 About Narghat Smythe--------------------
Born to two half-orc parents in the town of Narwell on the Wild Coast, Narghat has served for a year in the Narwell town watch and militia. His mother had died of sickness of the lung last year and his father, overcome by grief had simply lost the will to live following her to the grave a few months later. Narghat left to travel north once he heard about the growing issues in Hommlet, seeking to test himself in the wild rather than sit and grow fat along a wall. All about Narghat:

Citizen of the Nation of Greyhawk and town of Narwell What is your most obvious blessing or strength? Ye mean besides me striking good looks? Me strength of arm probably. What is your most obvious flaw or weakness? Some say I’m too pretty for my own good. Physical Traits What is your general body type, frame, bone structure, and poise? In a word, I’m big but nay a bit of fat on me. I’m solid muscle no matter what me mam used to say about me carryin me baby fat between me ears. What is your skin colour? Brown Does it change? What do ye take me for a doppelganger? How attractive are you? I’m so good looking, women weep at the very sight of me. Actually fairly average looking for a half-orc truth to tell. What is your most distinguishing feature? Me beautiful white tusks.
What is your handedness (left/right)? Right, left handedness is a sign yer a witch. Do you resemble some currently known person? None that I know of are as pretty as me. Do you wear a uniform? No What kind of clothing do you wear? Black leather over me banded mail. Black or red tunic and breeches when not dressed fer killin. What is your clothing's style or level of sophistication? I am the pinnacle of style and sophistication. What? You mean mud and blood stains are out of style? What sort of vocal tone do you have? Gruff and gravely, but I can speak with excellent diction when necessary. Do you get sick? ' Maybe you catch the flu twice a year and that's it? Or maybe you have a weak immune system and catch anything that goes around? I virtually never get sick. History What are your opinion of home? Nice enough town though a little bit provincial for my tastes. Did you witness any historical events? Not personally Are your real reasons for becoming an adventurer different from what you tell others? Not really. Were there any traumatic experiences in your early years (death of a family member, abandonment, orphaned at an early age, etc.)? Well there was the time me mam tried cooking without a recipe *shudder*. What was childhood like for you? Normal I guess as childhood goes. Did you have any childhood friends? Yeah me mate Sindrin went into the watch together but he left to go attend some wizarding school. Haven’t heard from him in a while. Hope he’s alright. Are you still close to them or have you grown apart? We were close up until a few months ago when he left the watch. What stupid things did you do when you were younger? We did lots of stupid stuff, bear baiting and stealin sweets from Esmerelda the baker but nothing too serious. Which toys from your childhood have you kept? I still have my first wooden sword my pa gave me. About the size of a dagger now to tell the truth. Why? Reminder of where I come from. Do you have any deep, dark secrets in the past that may come back to haunt you? Well there was the man I accidentally killed while protecting Sindrin. Never was found after Sindrin helped me dispose of the body. I stopped drinking so heavily after that. Do you have any sort of criminal record? Not yet How do you view the heroes/legends of your country? Depends on which hero yer talking about, they all should get respected just from getting their names remembered. Family What did your parents and/or foster parents do for a living? Me pa was a retired soldier and then butcher and me ma was a homemaker. What was their standing in the community? Both were very well respected even though they was half-orcs. Did your family stay in one area or move around a lot? Both stayed home for the most part. How did you get along with your parents? Pretty well although my last words to my father before he died were spoken in anger so I regret that. How would your parents describe you? Too stubborn by half but my ma would say I have a good heart and my pa would say I have a good head…when I take it out of my arse and use it. Have you begun your own family? Not yet but I hope to have one some day. Personality/Beliefs What, if anything, would make you stop adventuring (death of a loved one, marriage, mutilation, money, position, old age, etc.)? If I became a burden to my adventuring mates or if I started a family…maybe. Do you have any great rational or irrational fears or phobias? I hate spiders but tell anyone and I’ll break yer arm. If so, what are the origins of or reasons behind them? Got caught in the sewers under Narwell in some Kuotoa ruins by a giant one with Sindrin. Almost bought it too. Never could look at a spider since. What, if anything, would it take for you to be able to overcome this? The danger of my companions. How do you react when this fear manifests itself? It is manageable but it is difficult to concentrate until the spider is destroyed. Are you willing to discuss, or even admit to, the situation? No What are your attitudes regarding material wealth? Hard to live without money and more is usually better. Are you greedy or generous? Neither. Do you see wealth as a mark of success, or just as a means to an end? It is definitely a means to an end. How do you generally treat others? I follow the golden rule for the most part. Do you trust easily (perhaps too easily) or not? Not usually, but trust can be earned. When I killed that man that was trying to hurt Sindrin What would you do if something were stolen from you? Take it back and give the thief a few lumps to discourage them.
