Turning in surprise, he dodges quickly out of the way as the second arrow flies past his shoulder and he snaps the shaft of the first arrow off.

"You will burn for that...", Hallimir scowles aggresively as he steps towards the undertaker, pulls an alchemists fire from his bandolier and throws it at his target.

out of curiosity. Would it be a climb or an acrobatics check to make it up onto the rock with the assassin. Not sure cause it seems like some of the smaller rocks could be used as stepping stones up.

You could leap 10-foot vertical (DC 40, or DC 80 without a running jump) and get a huge contract in the NBA, or climb up the rocks (DC 15 at quarter speed, or DC 15 with a -5 penalty at half speed).

Regaining his composure he cocks his wrist and drops a potion vial out of his spring loaded wrist sheath, unstoppers and drinks it.

Hallimar:
I've got you damaged for 5 the first round (down from 6 just because), and 4 the second round, then healed for 5 thanks to your potion. So you should be down by 4 hp for a total of 6 hp left. So I think we're both right.

Now as far as moving. Hallimar's regular move is 30 ft. Since you are not climbing at an accelerated rate (at a -5 penalty) you only get 7.5 feet. So you are not there yet--or rather you are at that point where you are hauling yourself up on your hands and are technically still climbing and therefore vulnerable.

yeah sorry about that, misread. Thought you said half speed. But it's still what I'm doing. So my next question is that because the rules table says "Climbing a corner where you can brace against perpendicular walls" is a -5 to the DC, If I were to climb between the 2 rocks (opposite side of the assassin I'm currently on) would I make it with an accelerated climb? If so I will do that instead, but If you don't think they r adequate to brace against then I will stick with what I have done.

Normally, I would make you reroll it (because you had not declared Hallimir was moving fast), but we'll let it stand this time. Hallimir wouldn't have enough movement to go around the rock and climb up very far from that side anyhow (it would have been 1/4 (or 1/2) of whatever movement he had left after moving along the ground).

The assassin rolls away from Zaratina even as she score him with her trident. He pops up to his feet holding a long knife short sword, really in a way that suggests he knows how to use it. He growls like a cornered badger.

As Hallimir Hauls himself up onto the rockface he sees the assassin loose his balance due to Airyns wind and fall. Hallimir looks at Airyn with an expression that simply says 'Why' as he sighs deeply.

Then Hallimir moves towards the Assassin, leaps off the rock, blade in hand, attempting to slice the man in twain. "NO MERCY!!!!!"

You mean like this? You could just slam into him--but you would take damage as well.

Hallimir's blade misses by fractions of an inch and strikes earth and not bone.

You mean like this? You could just slam into him--but you would take damage as well.

Hallimir's blade misses by fractions of an inch and strikes earth and not bone.

Yeah, I was going for a kind of leaping down and slicing in twain whilst landing next to him sort of deal. If I got a 'thats cool', or 'high ground' bonus then awesome, but it was more because it fits with Hallimir having an outburst of rage at the dude peppering him with arrows.

So anti-climactic when it misses though...*sigh*

Looking to finish him off the assassin stabs at Hallimir while nimbly sidestepping Zaratina and moving to her flank. He only accomplishes the latter though.

i hate to point out that you forgot the -2 to atk. To my knowledge the assassin has -2 atk and -2 ac and as long as i keep up the cackle he will continue to have them.

Dodging the Assassin's blade, Hallimir quickly commando rolls back into a flanking position with Zaratina and slashes at him with his Curve Blade.

As the undertake falls to the ground having succumb to the great wound infliced by the precision strike; Hallimir also drops to a knee, blood streaming from the arrowheads still embedded in his shoulder and thigh.
