To that, I'd say they are equally uncaring about your desires either? And that's what's wrong with sharing these public places -- no one cares much about the other person. I think we've lost that over the years, the ability to share. Kids are bad about it in school, adults are bad about it in general.
Well yeah, but I am not the one disturbing the peace. I sit down and watch the movie silently.
I don't want to share a public space with someone who disturbs my peace. If they can't get a sitter or leave the child with a friend or a family member, they shouldn't go to the movies.
They chose to have a child. I don't have to suffer from their choice.

There's a reason for that, but you're not allowed to talk about it because someone might get their feelings hurt.

I remember when the Friday sequel came out (it was awful) but I decided to go to the 1030pm Sunday showing figuring I would beat the crowds. A lady shuffled in with like 6 kids ages 1-6......
I saw Payback with Mel Gibson in a packed theater and the dude next to me had his 3 year old in his lap. Kid kept falling a sleep and flopping into my seat.....
Its the movies what can you do? /shrug
