Val, I did a prayer and sacrificed some gold (dont remember the amount a 1000 or so) and left it up to Donblas, since I (not the character) was in a hurry. However, if you ask me now, fire works for me ;p

BTW force isnt an option, just the normals fire, cold, electricity, acid, maybe sonic though I doubt it would be sonic as its pretty rare, less Donblas knows something I dont (which is undoubtably true)

you think he (Astinos) worships either the Summarion God of Death and Taxes or the Egyptian diety of plague and abberation; wierd though; his aura feels full of goodness and confidence.

Need a roll for each person as they all are different and have different modifier, lol and Astionos's was the easiest.

Llevenoc: your think the dwarf follows Dumathion; Hider of secrets under the mountain; Lord of Silence, He Who Does Not Speak, his sect of Priests is rare; followers very uncommon; but the drow often find them in groups gaurding some near worthless underground place; they fight to the last then blow up the entire area Jihad style so that no one can get the secret they are hiding. Drow have sacked these places; then had slaves dig out these areas and never found anything. Whatever secrets they hide; they are good at it; their high priest is Kojan; that dwarf you saw up top; you have heard him some scant mentioned in the last couple months on your time on the surface.

Reposting poison info for Llvenoc and any others:

you need to take poison saves; dc 18; <Fort> would be worst but fire burns it up but that is what makes the extreme wind.

Ok; guys in the hall for the poison gas; same as above; Thoronhen; add +2 to you save as you like 30 ft back down the hall; Kalona add +1 to your save.

ok; the Poison; fail save; fall unconcious; primary damage; unconsciousness 1d6 turns + 5d6 damage; 19pts; save for half damage, Nausea 2d8 rounds (5) -3 all actions; secondary damage will be posted when the time interval occurs.

Male Drow 5th lvl Fighter/2 Order of the Bow (Crossbow) Initiate

If the Jewel will allow me I will pick up Nebebit and start heading down the left hall.

Looking back at the Dwarf briefly. Well meet Secret Keeper.

Female Raven

If the cloud of vaporous fumes is still lingering. I will "whistle up a wind". Gust of Wind, caster lvl=9, starts at me and goes 60' in a line, ends at the 60' so no blow back or anything like that. Wind is around 50mph. Pushes all gases and vapors to the edge of its range. Last 1 round. Fort save if something needs it.

It seems everyone want the gases to go back the way we came and leave the left...opposite one the dwarf came from, clear too. I dont know if I can align myself to do that or not. The song is a standard action so I have a move to position myself. So I will do the best (I would prefer not to have to take another save if possible) I can, if I cant blow it the way they want, the hall the dwarf came down is longer than 60 feet so I will blow it down there to the limit of the range.

Kalona, flies off the skeleton and re-positions herself.

"All please grab your things and stand clear of this path. I forsee a strong wind with no rain clouds in mere moments." Those who can see the sparkle in her eye, knows she is amused.

Then begins whistling a tune. As she sings a soft breeze starts flowing from her, slowly at first and then into a full raging gale, sweeping the area of all vapors, fumes, dust, glass and anything else not heavy enough to resist the force.

Fort save vs Poison gas:1d20+4=17

Kemnebi stands up from the initial explosion and pats at his smoking, but otherwise unharmed exposed fur. With the fire prot up I only took 2 pts fire dmg His familiar hangs onto his shoulder, giving him a verbal dressing down with much 'mrowr'ing and hissing. Familiar has the feat that lets it take no dmg with successful save

"Nebibit!" He cries as his fellow bipedal feline collapses under the influence of the gas. He starts to catch her, but sways as she hits the floor. His eyes roll up into his head, and he collapses after, and probably on top of, Nebibit.

Second poison save: 1d20+4=24 YAY!

You would know to tell it what is a threat; it is mindless and cant tell freind from foe which is why it is common for most necromancers to say; attack anything that crosses that line and statements like that.

If you tell a skelly to guard; you have to tell it what to guard; keep in mind the 25 word limit and that if its instructions conflict it might do random things.

Kenembi's familiar; I usually have familiars follow the character for saves and such, so Kenembi; please update us on your familiar's status due to poison.

