Lantik "Deadeye" Kinslayer |

Lantik shows up near Runt. "He says they didn't get back to their Wizard. We should be safe."
Lantik prods the Leader with his axe musket.
Intimidate: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 1 = 13

Odak the Iron Giant |

> After a while, Odak begins to calm himself from the scare he got from Olrune and eventually his size begins to contract all the way down to his normal state, still on his hands and knees as before which made him almost eye-level with the others. The giant huffs and pants a little, the involuntary expansion fatigues him for a minute.
"{huuh huuh} So uh...what do we do with him now?", the giant inquires looking down at the bound man speaking a language he doesn't understand.

Karol Heart Singer |

We have a mission. He is a hinderance to that if we keep him prisoner. Unless he provides us with Information, or was useful in some other way we should cut his throat and keep going. This pragmatic side of Karol is new, no longer the whimsical teller of tales but as a war advisor. His eyes are cold as he looks at the prisoner.

Karol Heart Singer |

Karol quickly casts two spells, detect magic and comprehend languages. He quickly examines the loot for magic and listens to the conversation.

Garmack Scareye |

There are usually no rules for arrow retrieval but I invested in sturdy arrows which I can retrieve if they hit their target which is why I asked
Garmack walks around the dead humans retrieving what arrows he can from their corpses and passing a quick comment tu Runt to leave some of the loot for the rest of the party before returning to his companions side as they question the human. He nods in agreement with Karol's counsel.
[b"]You have 5 minutes Lantik, if nothing is gained from this foul cur's mouth by that time we kill him and move on"[/b] he says drawing his falchion to emphasize his point.

Olrune |

"That's about all we're good at if you hadn't noticed. You would have thought with your superior intellect you would have known that before attacking." Olrune leans down. "There's two ways this is gonna end. One: you tell us what we want to know. Two: I start breaking bones, then you tell us what we want to know anyways."

Tigerwolf Runt |

Runt steps back and looks at the leader and then the others as they react. In Orc. "It will take more than five minutes to get information out of him. Don't put such a short timeline on it." Her voice was soft, for speaking in orc.
Looking at the man she continued what she was doing. 'A wizard, well that can explain some things. It is disturbing but we as of yet do not know his power. They seem to trust him and would have run to him first. It means he is reasonably powerful at least.'
In the orc tongue. "Might as well ask him how many he came with. Where their main camp is. What they are doing here. Threats can work but questions must be asked. So far not many questions have really been asked."

Olrune |

Deadeye has been asking some questions, the most recent one "Where are the Dragon Knights" has gone unanswered.
Lol can you imagine though?
"TELL US WHAT WE WANT TO KNOW!"
"You haven't said anything, what do you want?"
*Breaks finger* "WHERE IS HE?!"
"Ahhh I don't understand!!!"

Garmack Scareye |

In Orc "Very well then little one, take the time you need but the longer we wait here the more danger we risk of being found due to the noise of our battle. Let me try my hand at this interrogation but do not be surprised by the results" he says moving in the humans direction
In Common "Now then you sneaky worm listen to me well. I have a particular hatred of you filthy 'civilized' humans, and even worse those of you who hold no respect for me and my kin simply because of our difference. You have already failed to answer my friend over there which is why you will not fail to answer me.
How many of you are there, where are you all hiding, what weapons do you possess and what would be the best way of approaching your camp in order to kill your wizard.
Every time you fail to answer, you will suffer and we can take all the time we need since Tigerwolf seems to think 'convincing' you to cooperate is important. Shall we begin?"
Taking 20 since there is no penalty for failing my interrogation and nothing prevents me from asking him again and again. Everyone please assist so that we can succeed!
Interrogation: 20 + 2 racial -2 Cha= 20

GM Gadget |

Wow. Garmack, I'm giving you a +5 bonus to intimidate just because you said that so elegantly.
The human blinks. "S-so one of you has half a brain? Fine! We came from a newly-founded village known as Southvale. It's situated to the south of that hill that seems to have been cleaved in two. Why you filthy things would ever want to go there, I don't know, since only our Wizard has any ability to stop you. The rest are civilians."
"Mark my words, in the name of the banner of House Dragonrose, we will cleanse these lands of your kind!"

