Gargon lurks in the shadows watching the group of adventurers. He doesn't want to get too close, he doesn't want to get smacked again. Impulsive though he may be, his travels have taught him a little caution.

These look like hunters. Maybe I can hunt with them. I can bite and I can eat. Maybe some coins too for special meat. I have hunted alone for too long and I want bigger prey


Gargon, you should post that in the Game Play thread. This is for out of character stuff.


Something I've done with DMs in the past is, when details aren't readily given, I fill in for them. For example, in this case, I would state the shape and size of the table, where my character is sitting in correlation to the old man who spoke to us, and where the table is in correlation to the room at large. Are you okay with this?

Obviously, during significant areas with combat or where physical skill checks are required, I would leave that to your discretion, of course. The main reason for me filling in details is to give my teammates a better understanding of what's going on if something were to arise, while adding flavor to the scene at large.

Okay, so the 6 of you who have been active in the gameplay are the first round pics. You are lacking a healer... so hopefully you won't die too easy.


May I remake a healing capable class, just use the same name? I'm sure I can make a utility priest or something.

No problems, I can take cure light as a spell next level, and until then I have infernal healing


I have more experience with divine classes than arcane classes. I might still go for a companion somewhere in his kit, but healing I could still make work as part of his capabilities.

No worries, man. I'm actually going to be changing my character in a few moments. Working on a reach cleric with the same mentality as my original idea, so the name won't change. Just his appearance.

Actually I do have one thing to ask. How does the masterwork cloak, boots, gloves and headband work? I understand the weapons and armour, but not these.

When you are enchanting something, it first needs to be masterwork quality. While you are traveling through the silent caverns, your equipment will sometimes level along with you. At that point I'll give you an option to add something to it.. Currently, it doesn't do anything but work as a place holder for those upgrades

So I went around in game to learn each of your general skill sets, but I would ACTUALLY like to know XD so ill start
OOC I plan on gathering infor and having as many viable knowledges as possible, and I would like to go into crafting later on to help us out, but only if this Forage skills turns up useful

In combat, be ready for heavy crowd control and field control, but right now my main combo is entangle and toppling magic missile. also have Faerie Fire and Infernal healing, felt they would come in necessary

Ranged specialist. Trapfinder. Expert at underground that will only get better at being in that environment.

Feral Gnashers get only bite, greatclub and improvised weapons. But I can use my bite to grapple, so I plan on pinning stuff down and working in that vein. I do get a stealth bonus, but not all that many skill points.

Its alright man, as I understand boards usually die- attendance-wise -on the weekends. I mean, we all got to have some RP and char interaction, which is more than I have gotten in other games b4 they died XD

You can feel free to post your actions, if something drastic happens while we wait, i'll let you change it... In the future, if my creatures are up, i can go in a "My turn Your turn" style.

Honestly I think the only time you'd want to hold off is if the creatures go in the middle of the party and you're in the second block. But once the party's all going it's probably faster than having to wait until someone's available to post.


Sadly, I need to pull out of this. Lately, family issues have been occupying my attention, and I'm not sure if I'll even be focused enough to remember to come by here. My apologies, guys. Just say I fell down a hole or something.


I'll put your cleric in a One Turn behind everyone situation. That way we can use his healing when we need it. And when you're able to come back, you'll be able to. I know all too well about family issues... Recently went through a divorce and had to focus on that for a while.

It uses what your class uses for spells.

mumbles to self.... What i am trying to say, if your class uses Wisdom more than Intelligence, then it will be a wisdom skill. However, if your class uses Intelligence more, then it will be an Intelligence based score.
