Tanrov decides to get in on it and drops his bow and draws the earthbreaker and he moves to flank the beast with Kevin using his 50 ft move speed from the haste No map to use that I can see

I should be clear about a rule since you keep citing it. You will get a hurtful hit when you first demoralize the target. Given that you have the usual stupidly easy demoralize numbers, they will be demoralized for a couple rounds. While the target is currently demoralized, hurtful has no effect (so no, it's not a free attack every round).

You hit on the second strike, then miss on the hurtful swing.

Hurtful says if the attack fails to cause damage the demoralised state ends.. so I'd have to have another go next round.. yes if it was demoralised I couldn't do it again.. I'll have to keep track orrr if it's bugging you i can swap the feats out?


Yes, he's not demoralized now. The feat can be abused (which is why PFS bans it). If done in a properly restricted manner, I think it can be OK, but it will be a pain to deal with since you always have to track shaken condition.

If you want to swap it (and cornugon smash) out, you can.