Tigerwolf Runt |

Tigerwolf would speak up in common this time from behind the leader where he couldn't see.
"How can a wizard stop us? Also, you call invading our lands, which the tribe has held before the first human came to these lands, as cleansing? Aren't you the one's in the wrong here?"
Aid: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7
She wracked her brain for the things he mentioned. Dragon Knights and the House Dragonrose.
Know:Local: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26
Well I guess I was right. Hard for a 4'7" half orc to be intimidating.

Draxia "Longtooth" Drekaar |

Draxia giggled as she looked to Runt and the others. She than looked at the human and spoke in orc."Seems the man doesn't realize his women will be breeding stock and his men will work todeath in the mines and the fields." She says as she than looked to the man and to Garmack
" Can I have him when your done, cause I wanna watch him squirm beneath me. I mean for a human he is very pretty one? She says in common, she than follow up."I mean that's if he yeilds no more useful information, cause I like to play with my victims before they expire"She gives the man a slight wink and a kiss be fore she turns and foes to check on the dead human bodies.

Garmack Scareye |

Garmack shakes his head in disgust at Draxia's idea of 'using' the human, ashamed that she would even wish to keep such an enemy alive
In orc"I think not Longtooth, we don't have the time for you to play games with him and I do not wish for you to think it is acceptable to use these humans as pets. If they threaten us they must die simple as that." he says with a touch of command in his voice and a glare in his eyes

Odak the Iron Giant |

> With the battle over, the Giant sits himself down with his legs pointed outwards, his metal boots pressed together while he puts his hands in the spot in the middle, he quietly watches the other orcs circle the captured man, not really having much to say about anything, his grey eyes darting between one to the other as they speak or do something.

Draxia "Longtooth" Drekaar |

Draxia laughs and looms at Garmack.[orc]" Look Garmack,I seek only to unnerve our captor, to give him a option worse than cooperating with our demands. I mean this dirty human oozes hate at us, and not fear. I was just suggesting that if he fails to comply instead of death he becomes something he fears even more a concubine to an Orc" She said with a smile and a wistful look in her eyes.
" Oh and how about we burn the bodies"She says looking at him her gaze still wistful with a hint of cunning intelligence.

Tigerwolf Runt |

Tigerwolf would gather up the things and take them to Odak as she started separating the loot out and checking it for things they could use/want, or the tribe could use. She started with the leader's gear first.
Hearing Draxia's words it took her a moment to piece it all together and she couldn't help but grin as she looked at her then Garmack. [i]'That is definitely a way to get information out of an enemy. Though definitely not to my tastes normally.'
In Orc.
"Fire and smoke would bring more humans. Even with the trees to separate the smoke the scent would carry I would think. I am not the expert on that though. I think it would be a good idea if we didn't want to conceal our presence.

Odak the Iron Giant |

> Odak turns down towards Tigerwolf as she came by with the loot she was carrying, the giant's unwieldy digits hover over a few of the items to help out, even picking up a random item between finger and thumb to hold it closer to his eyes to examine it, all the while, not saying a word.

Garmack Scareye |

In Orc "Even I do not wish such a sorry fate on this weak willed human, but we shall let the group decide what to do with him. If they believe it will not affect our mission then I will simply turn a blind eye while you mate with the foe who has already slain many of our scouts."
Having said his last word on the mater he returns his attention to the human leader
In Common "I suggest you answer these two with the same forwardness as you did with me, you still have many 'appendages' that I would not mind removing with my blade. Slowly... and painfully...", he then proceeds to join Runt and Odak placing himself so he could face the human as he made a show of sharpening the many daggers he keeps on his person

Odak the Iron Giant |

> Odak sees Garmack speaking in a language he does not know fluently, but he wasn't paying much attention given all the things that were laid before him. As the Half-Orc Ranger joined them, the giant carefully picked up a bundle of +1 Magic arrows and holds them towards Garmack's face, his fingertips bigger than his head,
"You use arrows right? Take these!", the giant said with a restrained, but cheerful tone, his eyelids lifted with an obscured smile, he brings both his hands forward to hover them near his allies to check they were okay.

