first remove the light source with a move action, then move it to the statue you wish to place it. Then to actually place it back is another move action. So this turn you would need to move to the statue where the red light is coming from and remove the light. Then next turn, you would move to the statue of the ruby sage(red circled statue) and place it. Which will move the ending spot of the light, to the correct recess(The one shaped like a ruby)
now that I explained it better, you may restate your actions.
Bemmer - Kyra
GM, going to try something, Let me know if it breaks any rules or I have misunderstood something
Kyra approaches Daeron reaches out and touches him with a divine spell. Casting Sanctury using a mythic point. For the next 6 rounds as long as Daeron doesn't attack an enemy any enemy attacking him must first make a DC18 Will save to attack.
Go, get the lanterns in place. We can try to keep these statues occupied.

I can using mythic power. I have 4 mythic power left, and I think Daeron has 3 rounds left on Sanctuary. I can do 1 per round, so by the time I got to the last Daeron would be a target again, but I can. Who should I hit with it? Ezrin? You two paladins will have movement speed reduction due to armour, wont you?
