If Gadget has disappeared into the void beyond, I wouldn't mind taking over. The running gag of my life seems to be always a game host, never a player.
Although I'll admit I wouldn't be too confident progressing something on the Paizo boards, I'm still adamant that virtual tabletops are better. Not to mention it's not even my campaign, would feel a bit underhanded. I'm thinking maybe Gadget is just, busy with crap that got in the way?

Odak if you want to run the game I have no objections, but if you can't then I may be willing. This assumes gadjet does not pop back of course. I suggest we give him a week or so, then as a group decide.

More than 3 weeks since he lasted posted here..however, he has posted as a player to other games, including in the last week, so I think there is a high probability this campaign has been punted.

If what Dergosh says is true, the only way to save the campaign is for someone to take over and try to rewrite the current segment about the evil wizard.
Like I said before, I'd be interested in keeping the game afloat as a GM. I much prefer Maptool/Virtual-tabletops but understand everybody can't make it to the same time, so I figure I would work something out with me posting screenshots of the battle-field so we at least have a round-for-round overview of people so we're not getting confused.
I'd probably have to roll a lot more wisdom/intelligence checks to avoid crossing the meta-line with Odak, but that's fine.

Kind of weird that Gadget hasn't got back to us already. I had this campaign tabbed ever since we started and check back every so often for new posts. If we are going to have a change of GMs we should see who's on board with it and who wants to be or help GM'ing from now on.
Me, Durgosh, Tigerwolf and Karol have posted at least once in the last week. It will be good to know who's still in and aware of a change of ownership (if any).

If Gadget's truly gone and everybody wants to keep going, I'll try to baton-pass the responsibility of GM and figure out some way to keep the current storyline going, the synopsis is there but I know zero of the details, I'd have to write something up from scratch.
Not to mention I would need time to get things set up and the story rewritten. Would've been a lot easier with a clean slate.

I sort of see the game as a bit like the European incursions against various aboriginal peoples around the world. Giving the civilized races advance fire arms and good organisation skills would show this dynamic. And a contempt for the savage races.

Well, we all can't be a GM, it would be too much coordinated effort for something we haven't even spoken in IMs to. But having plenty of back-ups is a nice idea. I think maybe we should just take turns depending on the part of the story we're dealing with at the moment.
I could handle combat and social scenarios (Maptool for combat, general human disdain for Orcs and Giants). Someone could handle what is considered the 'main quest', and maybe someone else handles how the world's resources work.
I know I'd make a terrible impression of an Orc Elder but I know I can pull off Zealous soldiers or stereotyping thugs.

Actually, when you think about it that's probably how most modules are made.
Ok, how about I write up the setting, with questline, gazette and so on, you handle encounters,social or and combat. And the maps . We set up a new game recruitment, allowing old players to have automatic spots if they want, but recruiting others to fill the gaps. Odak and Karol fade to npc's and so on.
maybe six players.
It would take me about a week to write up the setting basics, but we could recruit in that time. Make it a homebrew world so we have creative freedom.
Or if you want to stay a player, I could be GM.

Why not do Gming chapters. Simular to modules. Each chapter being separate pieces. One feeding into each other. The over all story being about the tribe.

Although it would be nice to still do combat stuff as Odak (He's a freakin' battletank), thankfully given the nature of play-by-post it's not actually too hard to play multiple NPCs at once. The Maptool thing would just be in screenshot form only; which I can update every so often by reupload from my website.
Taking turns per module is a good idea, so who's better to run the Human-Prisoner of the Evil Wizard module first?

Sorry for being out of touch, was camping for the last 4 days. I'm in, and I like Jazzai's idea of rotation DMing.
I've only been in a few games as a player, and it seems nearly all of them end very quickly, just as this did. OTOH, I've been running a PBeM for 13 years and still going strong, so I'm happy to take a rotation behind the screen so long as it isn't the first one.
