Giving Kalem until I get home tonight to post, otherwise will DMPC him as well.

Brask Ulbreaker |

This fight is getting tense!
I should be able to start posting after the weekend.

This weekend I'm going to take the map of kintargo and highlight some of the more relevant places you have been or heard about so it's easier to figure out what your close to. Once you get a few safe houses and things I imagine it'll be even more useful.
In the mean time, you can use the one in the players guide, it has almost everything you need to reference.
I'll post it to the campaign tab when done.

Thanks, that'll be really helpful!

heads up, pneumonia and an amoxicillin overdose are not fun things, and are very distracting. now excuse me while all available fluids leave my body at speed from every possible exit.

Brask Ulbreaker |

I hope you feel better... Extract water elemental is no fun to experience...

Sorry for the lack of updates, my schedule has me out of the house (and away from my source books) largely from 8:30am - 11:30pm. Goes on for another couple weeks, but should be able to sneak in an update here or there in the meantime.

Question. Harley's merchants will net you twice as many coins on a success as the Fushi sisters, is there a specific reason you recommended them? I'll do whatever you decide just want to make sure you know your options.

Euphemia 'Femi' Ferka |

Oh! I didn't know that... I thought they were all the same.
By all means. Please use Harley's Merchants.

Myradil Melrani |

Sorry for the delay, less internet than planned.
Actions look good.

Myradil Melrani |

I'll be away at a convention all weekend. I should be able to check and get a post in every night but not much more.

Myradil Melrani |

Thanks for the note, I've got a pretty packed Saturday and may not manage a post until quite late.

Stella knocked out our power. At a friend's for now but we should hopefully have it back by tonight. Will update as soon as I can.

Brask Ulbreaker |

I apologize for being absent for a while. I had to force-disconnect myself from the internet for a while and it made doing play-by-post games difficult.
However, that is part of the reason for this post. I've realized that I've been putting way too much time into play by posts, and have signed into WAY too many games for me to reasonably handle with my current workload and changes to my life situation. I needed to cut down the number of games I am in, and this one is one of them. I am sorry. I was having fun, but these games were getting to be one of my causes of stress, and that was what tipped things for me. Thank you for the opportunity to play with you all, and I am sorry for the inconvenience.

Hey guys! Guess who finally has his internet hooked back up!
Sorry that took so long guys, the actual drive ended up taking two weeks when the moving truck broke down in lincoln nebraska. Whole thing was a nightmare. I'll take some time tonight to catch up on where we are, let me know how you want me to jump back in.

Euphemia 'Femi' Ferka |

Sorry to see you go Brask!
Good luck finding balance in your life - it's a never ending task. :) I wish you well.

Kalem Riker |

Just to keep you all in the loop, during the no-new-notification incident (where forum games weren't alerting folks to updates), I had a member of my family pass on.
As such, I feel it fair to inform you that I updates might take longer than usual (which I know, is plenty long of a wait already) and if you feel the need to drop out of a game I'm DMing or drop me from a game I'm participating in, I understand.
That said, I do hope to update within a couple days as I could use the distraction as the usual business of these events tend to warrant. Thank you for your understanding.
Life moves on eventually. I just need some time.

Euphemia 'Femi' Ferka |

Kalem, I'm sorry to hear it! My day job is handling Probate for folks throughout California, so I meet a lot of people in your position. It can be hard to think straight. Good luck sir...

@Brask, good luck with everything, thanks for playing.
@kalem, sorry to hear that, hope everything goes as smoothly as it can.
@Everyone still here: We're down to three active players at the moment. I'll wait for the OK from Elias that he has caught up then move us on with Kalem as a DMPC if need be until he can find the time to return.

Myradil Melrani |

Thanks everybody for the updates. Much <3.

Hey guys,
I'm sorry to say this, but I need to close this game out. When I started this a year ago, I had an excess of free time on my hands, and it looked like I would have for the foreseeable future. I was excited to try my hand at GM'ing a pbp game, particularly for an AP all about an underground rebellion throwing off an oppressive evil empire, who doesn't love a story like that?
Unfortunately a number of unexpected life changes have left me struggling to prioritize what little free time I have now, and just struggling in general. My post rate is failing across all my games, (as Femi can attest too unfortunately).
I just don't feel like I'm doing this AP, or you, a service. After over a year we're barely into the second book and at this rate it would be another 5 years before we actually ended the adventure, time that I do not feel will be worth it as I fail to breathe life into this adventure.
Thank your for playing, and building on your characters and allowing me to flex my GM muscles. Thank you for being more frequent posters than I am and not complaining about it, and thank you for giving me your time.
I can only hope things will improve for me in the future, and maybe I can end up in some games with all of you, but for now I can not give this game the attention it deserves and that's not fair to anyone involved, I apologize.
And again, thank you.

Even though I'm a relatively late addition, I've had quite a bit of fun watching Myradil grow from a shy administrative assistant into a full blown revolutionary.
While I'm sad to see it end, I both understand the changing of life/gaming priorities and would much rather prefer a game end when people are having fun, while things are going well, rather than leaving it to drag beyond its fun point.

Euphemia 'Femi' Ferka |

I agree with Rob - sad to see it end, but if it must end, end on a high point!
Good luck finding balance. It can be very hard these days to discover. Please keep me in mind for your next GMing foray, it was most excellent!
:D
