I'm very confused on what is happening in the combat right now.


You should be. seven trappers just came out of the woods in the middle of the night. JUST ROLL WITH IT, the next combat will be much cleaner, I promise.

I beg to differ. Not only can I match your CLW spell for spell, but I have channel energy on top of that.

Karol heals a d8 plus 3 with his spells. I get up to four a day. A cleric of your level gets two plus wisdom bonus a day which probably means three. Domain spell is extra of course, but it can't be swapped for a cure so you only get an extra one if you have the healing domain. And your cure light effect is a d8 + 2.
True your energy burst does trump the situation but when I made the above comment I was thinking about spell healing.

I'm actually really happy that Odak's stomp managed to cripple most of the trappers by proning them. -4 AC to melee really helps.

Not to be "that guy" who quotes RAW, but Odak your size and weight are definitely not realistic for the large category. A large creature is anywhere between 8' to 16' tall and weights 500-4000 lbs. Your height puts you into the big end of tall and your weight puts you into the gargantuan section.

Not that it matters at all (unless some idiot tries to pick up Odak) but just to help visualize your character.

Oh! Well I made sure to keep into the height range of Large just to keep some sense, but when I made up the weight I actually used cube-law based on his original weight as a 6ft human and upscaled it.

Calculating just now I realised that Odak's weight is actually higher than I originally intended (probably because I decreased Odak's height prior to joining the game. So I've adjusted it down to 3560lbs at Large size. Thanks for pointing it out Olrune!

Hey Gadget, since this is a rules light game I was wondering if it would be possible for me to take a dire wolf as an animal companion at level 4 which would allow me to ride it as a mount to get to places but still have a pet who is effective alone in combat?

Doesn't the wolf companion get large at tenth for you. You could call it a dire wolf pup (very game of thrones).

Oh yeah he does get large at tenth, problem is he might get jealous of the other wolf I ride when we move around. Basically I was just wondering if he could be considered strong enough to be used as mount from the get go just for the closeness of a companion.

Hey gadget, did you say the trappers were using hand crossbows? Those things are expensive, 135gp I think, and need an exotic proficiency to use.

Unless they are different in your world of course.

I see no reason why a smaller crossbow should need an exotic proficiency to use. They were basically the guns of their day.

Speaking of which, guns are martial weapons here, using the standard Golarion rules for guns.

Heh, well I know size changes don't usually stack, and Psionics is usually interchangable with magic for the purpose of stacking effects, but it would sure save Odak from using a power point! Although at some point he'll be high enough manifester level to augment Expansion to increase his size by two, that'll be...interesting to play out. Maybe he can carry the party across an ocean or castle wall?

No, Guns aren't common, I just see no reason why they aren't Martial. It's at the Emerging Guns stage.

I started tearing up and laughing maniacally at the same time after reading the last couple of posts. You guys seriously have a great grasp on the Orcish mentality.

I might be wrong, but I think it was Gadget's head exploding. I think he accidently head the prisoner answer and wants to walk that back. Either way, exploding heads are cool.
