Jerrica easily opens the cage.

Smelling the cup she says, "That smells like the stuff that was in that pot back at the orc camp that they gave to the other two." Taking a hold of the woman she pulls her out of the cage and lays her on the ground.

"Do you think she'll come around soon?"

She shrugs, "I'm not sure, but I can do something about her dirty clothes and smell at least." She waves her hands over the woman and her clothing now looks clean and there's a smell of wildflowers about her.

Dagmarr briefly checks the woman over for injuries and to see her current state. "I concur, we need to take her out of here and focus on recovery."

She nods, "We need a safe place where we can secure ourselves and rest safely until everyone is okay."


Dagmarr can tell the woman is in induced unconsciousness. However, she has no clue how long she'll be out.

After studying the woman and looking at Thorgr, Dagmarr notes his reduced strength. "I know you must feel very worn down right now Thorgr, but do you thing between you and Sigrdrífa you could carry her? She will be unconscious for quite a while and we need to settle somewhere that I can attend to her properly." she asks the fighter.

She thinks for a bit, "What if we go back to that room by the arena? The one that thing slept in? I could clean it up and make it smell better and it should be easily defendable. We could probably even bar the door." She says thinking about the best place they could rest safely.

"That would work. A good solid door, defensible location. Let's get moving." Sig says moving forward to help pick up the woman.

Thorgr puts his arm around the woman and heads back the way they came.

Frostine follows silently behind, hoping that everyone is able to recover from this alright.

Dagmarr walks ahead, sword drawn, trying to keep a wary eye out for any danger.

You arrive at the minotaur's chamber without incident.

Immediately Frostine goes about the area cleaning it of any dirt and debris while leaving a fresh forest scent in place of the nasty musty one. She goes to the bed of straw and freshens it up leaving it clean as well. It would make a good place to lay down their mystery woman until she awoke.

After about forty minutes or so the place is almost immaculate, "There...that's better."

Thorgr lays the woman down after Frostine finishes cleaning. "I know I just stood here, but that took it out of me..."

Jerrica gets out the rest of her trail rations. "I think we should have watches again, just in case."

After looking around for a bit she finds an old blanket, and after cleaning it and getting rid of the smell she lays it over the woman. Going to Thorgr she puts her arms around him, "I know love, and I'm sorry I wasn't able to do more to help you. I'll get better and then maybe I can keep things like that from hurting us so much....or at least make it harder for them to do so." She hugs him before taking their bed rolls and setting them up with her extra blanket that she brought.

Thorgr nods. "It's not your fault at all. Sneaky little bastards and their poison..."

She shrugs, "If I was stronger they never would have gotten close enough to hurt you." She says sounding a bit angry with herself.

"I get in close. It's just what I do," Thorgr says, sitting on his bedroll.

She shrugs as she changes from her travelling clothes into her long blue nightgown, "I know...I just...I don't know."

"It's not just your responsibility to keep us safe," Thorgr says. "Not like we could have known they poisoned their weapons."

"That's true," Jerrica says, chiming in.

She nods, "Okay....I guess you're right. I know we all work together and we can't know everything about every single thing we come up against....I just want us to be careful and for everyone to come out of this okay." She says still sounding a little sullen but less angry with herself.

"They aren't very big or strong so they fight dirty. Every one works with what they have.When you see a little opponent, that's the one you need to be truly wary of." Sig says thoughtfully. "And things would have gone differently if they didn't have the ability to blind us even in death."

As the others talk, Dagmarr begins attending to the battered woman applying her healing talents, treating her numerous injuries.

Take 20 on heal. Heal 1hp per her level +4+1d4 ⇒ 4 minimum 9hp if she's level 1

"Yeah....I know. We'll just have to be more careful...that's all. Some things just can't be helped." She says as she shrugs again slightly.

Thorgr finishes his rations for the day. "I guess I'll take the first watch."

Frostine finishes her rations as well, "I can take third if you want me to."


Dagmarr heals the woman's wounds but she still remains unconscious. The night passes uneventfully and nothing changes with the woman's condition in the morning.

Thorgr feels a little better in the morning, his strength still sapped. "Do you think we should head back to Corrie's?"

She shakes her head, "I don't know....I don't like leaving things...unfinished. I'd like for her to wake up so we don't have to carry her all the way back as well, and I'd like for you to be better before we head back in case we run into more trouble. I'd still like to know what's stealing from those villagers and put a stop to it....I'd like to do a lot of things...but most of all...I want us to be safe."

She sort of shrugs, "I don't know what to do....I just think it's kinda dangerous to travel while carrying around an unconscious woman with us."

Awakening and preparing her spells for the day, Dagmarr goes over to Thorgr intoning a prayer to her goddess to restore some of his strength.

She watches Dagmarr, impressed by her ability to heal and reverse the damage that was done to her love's strength. Looking at the priestess she says, "Thank you....I don't think I can ever tell you that enough. You are constantly saving our butts." She turns to Thorgr, "How are you feeling now love?"

"Ah, that'll do it," Thorgr says, stretching. "Thanks again, Dagmarr."

She thinks for a moment, "Well...now that you're at pretty much full health again...do you guys think we should take sleeping beauty back to Corries? I'm not sure with her being unconscious and all...but she could be the one we're looking for couldn't she? It fits the M.O. of the other abductions and I'm not sure anyone but Woden could get her to wake up if that poison stuff was strong enough to knock her out for an extended period of time. We can't wait around here forever for her to wake up either since eventually we'll run out of food." She works out as she thinks things through out loud.

She nods, "Then we get her back to Corries and try to figure out that crazy Village's problems once we see that she's going to be alright. Some things are more important than invisible silent food thieves."

She scratches her chin as she thinks, "That is entirely possible. Now that we've found her, maybe the thefts will stop and that will solve that problem as well. Can you carry her alright now love? I'd like to get back home....er...Corries....you know what I mean." She says as she picks up the bedding and sits down to have some rations and water.

She nods as she eats and drinks her water, "Okay, then once we're done eating and have our stuff together we'll head back to the cottage okay?"
