"No it definitely hasn't." the cleric says giving the big fighter a pat on the shoulder. "Don't worry, I'm not letting him die, no matter how hard he tries." she says to Frostine, flashing the sorceress a smile.

Trying not to grasp him too tightly, Frostine runs to Thorgr and puts her arms around him. With her arms around him she tries to make sure that she wouldn't cry. He was alive after all. Looking around she asks, "Okay....so now what are we supposed to do?"

"I dunno," Jerrica says. "But there's still something else running around here. I doubt that minotaur could have gotten out by itself."

She nods gratefully at Dagmarr and tries to give her a little smile. She didn't know how much they would be able to still take before resting. She still didn't know how to find those bandits or where they came from...but they had to get through this thing too.

Flicking the blood off her axe, Sig's song fades to silence as she moves over to stand beside Jerrica. "Maybe through the door he came out of?"

She nods, "Maybe we could go through that gate....but I don't want us to keep going and going until we fall. At some point we are going to have to find a "safe enough" area to rest. This place seems pretty expansive and dangerous and I don't want us taking big risks of running into something while we're run down or whatever from fighting stuff. Does that make sense?"

"Some rest would be good," Thorgr says. "Perhaps we can camp outside the maze, that way we can stop anyone who comes out."

"I think that would be a good idea." Sig says tiredly, wincing slightly as she rubs her ribs.

"Alright," Jerrica says, putting an arm around Sig. "Let's go then."


You exit the maze with no opposition and make camp outside.

As the group settles in to set up camp, Dagmarr spends her first 2 hours working on treating and bandaging her companions' injuries.

"At some point, I need to invest in better armor," Thorgr laments. "I might as well be fighting naked for all the good the set I have does."

"To be fair, it had a very large axe," Jerrica comments. "Fighting naked wouldn't solve anything either..."

Sig can't quire stifle the snicker. "Better armor would be nice, but that axe was probably going to hit anything he swung at. We'll just have to be on the lookout for an opportunity to upgrade."

"I'm definitely glad to have you with us," Jerrica says, taking out the rest of her rations for the day.

Thorgr nods, getting his food out as well.

Frostine stays close to Thorgr as she digs out some rations as well even though she didn't feel very hungry.

Frostine takes out a little of the dried fruit and meat as she tries to at least eat a little bit of it. She mostly picks at it though, while taking a small bite here and there.

"Well I am glad to be here." Dagmarr replies getting out her own rations and sitting down to eat.

Dagmarr frowns at the big fighter. "If you're going to take watch before resting then you'll need more healing. Whispering a prayer as she refocuses her divine magic, she reaches over to touch Thorgr's shoulder.

She nods appreciatively at Dagmarr before shaking her head at Jerrica, "I...I don't think you screwed up. I think something fishy is going on around here." She says as she returns the largely ignored portion of her nightly rations to her pack.

"I don't think the villagers saw it that way," Jerrica says.

"I'll take the second watch with you Frostine." Dagmarr says as she begins to set up her bedroll.


After eating and resting, you find that no one emerges from the maze during your rest.

Before

She looks at Dagmarr and nods as she sets up her own bedroll, "Okay." Laying down where she can still see Thorgr, she falls asleep while watching him.

She gets up for her watch with Dagmarr, but sees nothing unusual. Shaking her head she says, "I just don't get it. Where in the hells are they coming from that they can't be seen? Is is something invisible or something? I mean....I know we don't see anyone....but there has to be some kind of explanation, doesn't there?" She asks as she's utterly confused as to what's going on.

After Sig and Jerrica take over she goes back to her bedroll and moves it a little so that she's right up against Thorgr. Getting settled back in it, she snuggles up into his side and puts an arm over him before falling back into a deep sleep.

Once they wake up she finds it utterly baffling how someone could be stealing from that village if they don't see anyone. She takes out some more rations and starts to nibble on them as she drinks some more water.

"I didn't see anything either," Jerrica says. "Maybe they're hiding in the maze because they know we're after them?"

"Seems to be a good explanation," Thorgr says, starting to eat his rations.

"We're going to have to find some drinkable water soon too," Jerrica says. "My waterskin is nearly empty."

She nods, "Yeah...I've been kind of conservative with mine....but dehydration would be really bad so we should make finding a water source one of our top priorities."

"I can take care of that." Dagmarr says with a smile, reaching out to touch the waterskin in Jerica's hand and whispering a brief prayer. The rogue feels the waterskin increase to it's full weight, slightly cooler to the touch.

Cast Create Water.

"If you all give me your waterskins I can refill them all. No need to conserve. The water conjured with this spell lasts a day, but I can always do it again. Freya isn't fond of her warriors dying of thirst on the battlefield." the cleric says with a grin.

Getting out food for herself and Jerrica, Sig lets out a low whistle. "Now that's a useful trick!"

Chuckling as she takes a bite she looks in the direction of the maze. "Well if our actions have at least scared them into not attacking the village last night I'd say our efforts are working at least."

She takes her freshly filled water skin and takes a long drink, "Ahhh....thank you again Dagmarr. While I may not always feel very hungry, I do get very thirsty."

Dagmarr smiles as she takes a drink form her own waterskin, preparing to push further into the maze.

"We can either go back to where the horn was or try a different passage," Jerrica suggests.

She thinks for a bit, "I guess we go back to the horn and see what lies beyond it. I'd like to clear out all these areas to make sure we don't end up getting ambushed or surrounded. Does that make sense?" She asks as she's unsure whether or not her idea is actually a good one or not.

She kind of shrugs while scrunching up her nose a bit, "Really? I never really think of myself like that."

She blushes slightly at Sig's comment, "Oh...I guess. I mean...I don't know, but thanks Sig."


Going past the gate where the minotaur emerged, you find a path going left and another going right. These corridors are larger, perhaps to accommodate the Minotaur's size.