Llevenoc, how many doses are in the vial you handed The Jewel?

I am amenable to having at-will 0-lvl spells/orisons/mental etc.

Familiars have that feat that lets them take no dmg from successful ref saves, so she took no dmg from fire. She made both saves for the poison (Sorry, I forgot to post those!) but if it's not a ref save then she still takes whatever the 'successful' result is. I think you said it was nausea for 5 rounds?

Kemnebi's familiar makes a few unpleasant wretching sounds, like she has a particularly nasty furball. But the cat is up and moving on her own, batting at Kemnebi's unresponsive face with one paw.

To clarify. The skeleton's move 20' in either direction from the T. They face away from the T. The "guard" statement is.

Point at anything coming from the direction facing. If attacked return to me.

"Please do not go past the skeleton's at this time, they will point at you and that would be less than helpful. Keep an eye on them, if they point that means something is there."

I am not concerned about the zero level spells, though I think you should admend it if it turns out some of them can be abused within the way you want to play. For instance, I believe you mentioned that you give Magic users a form of detect magic for free, however, with this rule any spell caster with detect magic can use detect magic all the time since its a zero level spell.

Who's in charge here so I can tell ye about what lies ahead in the area I just purified:

There is a room down the hall. The room is an octagon; one side has the stairwell you come down from inside the bathhouse; the opposite side has a stairwell going down (this is where I saw undead creatures coming from when my last party was attacked). There is also 90 degrees from the two stairs; a hallway; the other sections have doors; one of which is the supply room where I put a friend (a sleeping Bear) who is currently hibernating due to his injuries sustained in our battle.

The room is 100 ft in any direction. Inside the room was all kinds of weird science experiments with vials of unknown going from bottle to bottle and dripping contents on into beakers or sometimes a necrotic cist or appendage or organ like a heart or brain in a jar. There is also several cutting tables and saws and scalpels and grippers and the like; there is also a mini ferris wheel that is about 25" in diameter and has several corpses tied to it; the gears that turn it grind; it dunks each corpse into some nefarious liquid that has electricity going through it. I even think the eyes I saw in a beaker blinked at me and followed me around the room (No head, No face, just eyes and eyelids.

There is a large, horribly smelling vat of rotting fleshy parts; and there is a table with all kinds of runic magic symbols; in the center of the floor is a great motif to Pluto; God of the Dead; and a small shrine to him was set centered on the room across from the hall; the shrine was surrounded by 30 or 40 or so skulls with candles on their heads to light the room.; there were also many other candelabras and spell materials and the like for making zombies and skeletons.

I say we go through the room and go down the hall.

hehe; one correction of Kosan's statement; guess I was unclear in my email to him; the hallway he saw is the one you guys are all in now; so the room he came from has a way out; and a way down and of course the hall you are in continues left or east if your orienting from the pool room.

ok; Kosan; you think Nebibit worships the Babylonian Goddess Ishtar; goddess of War and mad sexy kittycat lovin free to all who ask though gifts, ie paymentbut dont call it that, is expected. Growwlll :)

Now Jewel is a way fine sculpted drow female; but is wearing an Oni mask; and Oni is a oriental demon, so the mask is bit horrific and very detailed. A mask like that means ties to the Emperor Sebastion. When casting the spell on Nebibit to give her a resave against poison; she held out her holy symblol which was a perfect black sphere with darker black bands; possibly banded black quartz crystal.

As Namaste mentions that Grymble is a priest; you can roll on his holy symbol as well.

If anyone else displays one; might as well speak up so we cant get all this introductory stuff done.

Oh; and Thoronhen who comes up to guard the hallway is one of them high elves; shoot; and you thought they all went south and good riddance; now two drow and a high elf happy as clams; sheesh; what next; cats and dogs living together; well; you got three cats here and a bear in hidaway hehe; what next lion lay down with the lamb?

considering the size of that explosion; you can guess that room is probably pretty damaged; probably best to check though.

"If there is anything left that wasn't destroyed in the explosion, I'd like our mages to take a look at things before we destroy what's left. It may give us some insight into what lies ahead, especially if it's not just the usual undead, but also mad, er, alchemists' creations."
