Hey, all. I just made a decision to drop pretty much all of my PF games. You may have noticed I have consistently played with heart and enthusiasm, but lately I think I come off more like a zombie nudging a d20.
It’s in part because I really have to get my butt in gear regarding the job hunt, and in my current state of mind, dice math, loot and leveling just feel like additions to my list of chores.
So sorry to do this, and also that I spent x months following the predictable patterns of Guy About To Bow Out Of Game(s) instead of just pulling the band-aid off.
Just know it’s not anything you did as a GM or PC teammate. It’s the toxic workplace.

Secretive agents. Mentioning the Conclave is up to your discretion, but the Conclave is also a fairly secretive organization so the Margrave may not understand what you're talking about.

Should we look to add another PC?
It sounds like Pumpkin Spice might be able to rejoin us at some point in the future, but even if they did, we'd only be back to 4.
When I joined, we were at 6, I think. Had Armanus, Kristleifur, and Aakif.
It seems a free-form enough campaign that I imagine it isn't terribly difficult for the GM to adjust to changes in party size, but a) what size party is most fun for everyone? and b) are we lacking any problem-solving capabilities?
For example, we don't have any healing ability since losing Aakif.
I'd lean towards adding one, though we could keep going as we are.

Works for me. Zyrel's a bit of an all rounder, so I'm not sure he really fills any niche amazingly well - but makes a good gap filler.

I haven't invited anyone yet, but I'm trying to think of how I would describe this game so they would have clear expectations.
It's a bit off-beat and moves at varying speeds. The setting is not standard Golarion, and it seems a pretty open sandbox.
I like this game a lot. I'm just not sure how to describe it.

That's definitely a good way to describe it, I'd say.
I'll add that having fluctuating player numbers is often a hit to my posting motivation, so hopefully with players that foresee being able to stick around I should be more able to keep the pace up.
Off-beat and nonstandard Golarion with open-ended missions is probably how I'd describe it.

Not really, it's a magical device that lets them communicate to you and for you communicate back if needed.
