Well in all honesty Drovic was thought up for my saturday game I joined up at lvl 11 and he was a sword and board paladin. I had a feat to spare at that point and would have used it. Gm said no CE so he ended up a LE drow fighter. Other drovic is lvl 14 now. And uses a great sword.

I was really digging on Scotty and his butterfly knives... But the short sword entices me ;p. although I would be only doing 1d4 sneak with it.
Scotty the Blade wrote: I was really digging on Scotty and his butterfly knives... But the short sword entices me ;p. although I would be only doing 1d4 sneak with it. You could use one of your knives when sneak attacking, and your short-sword in straight-on melees.

I still have no idea what's in my case, and I have to wait til after this mess is over to get scotty to open it for me. :(
As an aside.. I was curious so I did some math. My average roll so far is 7. Only 3 of my rolls so far have been double-digit numbers. >_>

Finely honed cowardice, lol. Well done. Didn't realize I had forgotten to roll. o.o
I'm going to go out on a limb and assume that Jammy is too frail to retrieve his new shiny by smashing the case. :(
.. wait. Can I use my ear-piercing scream to shatter the case? :D

Of course, opera singers do it all the time.

Amusingly.. if I was at an opera I could totally make it look like the shrieking obese woman on the stage caused somebody in the audience to have their head explode. o.o

So I've been reading up on the "Horrible Monsters I'd Like to Summon Sometime" List, and I have to wonder if The Beyond are actually Qlippoth.

Is this display room fairly open, or are there columns here as well?
Scotty the Blade wrote: Is this display room fairly open, or are there columns here as well? It's mostly open, but there are the six weapon displays and a giant's axe in the dead center. There are also no exits besides the one you came through.
@ harland that seems pretty reasonable after reading the blurb.

Oh, man, I didn't really think about where I was rolling to... thought I would just be flanking with you, forgot about the other guys ;p Oh well, Scotty's Acrobatics skill is pretty sweet, he'll probably be able to get away... also wondering if these constructs are immune to crits/sneak damage (I think in pathfinder they ruled constructs are not immune, and in third ed. they were immune, so idk which way our DM rules (I'm totally fine with either). Just curious ;p

Yup. My IRL party, the monk got bit by a wererat. They are level three and broke (lol) so I'm trying to come up with a quest where they can get him healed. Noone wants to be a were rat.

He has to undergo a ritual in which, as he's transforming, the party needs to impale him with a silver longsword, and even then only in a specific glade in a forest.

There is this. Alternatively, consuming a dose of wolfsbane (Pathfinder RPG Core Rulebook 560) gives an afflicted lycanthrope a new Fortitude save to recover from lycanthropy. It is only 500gp. But it only says that under the lycantrope page.
FYI I'll always let you guys reconsider your action if I haven't posted the results of the round.
Also constructs can be critted in Pathfinder, but they weren't flat footed and you weren't hidden or flanking them. They knew you were there (especially you, since you're the one who activated them).

I figured it wasn't happening during the first round, but I was curious because I didn't want to have jumped in the middle of em for nothing ;p I was hoping my sneak damage could clear that dr.
Hmm... what if they crit the stab and he dies lol
The wolf bane is a great idea. I'll definitely start them there, but I was hopin to get a chance to turn this into a good quest. I have a couple new players in the group who I want to see get more involved and thinking and talking to the group makin plans etc

Well. Common sense tells me that since you're asking, it would be a bad idea for me to stick with my previous action ;p. I will post a revision shortly

A lesson I learned many moons ago during one of my first D&D campaigns. One of the golden rules. If the DM asks "Are you sure?" then there's a very good chance you should immediately reconsider your actions.
Moving from the case was last turn
Scotty we are like this
xxd

you aren't 30 feet away that's why i said use the magic short sword and dagger.

None of the prestige classes really speak to me... does anyone think I'll be crippled if I go single classed Wizard?
Bah, who needs that prestige shit? This is Pathfinder; the base classes are good.
Okay we need to progress the fight forward and I get the impression that Dr. Silver didn't smash the case to grab that gun just because it was so beautiful so I'm assuming his action is "shoot enemies" and am processing this round.

Harland I do think that being able to bend reality itself will cripple you.:{
Male Half-Elf (Drow) Wizard 2 | HP: 12/12 | AC: 11 FF: 10 | Fort: +1 | Ref: +3 | Will: +3 | Init: +0 | Perc: +2 |
Oh yes, because the classes aren't balanced AT ALL. Got ya.
My question stems from my old play groups, where if you DIDN'T take a prestige, you were considered to be crippling yourself.
I mean there is some nice stuff but they don't stack very well with your class abilities.
And i am going to die. huh.
Yeah not a fun round for team bad guy.
The map now looks something like:
XXXD------
------XXXS
- = Empty space
Also don't forget: if anyone dies, you can always get a discount resurrection on credit.

Illithid longsword and Lolth holy symbol.

Lol, two for one ressurections... On your first time, you get a card. Every 10th ressurection is free... Join the clergy, get 25% off all healing spells, 20% off ressurection...
should have grabbed the sword.

Just don't miss a payment. They brought you out of the afterlife, and they can put you right back there if need be. Probably by attacking you with angels.

Edit: could I potentially reach inside the hole doc silver shot out of this guy, and use disable device to... Disable the device

Oh sweet merciful jesus we're doomed. o.o I wouldn't advise inspecting the case Jamako currently resides on. There's a good chance that you'll find the bricks he just shat, etc.
On a side note.. is there anywhere in this room small enough for him to hide/escape from the clutches of doom? lol
Scotty the Blade wrote: Hmmm... If only I was level two! Not having that +1 bab is really limiting my options since it is now an action to pull out my magic weapons... You could drop the knives for free, move action your short sword and at least get one attack. Then move action the dagger, attack with the short sword, and after that you've got both weapons.

Well he had a pretty good hiding place until he smashed the glass. You could flee to another case and try again. There's also now a way through the entrance (it just involves a gauntlet of three AoOs).
There's also that fancy new staff you just grabbed. You have no idea what it does, but you know enough about staffs to just start blasting out whatever might happen to be in there.
