Since we technically haven't been inside very long....

Rilia grabs her supplies from her horse and leads Angrboda to the far side of camp, someplace dark enough to require low-light vision to see into for bit of privacy.

She strips out of her own skin-tight leathers, and because she knows nudity disturbs some humans, keeps her underwear on.

"Sit." she instructs Angrboda, and then unpacks her supply of incense, candles, salves, and bandage wrappings.

Rilia settles in close beside Angrboda. The elf smells of lilacs in summertime. She uses more magic (open/close) to loosen the other woman's clothing, and then (unless resisted) disrobes Angrboda down to her knickers (if any) with a light application of mage hand, remaining close enough that Angrboda can feel the elf's breath and the warmth her body, but never once touching her.

Rilia puts her lips close to the other's ear, and says in a low whisper: "Now, tell me where it hurts, Angrboda."

Once informed she lights the candles with the tip of her finger (spark) one after another. She uses one to see by. Inspecting the wounds she gently cleans them with simple prestidigitation, and wraps them in medicated bandages.

Goran helps set the camp up for the night. He goes to get some firewood and quickly light it with his flaming ball. He gets out a pot and readies some hot tea and coffee. Only a few minutes for the water to be ready...sadly I don't have a better blend...but this stuff does the trick. As he waits for the water to boil, he shrugs out of his armor and stands it up to air out. His tattoo now on full display covering most of the left side of his chest. he grabs a loose fitting shirt and puts it on. His bedroll gets laid out next.

If you guys want to continue campfire banter for a bit, I'm fine with that. It looks like you are ready to move back to where you were in the dungeon, though. I'll be busy on Thursday and may or may not find time to post. Feel free to return to the dungeon and react to the room with the marble statues if you like, or let me know if you'd rather move on further to the northwest.

I've moved your minis back to roughly where they were before you decided to rest.

I've moved the party ahead, then. Again, if you guys want to nudge your characters around, feel free to do so. I'm not cross-marking the last area yet since you only poked your heads in.

This grand chamber contains finely carved stone, opulent in contrast to the rest of the crypt. The heraldry of five major houses are inscribed into the wall above five ornate sarcophagi. Each sarcophagus stands ajar and empty.

"Ah, there you are," the voice rings out almost before you see a ghostly creature float out from the western wall before solidifying its form. Though still semi-transparent in appearance, the creature bears armor and a sword that hearken back to ages past. "I thought I had seen signs of newcomers. Welcome, mortals, to the crypt of Mordesha. I must inform you that the general is away at this time. I ask that you respect the crypt, but otherwise you are free to wait for her within the crypt, as you desire."

In spite of the creature's words, you can see a seething, irrational anger rippling throughout its entire form. It is on the verge of lashing out violently.

Critter is an outsider, despite its appearance.

This creature is an unfettered phantom, a spirit that managed to escape back to the Material Plane after its death, frequently as the result of a traumatic experience in death. Their natural attacks carry an element of the emotion as well & anger is known for making phantoms that attack for more damage than phantoms of other emotional focuses.

This unfettered phantom appears to be a powerful specimen of its kind. Additionally, you know that it will heal almost immediately from weapons that do not cut it. slashing DR

Goran, you don't drop at zero. You are staggered (can only take one standard or move action). If you do anything strenuous at zero HP (most standard actions count), you will take 1 damage after the action & then you will drop and start bleeding out.

Healing yourself would be one reasonable way to go. Since after your action you wouldn't be at zero hp anymore, you wouldn't take the one damage. That leaves you standing right next to the phantom though. You also could just move away from the critter. It's conveniently blind right now and you wouldn't risk an opportunity attack.

Angrboda: for now, Eniac can't attack without a push and you didn't make the DC for that round. We'll talk about tricks more in the Discussion thread.

Evariel reaches into the spell-weave with his mind, and around the corner with his hand. He pushes a spell into Angrboda, who starts to grow-- and keeps growing.

As Rilia's player might be busy for the next couple of days:
Next round: More whip cracking! She always tries to maintain a 10-foot range and clear line of sight with her target. She maintains her inspiring performance for at least 2 more rounds of the combat (if it goes that long).

Seemingly enraged by Rilia's taunts, the phantom steps around Eniac to attack her. It swings through the air blindly with its first attack but its second slam crushes into her body.

Rilia takes 15 damage. If she wants to change her action based on that result and sees this in time, she can. Party turn!
