I would suggest that as well. No restrictions. Just remember I still have to get used to this method of playing. I'm using private messages to get the backstory for locals. That's only because there are some pieces of info that your PC will know that isn't known by just anyone, such as patrons and guilds and other people of importance.
I plan on opening the Gameplay Friday/Saturday. That's going to be the first chance I'll have to devote some real time to a few things on my end.

Ok, so I'm still working on his character sheet, but as for his backstory…
As part of a caravan, Bairid Mithaan and his parents were on a trip to visit their family in a relatively nearby city (Leaving that up to DM discretion.. not exactly sure where in the world Tallenfur is suppose to exist). One morning as the group of travelers was packing up to resume their journey, Bairid along with a couple other children who were all suppose to be asleep in their family wagons, got too involved in their game lost track of time.
After a shortly lived affirmation the children decided to return to the wagons, only to discover that the caravan had left and resumed its trip, unaware that the three kids were missing. They tried to follow the tracks that the wagon wheels had left in the dirt, hoping to catch up with the caravan instead of waiting for their parents to realize they're not there and come looking for them, but when they passed into dense patches of grass they lost their bearings.
They wandered for days, and the elements claimed one of the three children's lives. On the fifth day they found themselves being chased by wolves, who managed to seize one of the two, leaving Bairid fleeing for his life alone. When the situation reached its climax, the roar of a bear rung through the forest as the massive beast muscled its way in and intercepted the wolves. A tall man with a thick beard grabbed Bairid by the arm and yanked him to his feet, then told him to stand back while he chased the wolves off. Being a traveling man and not of the area, this tall and bearded individual (Lets say his name is Varron), was unable to find the caravan or return Bairid to Tallenfur. Bairid ended up staying with this man, who became his mentor in the ways of not only living, but living freely.
Years later, Bairid found himself unable to ignore the overpowering desire to return to Tallenfur and his parents, after speaking with a man who is on his way there himself. Once the two of them arrived in town, Bairid began asking around for anyone who may remember him or his parents, which he eventually found out had moved to the city shortly after returning from their trip, grieving and thinking Barid was dead… Thats where we are now!

Azalea Bramson |

That's a pretty interesting background, I look forward to seeing Bairid in action.
I haven't finished my sheet yet, but I do have a full background. For those interested...
The village librarian, Hector Bramson, was a quiet erudite. The middle child of three, he had inherited the library from his own father. He and his wife, Eleanor Bramson, née Eleanor Oakes, took great pride in their trade.
Though complications resulting from their first child’s birth made it too much of a health risk for Eleanor to have a second child, Mr. and Mrs. Bramson very much had it in their heart to adopt more children. Thus, they would adopt three more children over the years; a second son, a daughter, and, finally, a third son.
As a few years passed, the city began to bloom around them and, as it did, it began receiving more exotic visitors.
One evening, Roseanne Thatcher, matron of Tallenfur’s small village orphanage and now a good friend of the family came to speak to the Bramsons, making a request of them. A bandit ambush had claimed the life of a pair of visiting elves, leaving their daughter orphaned. Young Azalea was in need of a home, and, Roseanne hoped, the Bramsons would be the ones to take her in where others had refused, generally opting for children of their own race. Her new parents and siblings welcomed her with open arms; to them, she was one of them, Elf or not.
Hector and Eleanor were more than happy to accept, and young Azalea Bramson became the library’s youngest occupant and caretaker. It was not long before she gained her adoptive father’s passion for the literary arts. Every day would find her reading tome after tome when she wasn’t learning the highs and lows of the library’s care.
As the years passed and their parents aged, the Bramson children each began drifting towards their respective paths in life. The eldest, Johann Bramson, discovered a talent for the musical arts and became a bard quite renowned in the region. Arthur Bramson, the second son, became a clockmaker and opened his own successful boutique. Lucia Bramson, the eldest daughter, apprenticed with the old taylor and inherited his shop upon his passing. The youngest son, Nicholas Bramson, who turned out to be gifted with an impressive stature, would be part of the newly established city watch’s first regiment of guards, eventually ascending to the rank of second in command to the captain himself.
Azalea, however, had found her passion in her father’s own line of work. When Hector Bramson and his wife could no longer handle the library, the responsibility passed down to Azalea, and she took it on with great pride.
With time, Tallenfur grew, and with it, so did the library. Having been built when the village was young, the Bramson Library was a well-known building in town. Its proximity to the town hall and the biggest school made It an invaluable asset as the village bloomed into a town, and then a city. Thanks to the generous patronage of several rich individuals, it bloomed into a renowned institution.
The proprietor, however, was a different story. After the passage of time and her nature as a long-lived elf left her without much family, save for the occasional visit from her nephews and nieces, Azalea divided most of her time between the pursuit of knowledge and teaching herself the magical arts thanks to several mysterious tomes offered by a patron of the wizardly profession. The city grew around her, but she missed much of its growth, too absorbed in her tomes to see the years pass.
There was, however, one particular exception to her isolation. A traveling merchant had once came to town bearing a very unusual cargo: Tropical birds of all sorts, sold as pets and curiosities. At first only intending to look, Azalea visited the merchant’s stall, and found her heart stolen by a tiny yellow-headed green bird. Offering the merchant a handful of gold for the parakeet, Azalea brought it home to the library. Now bearing the name of Julio, the bird became Azalea’s faithful pet and, as she mastered more magic, her familiar.
However, her quiet routine would one day be disturbed with the arrival of a visitor…
~~~
The library thundered as its double doors were shoved open. Azalea peeked over the rim of her glasses, and sighed as she recognized the approaching figure. Laurien Asbonder, one of the library’s biggest contributors, had once more barged in, much to her annoyance. As much as his generous funding helped the library survive and expand, he had a way of grinding her gears like little else could.
"Azalea, you would never have had this sheltered life for so long without my money, and now I've found a way for you to earn your keep. I want you to find out who's trying to kill me. My guards have stopped two assassins in the last three months. I know they're from the same employer. I can't trust anyone else in my employ as they all have their own motives. You, though, only want to study. If I die, you'll have to earn your keep, but with me alive, you can study to your heart's content."
"I don't really care what you think," he continued, "but I want you to start in the town square by looking at the adventurers and mercenaries who are being hired by my cohorts. The rest I leave in your hands. I trust that your wisdom and knowledge - and powers - will serve me well."
And so, in the space of five minutes, Azalea had now been saddled with a quest. With a man’s life and a library’s prosperity on the life, she did not have much of a choice.
As I had said prior, I can make room for a 5th player. If you want, I'll make an intro for you into the campaign. Just shoot me a pm to let me know. I'm at a good spot for you to show up right now.
What questions did I not answer?
