Kris and Badhru make their way down the corridor and come across the ravine that the guard described. It’s a large, somewhat open chamber formed from dark stone. The ceiling stretches upwards 20 feet, and the ravine in the center descends into darkness.

Two guards stand on duty, a human man with a sword and a dagger and a bugbear woman with a greatsword. The bugbear sidles over to the man and whispers in his ear, and they both draw their weapons and lock eyes with Kristleifur.

Rolls:

Perc 1: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 2 = 15
Perc 2: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20

Assuming no last ditch efforts, we’ll roll initiative.

Despite being spotted, the party still manages to be quicker than the guards. Kris doesn’t quite manage to hit, but Badhru connects, catching the man off guard.

Aakif moves in close to where Kristleifur is, then he squishes himself against the wall so the more combative teammates can pass easily. He begins chanting his prayers of protection in as calm a voice as he can manage.

Move action to move, standard to squish. I'm not sure (or possibly don't remember) what your rules are for moving through allies. The chanting is just flavour for next round, where I'll likely end up more useful.


Male Tiefling (hell-spawn) Sorcerer (Infernal)/4th

Armanus moved forward, pistol at the ready. Standard move. Watching the flank while other more experienced sharpshooters find better vantage points to attack.

Zyrel bolts through the passage - slowed down enough by twists and squeezing past allies that he doesn't even make it to the opening of the tunnel by the time combat has started.

Badhru shift a bit more to give his colleagues some maneuvering room, then fires the second barrel of his pistol.

I'd like to move Badhru two squares north then one east (basically a "knight's move" into that corner, then fire my other barrel (PB Shot in effect).

The human grunts and mutters something before drawing a pistol as he runs forward to fire at Kristleifur. The gnome knows bullets more than most other things, and manages to dodge out of the way. It’s followed by the bugbear charging in at Badhru. She strikes a devastating blow, slashing him across the chest for 15 damage!

An aura of golden light shines nearly two dozen feet from Aakif, coating this allies in a spiritual armour, but leaving his enemies bare.
Using my aura ability from the Protection domain (defense subdomain). All allies within 20ft of me gain +2 Deflection AC and CMD. Lasts for 3 rounds. Leaving the aura will remove the bonus, but you can regain it once you re-enter it.

Kris fires again at the human, and the bullet strikes him. He staggers, badly injured, but does not fall. However, as Armanus and Elsa focus their attention on him, their various attacks push him over the limit and he falls to the ground as the bolts of magic hit him. Badhru is able to slash at the bugbear and she snarls before swinging again at the half-orc. The blow is strong, but less mighty than the other for 9 damage.

Zyrel pulls out his bow and fires at the guard across the chasm. The arrow goes wide, however.

Badhru slashes with his gladius, but the pain of the bugbear's strikes throw his aim off.

Attack: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11

The bugbear tries to swing at Badhru, but the agile half-orc just manages to dodge out of the way. The pistol-wielding guard tries to shoot at Zyrel. The elf mage, however, is similarly agile and the bullet simply grazes him, with his arcane armor protecting him from what little injury he would've taken.

The tiefling gets a peed on the guard across the chasm with his firearm, thankful the gnome is in front of him, allowing for better aim.

The gun fires over Kristleifur's head, missing the target.
"Sorry!" the cheliaxian shouts over the gunfire to the gnome.

Oh lordy! First Aramus peed on the bad guy (assume he meant bead). Then probably defence poor ol Kris. Had someone fire a pistol near my head unexpectantly once. There was much harsh language and a deaf ear for a while. :D I think I needed that.

'Too crowded. We're eventually going to shoot each other if this...' Zyrel winces as Kris nearly loses an ear.
Sighing he pulls his grappling arrow and swings it around the posts of the fallen bridge - not even bothering to shoot at this range - and tugs, both ensuring it stays tight and bracing it.
"Cross and flank! Who's up?" Zyrel calls, giving the others a moment to move.
I guess.. Standard to shoot? Not sure he needs to at this range. He'll pause a moment and anchor, in case anyone wants to cross. He'll then use a move action to leap/swing across - with the rope for safety and as something to pull on. Not sure what rolls are needed for this. Shoot +6, Acro +9(+7 in armor) and Dex +4.

I'd call that just an acrobatics. I'd let you jump across and shoot for your round.

Rolling to confirm your crit. That could have some impact.

Kris and Elsa send missles, both magical and mundane, at the bugbear but she powers through. Zyrel, however, shoots a nearly perfect arrow, hitting her in the gut. She staggers and collapses to the ground.

Two passages extend to the west, and one to the north.