Garmack Scareye |

Garmack lets out a kindhearted laugh as he takes the projectiles from his mistaken friend "Thank you for the sentiment Odak, but these are bolts and not arrows. I do however still have room to carry them, so we shall bring them back with us along with these small crossbows so that we may add them to our armory"
Since you consider hand crossbows martial weapons, does anyone want one of them as a backup ranged weapon? Got some magic bolts for ya to sweeten the deal ;)

GM Gadget |

@Garmack: Lol, that sounds like you're trying to sell them to the other party members. You have to succeed at an opposed Diplomacy roll to do so!
There are seven hand crossbows, a heavy crossbow, twenty magic bolts, thirty normal bolts, and seven sets of masterwork leather armor.
As you examine the leader, you notice a medal denoting his rank pinned to the clothing under his armor. It'll take some coercion to get it off of him, should you want it.

Tigerwolf Runt |

Tigerwolf would move to the leader and kneels looking at the medal peeking out from the armor. "Nice medal you have there. Mind if I take it?" She asked softly looking at him and smiles. "If you let me have it I will convince Draxia there not to take you as her concubine."

Karol Heart Singer |

Karol looks at the heavy crossbow withinterested eyes.
I'll take this one, oh, and theses bolts. I think that will be useful to us. Unless any object? Karol takes the heavy crossbow and the +1 bolts, with a bolt case.

GM Gadget |

NOT necessarily in order:
@Runt:You can see the fear well up in the man's eyes at the prospect. He nods and allows you to rip the badge from his clothes. You notice that he's wearing rags underneath his armor, and he has old burn marks on his chest - Draxia didn't inflict those.
@Olrune: "The wizard in our town is more powerful than any of you dogs could take on, even together. Face it, you Savages are doomed!"

Garmack Scareye |

"Please Karol, help yourself" he says with a chuckle at the bard's enthusiasm. He then turns to Draxia "If you wish witch, we can provide you with one of these sets of armour? Perhaps it could help protect you in the times to come?
If no one else claims some of the items, Garmack packs what is left into the saddle bags that he kept from their wolf mounts to either give or sell at a later time. No reason to let good gear go to waste he thinks to himself with a mental shrug
"Odak my friend, would you mind carrying this gear until we return to he village?"

Odak the Iron Giant |

Odak /is/ happy to carry everything, even a party member or two! his current Max load is 166/700lbs. And I have updated Odak's post to say yes!
"Odak my friend, would you mind carrying this gear until we return to he village?"
> Odak hears Garmack's request and eagerly nods his head with a couple of clangs from his chin hitting his breastplate, "Yeah Garm, I can do that".
The giant open his hands flat to be able to carry the loot in just a single palm, for anything that can't fit in just one palm, he sheathes his shield onto his back and simply uses his new free hand. He follows closely behind or near Garmack or Tigerwolf.

Karol Heart Singer |

we really need to get us some wolf mounts. Dire wolf probably, as they need the size. And a mammoth for odak. That would be a sight

Tigerwolf Runt |

Running her hand along his chest lightly at the burns. "What happened? Those are old wounds. If you wizard is so powerful why does he need you and your men to lay traps? Why not conjure them up himself?"
Her tone was surprisingly gentle and the leader could see she was genuinely curious about the wounds.

GM Gadget |

The man turns towards Runt and chuckles grimly to himself. Suddenly, his eyes seem almost... dead. Something truly traumatic has happened to this man.
"Heh... perhaps you can help us out of this hole we dug, runt. We have certain spells preventing us from saying anything about these scars or House Dragonrose's plans. Forest's blessings to you, Orcs. You are much less brutal than we were told."
He is referring to your small size, of course, Runt.

Tigerwolf Runt |

That was a look she recognized. It was one she knew from the streets and some of the girls there.
"We are still a brutal people, but we live with the land and our tribe. We embrace who we are and don't try to pretty it up....most of the time."
Tigerwolf looked at him and stroked his face gently. "You can't say anything but it doesn't mean you can't communicate. You know the child's game twenty questions. When I was young I had a fear of speaking so I used signals instead of yes or no. Maybe that can help."
