Elsa opens her lantern as the party launches a barrage of attacks on the leeches.
The missles of magic force slam into the leech as Badhru stabs it in the side. The creature’s jaws slacken as it drops to the floor, unmoving. Though Aakif misses his shot, Kristleifur’s strikes true as Zyrel stabs the second leech. It lets out a sickening shriek as it too falls dead.

Badhru |

Badhru examines the spot where the leech had started to affix itself to his leg. "Yeah, it doesn't look too bad," he says. "I just hope it didn't carry some disease or nothin' like that..."

Kristleifur Ehrenskiöld |

"Will do, Else!", Kris replies cheerfully, and duly gets back to scouting ahead, rapidly making himself unseen.
Stealth while underground (racial bonus): 1d20 + 15 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 15 + 2 = 33
Perception: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (15) + 10 = 25

Zyrel |

Zyrel looks to Badhru "It is a water dwelling creature that lives in a sewer, and it bit you. You have an infection, it will simply take time to show. Squeeze the wound now, let the blood push the detritus out. I will seal it to keep... fluids out. When we are in a cleaner environment I will do what I can to flush and clean the wound properly." He smiles grimly "including, ironically, leeches."
Basically medieval 'put some cream and a waterproof bandage on. Not actually going to do anything mechanically, I guess.

Elsa Swiftfoot |

Lena finishes her quiet count to a hundred and moves out, indicating to the others with the lantern, which is still open a crack.
Stay out of the water if you can she whispers. Move quietly and pay attention. It is dark, but you have ears. Leeches that size need to eat from larger creatures. Those are likely down here.
She moves after the scouts at half speed

Badhru |

Badhru heads out with Kris, feeling downright noisy next to the gnome.
Stealth: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18
Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13
Sorry, work has been a grindhouse this week, and probably will be through tomorrow.

Aakif Al-Khismia |

Aakif also walks with Lena. He keeps his pistol in his hand, and peers around for any threats, particularly from the water.

GM Coyote |

The party makes it across the chamber without incident, finding themselves in front of the metal door on the other side. It is, unsurprisingly, locked.

Badhru |

Badhru reaches for the lockpicking tools he keeps on his belt. Turning to Kris, he asks, "Shall I?"
Gonna give the door a once-over, and if it seems clear, I'll try to open it. (If it's not clear, I'll try to make it safe.)

Disable Device: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (14) + 10 = 24 +1 if Trapfinding is in play

GM Coyote |

Badhru feels like he’s close, tantalizingly close to popping open the lock. And yet, the door stymies him.

Aakif Al-Khismia |

Too bad Kristleifur doesn't have blast lock. That would have been funny.
Aakif takes a look at Badhru's progress, and notes the look of frustration.
"Do you require some help, Badhru?"
Without waiting for a reply, he blesses Badhru. "May He guide you, if He wills it."
Guidance.

Badhru |

Would using that guidance warrant a new roll?
"Gnh," the half-orc grunts in frustration. "I really oughta keep some efreeti cord on hand for these situations, just burn the damn door off its hinges."
I'll gladly roll again, but TBH I just checked our numbers and Kris' DD blows me out of the water. Should I assist on him?
Disable Device (+Guidance): 1d20 + 10 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 10 + 1 = 26+1 for Trapfinding if applicable

GM Coyote |

Abadar’s key seems to guide Badhru’s hand, and the lock clicks open.

Badhru |

Badhru silently raises a fist in triumph, and gives a thumbs-up to Aakif. He then nods to Kris, and if the smaller man is ready, will quietly open the door and peek in. If it's clear, Dhru will slip in.
Stealth: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27

To be fair, Kris's numbers include masterwork thief's tools
Kris responsd with his own thumbs up and a big grin, then goes very, very quiet.

Elsa Swiftfoot |

(assuming we have caught up to them)
Lena keeps the B team about 30 feet back, so as to not crowd the door.
Whispering Stand ready. If you need too, drink any potions and stuff. It could get very busy shortly
Once that is done she moves up herself, gesturing for the others to wait.
Is there any sound or light coming through the door?
perception: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (7) + 10 = 17
stealth: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (17) + 12 = 29

GM Coyote |

Working together, Badhru and Kris quietly crack open the door and slip in. With the door open, they can see a faint glow at the end of a long stone hallway. It seems to be coming from underneath another door, wooden this time.
Kris can hear a conversation going on the other side between two men. One says, ”Oi, Jalek! You still good to head to the Pickled Shark after this? That firebrandy is the only thing I’ve been cravin’ for this whole shift.”
The other, presumably Jalek responds, ”Sure, I guess. Never liked that firebrandy. Makes you crazy, and me sad. I do like the pork rinds though.”

Kristleifur Ehrenskiöld |

Kris motions to the rest of Team Stealth to get their attention. He then points to his ear and then down the hallway, two fingers up and visible.
He then makes an exaggeration sneaking movement and "bang bang" motion with his hands, before starting to slowly move forward.
Stealth: 1d20 + 15 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 15 + 2 = 24
Perception: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (14) + 10 = 24

Badhru |

My tools are WM as well, but I think I hamstrung myself by multiclassing, it kind of cut my available skill points with the barb levels. This may not have been the most thought-out build. :)
Noting Kris' signed signals, Badhru moves in with him, sword and pistol at the ready.
Stealth: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25

GM Coyote |

Alright, if the folks opening the door could position themselves in front of the door on the map.

Badhru |

In front of the door, by which we mean on the left of it on the map as shown, right? Sure, I'll see to that tonight (sorry, I'm at work right now and can't move stuff from my phone without turning the whole map into a disaster).

GM Coyote |

Yep, I can place you as well. Just wanted to get a sense of who all was heading in first.

GM Coyote |

Ready to open that door?

Aakif Al-Khismia |

Aakif peers over most of the group to look at the door. Noticing everyone waiting, he whispers harshly."Badhru, would you please open that door some time this century? Abadar is waiting."

GM Coyote |

Badhru cautiously pushes open the door and sees a stone room of obviously ancient design, a small pool at the far end of it. Two short flights of stairs lead down into the room, and several doorways lead out, one to the northeast, and another to the southeast. Two men are inside the room. One lounges on the staircase to the north, and another stands in front of the passage to the southeast.
As the door opens, the man to the southeast says, ”What the hell? Kerst, get up!” He draws a sword and says loudly, ”What in the god’s names are you doing here? Who are you? Figure it out quick, or things get ugly.”

Badhru |

As the man tries to get his courage up, Badhru levels his pistol at him. "Nuh-uh-uh, don't get any ideas, pal." Dhru takes a step forward, the better to allow his friends to start filing into the room.
Could someone 5' me into the room, please? Basically I'm hoping to keep my pistol on this guy and keep him covered while the others enter.

GM Coyote |

The guard apparently named Kurst jumps two his feet and draws to shortswords and growls as Badhru, ”Oh no you don’t, I am gonna get my damn firebrandy!”
Unless someone has a last ditch attempt to smooth things over, we’ll go into rounds, with the entire party being up!

Elsa slides in, lantern in one hand and a hand free with little sparks flicking off.
So do you feel lucky?

Badhru |

Badhru I guess will ready an action. Does, "Shoot the closer guy if he advances towards us or makes any hostile move" work as a trigger? And how do Readied attack rolls work? Just roll it ahead of time? And does a Readied attack like this mean I forego SA? I'd assume so.
