@GM Coyote: nonproficiency increases misfire by 4. I thought we decided Zyrel was nonproficient until he'd practised for a bit because guns are not commonplace in Elven lands?

I might be wrong, it was a long time ago. I've certainly been treating him as non-proficient.

I'm going to say that you can be proficient in it if you want. That said, I'll count you as proficient for the purposes of misfires.

So it seems that this group can be pretty stealthy and likes to use that tactic. I will put some ranks into Stealth next level to get rid of the Meticulous penalty.
I don't imagine multiclassing to get Stealth as a class skill anytime soon, but Lanatir will keep boosting his Dex so that will help.

I might buy some alchemical stuff to reduce my armour penalty when sneaking. We might benefit from one of our arcane casters selecting sneaky spells. I don't recall if there's anything useful for clerics when it comes to sneaking.

Previously, it was mostly Kris and Zyrel. But our skill set seems to gone in a stealthy direction!
Magic seems to be a good way to help out Lanatir.

I hadn't made Lanatir to be a real Good character, but this is feeling pretty much on the Evil side to me. Moreso than I would like.
We'll see how it goes.
I had thought that this rival faith would also be undead, and I probably should have asked that. In which case eliminating them would still be mercenary, but not quite as bad in my view as allying with the dead against the living. My fault for making the assumption.
We could simply get the texts and lie to the undead about having killed everyone in here.

I had quite a moral crisis when it came to deciding Aakif's actions. The two main factors are that he still carries the burden of talking his way out of most of the loot in the last mission due to a desire to preserve life. The other factor is that once he agrees to do a job, he does the job. So he already feel committed to upholding his end of the bargain, even if the bargain has turned evil. (LE being only one step away for him)

If Aakif does get the signal to not attack, though, he wouldn't. Group unity is important.

Lanatir is pretty mercenary, but he does have some scruples (while LE is one step away for him too, it's a BIG step), and he isn't that desperate for coin. In fact he has quite a lot by the standards of most people on Golarion, I imagine. He at least would not fault you for talking your way out of loot.
From a player perspective, Automatic Bonus Progression is really great for that. You aren't scraping for the next +1 to whatever; coin is just for things that are really extra and special, not assumed by the system. At least IMO. I think it's a great system.
But let me add that I don't want to be the new guy coming in trying to change the way this party does things.

I'm pretty sure this group of clerics are either LE or NE, due to their penchant for hoarding knowledge (sounds similar to Norgorber).

Aramnus has no scruples about murdering everyone in the monastery, but negotiations work, fine by him. Perhaps this is a moment that might hint of the tiefling's real religious leanings.

Zyrel is neutral good, but recognises that he's in the dirty, scummy human lands for now. He pushed for a reasonable discourse last time, and is worried about pushing the group to talk again.
He heard the bit about hiding knowledge as like Norborger, but has now realised that may have been a bitter evil person talking about someone locking up Dark Texts.
