Ok, so... Beck heals 5 from Life Link, and Helgash takes 5.

Helgash realizes they are in a very tight spot, and the situation can get out of control before they even realize it. Taking down at least one of the huge ogres is a priority, but he cannot let Beck simply lying there, badly wounded.

"Stand fast Beck, the day is ours as these wretches will soon understand!" - he roars, stepping closer to his companions, and casting a healing spell.

CLW on Beck: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9

So, total healing on Beck is 14.

Duardlara targets the ogre that looked the worst off. Is this the one next to rapier-dude?

Dlara targets the wounded ogre instead after seeing how much he is flagging and with a nicely placed magic missile drops the ogre to the ground limiting the number of opponents to 2.

If Helgash takes a 5' to G7, Sheelah can take his place and not be cornered

I'm kind stuck, so Sheelah is going to attack the man from cover.

Sheelah attacks around the corner over Beck's prone form.
Bite: 1d20 + 5 - 1 - 2 ⇒ (4) + 5 - 1 - 2 = 6
for 1d6 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 + 2 = 7
Claw: 1d20 + 5 - 1 - 2 ⇒ (13) + 5 - 1 - 2 = 15

Claw: 1d20 + 5 - 1 - 2 ⇒ (9) + 5 - 1 - 2 = 11
for 1d4 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 + 2 = 7

If Helgash steps south one square, Sheelah starts moving around, under Becks direction.

Yep Beck, my move was to G:7 - forgot to describe it on my post :/

Beck wakes up laying on the ground thanks to Helgash providing life saving healing to the poor tiefling. Some of the damage now appears on Helgash. Beck picks up his cudgel and swings it at the rogue trying to cause some damage to him. Sheelah joins in and attacks with tooth and claw on the foe that dropped her master. None of her attacks nor Beck's manage to get past his defenses though.

Round 3

The ogre takes a swing at Sheelah with his club hoping to down the feline that is looking at him threateningly. 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (16) + 9 = 25 for 2d8 + 10 ⇒ (2, 7) + 10 = 19

The rogue smirks at Beck's attempts to bludgeon him and fakes once again with his dagger.

bluff 1d20 + 14 ⇒ (4) + 14 = 18
attack 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (20) + 10 = 30 for 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
crit confirm 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (17) + 10 = 27 for 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Clearly the rogue has Beck's number as he continues to hit hard with perfectly placed attacks. the healing that Helgash did though was enough to keep Beck still up for now. Sheelah took the massive blow from the ogre though and is lying still next to Beck.

map update with Beck prone and Sheelah unconscious. Good guys up.

Come at me bro.

Again the Life Link between Helgash and Beck pulses, healing the druid while the paladin takes on his wounds.

Beck heals another 5.

A soft glow encompasses the tiefling, healing his own wounds, and with a glare in his eyes he steps forward to attack the ogre - "Now US!" - he roars, standing protectively over the prone shape of Sheelah, wishing he would have a moment of respite to heal the big cat.

Swift LoH: 1d6 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 + 2 = 7

Guys, I didn't want to block the door and give the 'rogue' soft cover from Jetro's shots, and making things overall harder but... My thinking is that he has been freaking lucky with those 20's but doesn't hit as hard as the ogres. If the big guy hits Beck, he might actually kill him in one blow, since he is already really low on HP, so I'll try to get the ogre's attention. Just letting you all know :D

The rogue and ogre are covered in the tiny spiders that manage to get into and beyond the armors biting ruthlessly at the exposed flesh. The spiders are a nuisance though and the ogre and rogue are able to shrug off the annoyance as they continue to focus on the threats before them.

Beck takes the opportunity to heal Sheelah while Helgash keeps the ogre occupied. Helgash lands another blow and the damage is starting to pile up. Sheelah steps forward and attacks the ogre as well hitting with a claw. The ogre is bleeding profusely now but remains standing.

Round 4 update for bad guys once I get home.

I did not look at the map when I posted up above but now that I look at it, Venja you can not hit both with the spider swarm. Which target do you want to hit the ogre or the rogue? Your current coordinates mean it will hit only the rogue.

The ogre continues to target the closest target Sheelah in the hope of putting her down and turning her into a nice coat once this is all done. Either that or he is licking his chops as he envisions what cat meat tastes like.

attack 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (11) + 9 = 20 for 2d8 + 10 ⇒ (2, 2) + 10 = 14

The ogre connects again sending Sheelah reeling to the ground in pain. Shw lays there not moving blood trickling from her ears as the ogre hook came crashing down on her head.

The rogue snickers and goes after Beck again choosing to ignore Jetro who was taunting him. You'll get yours soon enough archer.

The rogue still manages to get Beck to guess wrong and while prone the rogue plants the rapier into his leg and gives it a twist. Beck can feel a tendon pop as his left leg feels limp and does not want to cooperate.

good guys up but rogue may 5ft step pending location of the swarm. Sheelah is down as well as the ogre continues to pile on the damage and rolling hot.

Venja I think you missed my ooc post above. The rogue moved into the doorway to the south out of the swarm. I was at work and could not update the map till now. However the swarm continues to move in the same direction is was unless you give it a standard action. this would have it move into the room with the rogue still causing the damage you posted above. It then disappears as the duration has expired.

fort save rogue poison 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 22 success

fort save ogre ray of enfeeblement 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12 fail!!!

Beck swings at the rogue but still can not do much from his prone position. Meanwhile Lara fires a heavy arrow that passes by the ogres head causing him to glance in her direction. The momentary lapse in concentration is all Venja needed to hit it with a ray of enfeeblement sapping much of its brute strength and reducing it to the equivalent of just an incredibly strong human.

Cover and combat is not applied I believe to either DLara or Venja in this case as the target is large and attacking at range. I could be wrong but even if it is partial cover imposing a +2 to AC the touch attack still hits and the arrow still misses. PLease feel free to double check me on this if you want to.

Beck heals another 5 hp from Life Link, and Helgash takes 5.

"You will not fall! Not while I am here brother!" - Helgash roars, even if he is not sure if Beck is listening.
